HSG Code of Ethics "The HSG Way"
1. Conduct yourself with Respect and Honor, have Integrity in your words, and Dignity for others.
2. Respect the other Elders of the Community (they are Leaders of another Group) each time you correspond with them.
3. Show Honor in your Words and Actions for they show your Integrity as an Individual.
4. Respect the Elder/s of HSG (House Saint Germain) but please don't kiss our a**. We are here as your Leaders, Mentors, and Guides. .
5. Do your best to get along with one another if there is a dispute do what you can to work it out between each other so an Elder/s doesn't have to step in.
6. Respect all Safehavens when visiting. Do not be a Slob or you may lose your ability to visit or stay there again. Mind your manners and be Respectful to the Owners.
7. Safe Bloodletting is a must so don't do anything that may Endanger your Donor's Safety, Life, or Health. Remember to use Caution Always.
8. Never do anything against your Donor's will. Respect them because they are giving you a part of theirselves.
9. Each of us have our own Beliefs so remember that when you are talking with one another. Always do you best to be open minded and curtious to ones with different Beliefs than yours.
10. Vamprism is not a Religion it is just part of what we are. You are Born Vampiric not Made, Turned, or Sired into being one although ones with a Vampyric Nature tend to go through what is best called an Awakening. This may happen more than once throughout a lifetime. This sometimes happens during certain age ranges or during certain situations like a Health problem triggering what was already there lurking. Something else to add to this for information sake "No, a Cross isn't going to protect anyone from being approached by one of us, Holy water just gets us wet, and Sunlight is not going to turn you to dust like in the movies, but most of us do tend to be very sensitive to being in Sunlight."
11. If you are Vampyric Be careful who you let know this because most people Fear what they don't understand. Yes there is Buffy wannabes out there just like we have to contend with Dracula wannabes. A note of Caution: Yes there is such a thing as real Slayers or "Vampire Hunters" out there that want to off any of us they run into. Remember a stake though the Heart of anything is likely to kill it! Just because you are Vampyric does not mean you have an Immortal physical body that is incapable of seeing death. Please don't push your luck on this matter you don't want to find out first hand or by the hands of a Real Slayer.
12. Learn how to use your gift/s you may find that there is great potential in doing so. You are what you are for a reason with this comes resposibility so Respect that fact and use caution in your actions. The ones that make mistakes sometimes find theirselves in a jail cell or a padded rooms!!!
13. Do your best to keep safe others of the Vampyric Community, Members of the HSG House, Donors, and Black Swans that you know because they should be doing the same.We are a Family, Family protects Family. This doesn't mean go out there and purposely do something stupid so you can hide behind one of us. If there is a problem do inform an Elder/s as soon as possible for the just in case situations and advise this may prevent the same problem from occuring again.
14. Remember HSG is not the only Vampyric House out there so don't go picking any fights with other Houses, Orders, Temples, Courts etc. of the Vampyric Community (or their Members) or get your Egos too big. We should alway strive to do our best to come to a Mutual Respect of each others ways of doing things. There can always be valuable lessons learned by doing this and it keeps things on a Peaceful note.
15. Each City, and State you may travel to has it's own different set of rules, it may have a completely different hiearchy structure than you may be use to, and different Codes of Conduct within the Vampyric Community found there. Do you best to follow the rules so you will be welcomed there again, but remember to abide by these Codes of Ethics first. Let the Elder/s know if there is any conflicts on this matter and advise of anything that may need to be known. They might just have a better way of saying or doing things. One should always grow and never stagnate.
16. Although this is a Public site and you may gain Ezboard Membership via this Board there are Private Active HSG Memberships available. You will not find a Join button for the Active Membership and not all will be asked to be a part of the Active HSG Membership. Conduct yourself on your best behavior so this could be available to you in the Future.
17. House business is House Business; Personal business is Personal Business ..Refer to Rule # 5. Combining the two can be tricky. Personal issues in House Business with not be tolerated..If You have a problem with one or more person/s in the House then deal with it discreetly and privately. This is not anyone's personal battleground or Drama center ..Please keep it as such or you may be Banned from the site !
18. This is a Family you must remember that always!!!
