Going from 200 to 250
I recently got my poison making up to 200, boy is that expesive... I even got frustrated and cashed in some of my training points for the 185 to 200 range and a pretty piece of change. So my question is... I have the training points... should i just fork over the dough and train all the way up to 250 or is there a cheaper way that doesnt involve to much farming? What is your thoughts? I have like over 100 training points that I dont have really earmarked for anything, was thinking of maybe doing some other tradeskills and might use em there but then again whats the point in that? Not like there is any money to make in it from what I hear, and I am a pretty poor rogue with no alts to farm with to try to make money for these endevures.
Just buy the points up until a geerlok gets you to the max of 252, no point in spending money beyond that - i am up to 248 now just from making poisons(i always have my GMAS equipped).
.
not sure if i just got really lucky , but i dont think so, but going from around 200 to 250 which is what i did in my last push of skill ups, i made money, had 180 ish cha and sold back to the poisonvendor (was in pok). made about 1.3k or something not a lot but at least it's profit
Re: .
I spent about 10k total in doing GM PM in a PL fashion (bought 230-250)
I spent 6 of the 10k going from 230-250 via using practice points, and this was before the nerf on selling back poisons.
Compared to other tradeskills.. mastering poisonmaking isn't too terrible.. but the key thing i've seen is that dex and your input in time make all the difference.
I would also recommend using the guides posted elsewhere on the site here.. i used them, and they worked well for me
Re: .
No reason to raise past 240 at all. Get to there, mod to 252 with geerlok/vial/seal, and have a ball. Hehe, I don't even have a screenshot of dinging 250 because I did it through the course of making my proc buffs and didn't notice.
