Fuel
Does anyone here have any experience with Wildcat fuel??? I have read a bunch of stuff about it on their site and it seems like really good stuff. I have also looked around on the HPI forum and found nothing but praise for their fuels. Now I am just wondering if anyone local has used it. I plan to use the 20% Nitro with the 18% lubricant (it also comes in a 14% if anyone is interested) in my new engine as I want it to last at least a couple summers. At $50 a gallon it is a little more expensive but if half the claims they make on their site are true I think it will be worth the extra cash over the Red Alert fuel I was originally planning on using.
If not does anyone have any other sugestions as I doubt we will see fuel for at least a week if not more and it is supposed to be +17 this Sunday (April 13) and I would have loved to get my car out.
What is everyone else planning on running this summer??
i here alot about MONSTER fuel... %20... but where are you going to get this stuff from?? and how long would it take to get here?? i think i might break my T-maxx in this weekend, and take it out for a boot!!! i can't wait it is going to be wicked out side!!!
Re: Fuel
Project R/C sells it but he doesn't have any 18% in stock and he wants cash before hand for it so we're getting the 14% instead.
The Monster Horsepower fuel is made by Wildcat but only has 12% oil so i don't want to use that. HPi fuel and a couple others is also made my Wildcat but are all the 14% blend. I have heard lots of good and a ltiny bit of so so stuff about Monster Horsepower. It seems that is is a very close second to the Wildcat fuel. It may actually perform better due to the lower oil content sacrificing engine life. I going to just go with the 14% oil Wildcat if I because I don't want to get my car out this weekend as Project R/C has that in stock.
I have heard lots of bad things about blue thunder so i won't use that.
Re: Fuel
I'm trying out the Wildcat 20% (with 14% oil) fuel and it seems to perform very well. It smells nice too (ooooh, my burning eyes). I'll keep you up to date on how it performs throughout the course of the season as sorta a long term test.

Re: Fuel
Although I have only broken my engine in I like this fuel already. It seems to keep my car cleaner and it runs really nice (this could be the new engine though). It smells a lot different, better in my mind but orange color will take a little getting used to.

E-RC Fuel
You guys gota try Eliminator-rc Fuel
It rocks
and it is always fresh I have been using it for 3 years and no problems uses all VP/Angus and klots ingredients
I look at it like this they use it in 200k and up race cars
there is only two places in the world to get raw nitro
so it is good for my rc
In fact I have had two identicle hpi motors one on side winder and the other on E-rc and the e-rc has lasted now 3 gallons more and still going .. Plus it is 10 dollars cheaper ...
