Guillermo Luchapelea
Name Guillermo Luchapelea

Age 16

Grade: 10

Appearance Guillermo stands at 5’10” and a slim 157 lbs. Although he’s not particularly tall, his slim lanky body makes him appear even taller. His build is rather small; nearly no fat, but not much muscle either. However, Guillermo’s lower body is bigger in mass than his lower body, with calf muscles that are big relative to the rest of his body. These calf muscles fit perfectly next to his size fourteen duck feet, which help his body seem incredibly disproportioned. Guillermo’s skin is a dark brown that resembles that of a stereotypical Native American. The main distinct feature on his body is a circular scar on his right bicep that resembles a burn mark.

Guillermo’s face sits atop lackluster regular sized shoulders. His strong rigid jaw line is the most prominent feature on his face. Guillermo’s prominent jaw takes attention away from his cleft chin with bushy black hair drooping off the bottom of his chin. Aside from the hair drooping off his chin, Guillermo’s facial hair is kept shaved, which serves to emphasize his jaw line. However, his head is covered by somewhat long straight black hair that’s usually slicked back, except for a few bangs that droop onto his forehead. Guillermo has dark brown – almost black – eyes beneath his naturally arched eyebrows. His eyes aren’t exactly slim, nor are they wide bug eyes. They’re medium sized, but his dark eyes could easily suck anyone in. In general, Guillermo’s eyes have a hint of sadness or anger in them. A thin scar curves from his right eyebrow down to his jaw.

If Guillermo has a choice in clothing, Guillermo wears a lot of black and is incredibly informal. If it’s warm, he’ll usually wear a black t-shirt. If it’s cold, Guillermo will wear either a black long-sleeve shirt or a black sweatshirt; Guillermo never wears anything heavier than his black hooded sweat-shirt. His black long-sleeve shirts are tight, but his sweatshirt is loose as is his black t-shirt. As far as pants go, Guillermo wears either black shorts that go down past his knees, faded blue jeans with torn knees, or black sweatpants; all of his pants are baggy. As for shoes, Guillermo tends to wear a pair of black on black Nikes. Occasionally, Guillermo wears a black beret or a pair of black gloves.

Personality A real product of his environment, Guillermo is a militant man driven by a desire for change. Guillermo’s impatience and background drives his militant behavior. However, his mind revolves around his desire for change. Not the slight changes that voting would bring about, but a quick vast change. Guillermo wants a change in almost every facet of life, but he wants a vast change in governments around the world more than anything.

Simply put, Guillermo has fallen in love with the idea of a revolution. Not the bloodshed, but the change that comes about afterwards. In his mind, the idea of a revolution is both distant and close. It is distant in that he dreams to go back to Bolivia and start one to change the government. However, it’s close in that he is ever rebellious and hates being restricted by rules and laws. Although he’s rebellious, he’s not stupid. He does want a change and is extremely rebellious, but he’s not stupid. Example, Guillermo would not attack a teacher for pointing out a dress code violation. He carefully picks and chooses his fights.

Guillermo picks his fights based upon whom it would benefit. The most important would be if it benefited people as a whole. He may be rebellious, but he has an affinity for people unrivaled by most others, even though he rarely shows it. As a result of his childhood, he hates seeing the suffering of others, which is why he is rebellious. In his eyes, a revolution is the only solution for his country. His rebellious mind is a product of his affinity for people. However, rebellion isn’t the only way to solve people’s problems, but it is the solution he usually tries first.

Although Guillermo’s not in love with the actual bloodshed of the revolution, he recognizes the necessity for violence. In his eyes, voting is useless and a tool used to restrict the real power of the people. From his point of view, the slow gradual change people talk about when it comes to voting is a distant illusion. In his eyes, violence is the only way to get everyone to notice and to affect everyone. In his eyes, violence is the real solution for Bolivia and the troubles throughout Latin America.

Guillermo isn't exactly social in that he doesn’t try to meet anyone, but he doesn’t go out of his way to avoid people. His mindset is ‘If they want to meet me, they can come talk to me. Otherwise, I’m not going out of my way.’ If someone were to approach him, they would find an extremely social person. He enjoys talking, and loves a good laugh as much as the next person. Thanks to his affinity for people, Guillermo can be a warm soul with his friends. More importantly, he is incredibly loyal, partially due to his persistence (or stubbornness, depending on your point of view).

Guillermo is a very calm person who likes to take time to think about things. He’s somewhat smart, but he’s not very quick-witted. He likes having time to think about what he needs to do. When forced to make a quick decision, he simply relies on instinct and hopes it guides him to the path. Guillermo tends to keep quiet so he has time to think.

Rarely does Guillermo lose his cool. Unfortunately, when it comes to girl, Guillermo has no experience. He tries to keep his cool around girls to keep from making a mistake. On the surface he may seem calm and cool, but inside he’d be extremely nervous. However, Guillermo tends to keep his emotions bottled up, which helps him keep his cool.

Special Power
Tendril – A tendril linked to the scar going up his right bicep can manifest when Guillermo wills it, if he is concentrating enough. The tendril will actually manifest as an extension of his right arm. The tendril can change in length and width, but the shape is usually that of a whip. The tendril itself is flexible but hard; not quite rock hard, but certainly not jelly soft. Its maximum dimensions can be 6 feet in length by 2 feet in width or 3 feet in length by 4 feet in width.

Once manifested, the tendril responds to Guillermo’s thoughts, moving where he wills it. However, the size and maneuverability of the tendril depends on his physical and mental condition. If he’s not focused, then the tendril can be greatly stunted and hard to move. The same will happen if his body is fatigued. At worst, Guillermo simply won’t be able to manifest the tendril. At best, the tendril can act as a melee club; it can never become sharp enough to stab. However, it can wrap around something provided that it's close enough.

