Grandmaster Jewelers' Eyeglass
For the amount of platinum I spent making one of these, I think it counts as a battle. This is one of the new tradeskill recipes.
End result is a .01 weight, primary, secondary, range, ammo item that is 10 Str, 10 Int, 10 Wis, and 50 Cha.
I had saved up about 8k from fighting in Seb. and selling lowbie trash items. (Tower Guard's Blade anyone?)
It requires a mounted blue diamond, diamond, black sapphire, and jacinth. A mounted gem is two bars of vellium, and the gem itself, so this section alone costs just over 3600pp!
Next you need a vial of purified mana. That's four rubies and a vial. There went another 550pp.
Take the mounted gems, the purified mana, a glass shard, a small block of clay, and a water flask, combine them on the pottery wheel, and you get an unfired Artisian seal.
Put the seal in a kiln with a HQ firing sheet, and you get an Artisian seal. These get trivial around 130 - 148 for a potter.
It only took me about 45 minutes to go from 0 to 167 in pottery. Then I had to switch to sealed poison vials. For those I needed "skins". Most any "skin" will do, so I figured Unrest has a lot of yard trash, and tourmented dead drop 1 or 2 zombie skins per kill. So I went over there and offered 1pp per skin. In the meantime, I hasted myself and straight meleed them with my new Staff of Writing that I got from the guild (thanks!). 3 hours later I had 90 skins, and I went back to max my pottery skill.
Throw the seal in your jewelers' kit with a silver bar, and another glass shard (if memory serves me). Hit combine.
I failed on my first attempt. But my second one was successful!

I made 2 of them, first try. Funny thing is that a Female bard by the name of Nenia or something like that (which is a little boy) said that my shields look like newbie sheilds (they glow in the shape of shield depending on your expansion) I said... "things are not as they seem.... boy"
hehe he/she got upset then said a 54 chanter is too low for crypts in seb.... 15 minutes later I saw a corpse being drug out.... (the 53 bard)
mwahahahaha
btw, you don't get the stats if you put it in your ammo slot, but it will go in that spot. I hope this is a bug that will be fixed.

that same bard told me I was " not good enuff to tank the Disco's " so would not join my group... so get a getto mezin necro to pull.. cleric, rouge, wizzie, and i think a shammy and go tank the D's for hours then ohhhh CC plz /shout woot disco's with a Ranger TANK SO BLOW ME!!!!! she doesn't doubt me anymore... or speak to me for that matter..../shurg no skin of my ass
