Have you ever secretly wondered how you would have reacted if you were in Muhammad's place in that darkened cave of Hira? Have you ever stopped to imagine the fear that must have gripped him at that first encounter with Gabriel? How would you have acted? What would you have said? Given the fear of the first encounter would you have ventured forth the following day? Would you have returned to the same cave for meditation? Would you have had the strength or desire to continue and wage an uphill battle for the rest of your life to bring the truth to light?