Tendril Branches – Tendrils can branch off of the main tendril when Guillermo wills it. At this point, the tendrils are much smaller than the base tendril, although their sizes vary based on how many branches there are. At best, Guillermo can branch off five tendrils that are each 2 feet in length by a half of a foot in width. Like the base tendril, these branches depend on Guillermo’s physical and mental condition.

History: Guillermo was born in La Paz, the capital of Bolivia. His mother died while he was young, which left him with his father at age 3. His father was a doctor, so he often worked insane times but Guillermo always had food on the table. Although he grew up in one of the nicer parts of Bolivia, suffering and poverty surrounded him. Poverty was apparent in the ghettos of La Paz, and it only became more apparent upon leaving the city.

However, at a young age, Guillermo always had an affinity for people; rich or poor, young or old. He was incredibly talkative, often saying hello to strangers. Unfortunately, this made his father’s job a lot harder, as he was always worrying about whether or not Guillermo would get abducted. This worry often grew into anger that erupted when his father came home from a long day of work. Guillermo was often reprimanded or occasionally beaten as a child.

This quickly taught Guillermo not to talk to strangers. However, this also caused him to grow inwards and become incredibly introspective, and a lot less talkative. As time went on, his father paid for a private school, but the poverty was still apparent in Bolivia. Although he grew more silent, his affinity for people grew stronger.

As he grew older, he started reading a lot more. Guillermo quickly became a fan of “Che” Guevara’s works. He first read Radical Writings when he was 10, and he only read it because his father pushed it on him. As time went on, “Che” became an idol of his, especially after learning he died in Bolivia. His ideals grew to revolve around “Che’s,” and even if he didn’t agree with him at first, he quickly believed everything he said.

More importantly, Che caused Guillermo to become militant. Most of the aspects of Guillermo’s personality were crafted out of Che’s books and what he thought Chew old do. However, his affinity for the people never changed, which was why he was drawn to Che in the first place. At the age of 14, his power first appeared.

Late at night, his arm started burning, until the mark on his arm was crafted in. The tendril soon manifested and his father rushed into the room. Neither of them knew what to do, so they quickly rushed into the car. As soon as they started the car, the tendril retracted. As time went on, the tendril manifested more and more often. Slowly Guillermo gained a little control over it. The sensation of it manifesting became similar, and he quickly learned to suppress the manifestation.

However, when the branches first appeared, things became a lot more complicated. By the age of 15, he could suppress the manifestation, and slightly control the branches. Towards the end of his freshman year, the tendril manifested in class and he quickly became an outcast. After Guillermo finished the year, he had quite a few conversations with his dad until they decided on Manga High School, mostly so he could control his power.

EXAMPLE ROLE-PLAYING POST: The noon sun burned bright above an open green field. Blades of grass danced like embers in the wind as a light breeze bounced by. The light winds coaxed the field, keeping the temperature around seventy five degrees. Guillermo lay on his back amidst the wavering blades of grass, wearing his usual black t-shirt and black shorts; he wore no shoes, he simply left his feet bare. Guillermo’s dark brown skin clashed against the light green blades of grass, bringing more attention to his body and pulling attention away from his clothes.

The light winds brushed against his body and cooled the light beads of sweat collecting on his forehead. Thanks to the bright sun above, Guillermo’s forehead shined like aluminum foil under a lamp. The grass moving about near his skin scratched Guillermo lightly, but he was far too relaxed to notice. He watched the white puffy clouds inch across the light blue sky while his mind moved at an equally glacial pace. As Guillermo scooted himself to the side, he felt a slight pain spread throughout his chest and arm.

Jeeze…It still hurts…? Maybe tomorrow I won’t be so sore…

The distant scent of smoke brushed his nose, before the scent of spicy peppers graced his nose. A multitude of seasonings melded together inside his nose and left his tongue with the distant taste of seasoned meat. His stomach rumbled as saliva filled his mouth. Inhaling deeply, Guillermo sat up and pushed the distant soreness away. His dark brown eyes scanned his surroundings until he saw the smoke rising across the field. The gray puffs were transparent for a moment, which allowed Guillermo a glance at the white building behind the metal grill. Abruptly, Guillermo pushed himself to his feet and walked towards the grill.

Uh yeah, could you fix the coding, please? And only bold the titles, no need to underline. I'll be putting the coded template up soon, so if you want to transfer it to that, go ahead.

The dimensions of the Tendrils are too big to start with; even the extensions are. Five feet in width is HUGE, you might want to cut it down quite a bit.

Re: Guillermo Luchapelea
Alright, what uses does the tendril have? It's based on your answer if I'll tell you to water it down more. Also;

Quote:
Guillermo isn’t very social.

And then you go on to say:
Quote:
If someone were to approach him, they would find an extremely social person. He enjoys talking, and loves a good laugh as much as the next person.

This confuses me. I thought being social included meeting and talking to people, nut just meeting people. If you could clarify this, it would be nice.

Re: Guillermo Luchapelea
I think that for a blunt weapon, an extension of 5 feet by 2 feet is WAY too big. Even the smaller, thicker one is too big. If it's like I think it is (muscle-like) and moves on its own + the movement of the arm, it could do some massive damage in a melee. I think that making it similiar to a whip would be best for now, maybe like a 3 foot by a half an inch maximum.

I am not sure if you are returning. But to insure that everyone knows that We don't give up on you guys I'll still reply.

If no reply has been received I will delete this at the end of February.

Such as Dev said. The dimensions of the tendrils are a bit extreme. Make them smaller if you can and they will be more acceptable.

This is where I put more of my random thoughts. :)

Has everyone heard, there have been attacks in the forest. More and more students are showing up in Mrs Hanabishi's ward by the day. What's going on. It's the talk of the school.
