Heaven and Hell Finished
Heaven and Hell- Chapter one - The War of the Clouds
as told by Rasciel
God stared across the vast blankness of space with a frown. He stood in a area of pure darkness and nothing. Behind him stood thrity beings. Each one a loyal and trusted advisor of the one called God. His right hand was named Lucifer, his loyal friend and closest to any in the heavens. And so, God stated, "Let there be light."
Yeah, we all know that part, but what happened next is the story of my brothers and sisters. We are the original thirty that stood behind God in his creation of the universe. This is on day five, but in the heavens this is actually the fifth eon. We listened to all his ideas about life, and agreed with him about it....until he started talking about humans. We didn't like the idea of bowing to such weak creastures. So, there came "the Meeting." It was just four of us. Three seriphims, Lucifer the Leader, Azarel the Destroyer, and Lusciel the Temptress, and one Cherub, Me, Rasciel the Betrayer.
"So, we are in agreement? This is not to happen?" Lucifer began as he scaned the faces of those that would soon be his generals. He was dressed in a simple white robe of soft linnen and his six wings of brilliant white shone in the light of the heavens.
All three nodded. Two were dressed in a simular style to Lucifer. One was a tall male that was dressed exactly the same with longer and darker hair, Azarel. The other was dressed in a tighter robe that hid all but left nothing to the imagination. Her hair was a shimering blonde and tied in a simple ponytail. The last one was dressed in pure white steel armor. He carried a large long sword and stood like a soilder. He was a Cherub, the guardians of heaven and he had long hair also. It was he who spoke next.
"The lesser join with him. They slither there way into the gaps that we didn't fill when we dissagreed. Now, they wisper of trying to go to war with us to see who is more right. I say we don't let that happen. I have ten Cherub ready to fight along side us as they stood with us in the begining. I have more then that willing to join our cause." is what I said that faithful day.
"That would split the Choir in half. Some support the idea that we are the superior ones and should be looked at in fear and awe by the mortals. The others suport God's will that we should bow before them at the gates." was Lasciel's response.
"I think that if they want a war with us, they should have remembered that, although they outnumber us, we came first. We are the ones that were here when He made this place and we will be the last to leave. We stand by you, Lucifer. We are yours to command." Azarel said.
Lucifer pondered long and hard about it.
Chapter 2- The War of the Roses
Lucifer had decided to take action. He gathered his forces of belivers like us. A army was formed from the heavens. Members of the elemental forces joined us and took to the battleground.
First came the Angelics. There were members of each of the choirs. The Cherubs were the most nemerous, so they were put under my command. Each of us was a expert on combat and we all weilded our own weapons. Sword and sheild, bow and arrow, axe and hammer, everyone had there preferance. The next were the Seripums. They numbered almost as greatly. They were under the command of Azarel. The elemntals of all the plains were under Lasciel, and she did a great job at it. Each of us were given 9 other of the originaly thirty to spread through our ranks as our voices.
On the other side was, what we now call, the "loyalists." They were the warriors of God, and were far more in numbers of the weaker angels, but they outnumbered us and our allies by almost a two fold. God then made a group of knights. "The Lassciner Knights" he called them. There was thirteen of them. They were put in charge of the "loyalists" and each member was a expert at hevenly combat. They were his ace in the whole.
The war lasted for many years, we had the upper hand for the first half because we were mobile. Once they found where we were hidden, they were always a step behind. We moved and hit the armies, but in the end, we needed a final victory. So, just like any mortal army, we staged a vast offensive. We wanted to end this war and show God who the true loyalists were. We didn't know about the exisitance of the Knights though and were unexpected of there true power.
The knights were spread through the battle. Each of us had to take the feild because, in the end, they had cut down the original thirty to a mere seven. Outnumbered and out gunned, we had no choice but to fight ourselves. The battle was called off so we could meet these original "knights of the templar. on the feild. Messeges were sent and lines were drawn as Lucifer, Azarel, Lasciel myself and the remainder stood oposet of them. They had us at a two to one disadvantage. We knew that this would be the final battle.
Chapter 3- The Lassciner Knights vs. the last of The Fallen of the Morning Star
So, here is where our story finds us. We were outnumbered against a force that was made to counter our power. Lucifer stood in his battle armor now. He had a sword buckled to his hip and stood with a pride that rivled all of us. Behind him stood his Fallen of the Morning Star. We were dressed in a simular style yet each of us had a distinguishing part. Lasciel welded her Scourge, a multi-barbed whip with razor sharp bits of metal on those bits. Azarel had no chest plate and weilded a giant two handed sword of fire. I was dressed in my original armor with a twist. Every part of it was striped in blood of the angels that had fallen before my might. I had with me my trusted twin short swords.
The Knights were all the same. They all had shining metal armor of the heavens and all weilded a sword of white flame. They all were stood evenly behind there leader. A being they called Raphel. They were the first to move. Each of them paired up with another and stood at the exact mirror of their target Fallen. I had drawn the two of the feircest. Jaxahin, a Knight of avrage height and slim build with long blonde hair, and Tranin, a moving wall of pure muscle stuffed into a suit of armor. With a unspoken signal, they attacked.
We held our own for a bit, five of the Knights fell not long before we lost our advantage. Two of our members were slain and those knights joined in against the others. Soon after, another one was cut down and now, the original four were up against a three on one fight for our lives. We had a advantage for a bit, but then, something unexpected happened. "He" took the field. God himself joined us in nothing more then a robe of silken white.
Overcome with a sense of awe, we all bowed, just like we always did. He walked right up to Lucifer and laid a hand on his head.
"My son, Lucifer. That is enough. I will not watch as you butcher those that are your brothers and sisters. You don't wish to bow to the mortals, so you shall not. However, you will never again step one foot upon this place. Take your folowers and go, I have prepared a place for you to live from now on."
Chapter 4- The birth of Hell and our way out
Yeah, some place he gave us is right. All that was there was a black whole of nothingness. We were the rullers of nothingness. For a few years, it stayed that way, till the first mortal's spirit fell into our laps. He was frightened, he had been told that, waiting for him in the afterlife, was a pit of dispair. Fire and skeletal beings tortured the mortals for fun. And with those few words, Hell was born. The fire became our rivers, the dead our beaches and trees. The skeltal beings tortured and the deamons were raised to provide the fear. For almost a eon, there was a fun in this, but we were always looking for a way to go home. So, we sought our way out and then came our puppet.
Judas was week willed. I came to him one night with Lasciel in tow. I told him that Jesus was not the son of god, but a simple carpetner born in a stable. He was easy to twist. I let Lasciel do the tempting while I gave him the plan, and he took it all. He liked everything I told him, mostly because I told him that if he did as we asked, Lasciel would be his in heaven and she gave him a sample of her good work. We never spoke to him again. He did as he was asked, and he even gave us a way out.
You see, suicide is a mortal sin. When someone commits a mortal sin and dies from it, we are required to obtain his soul. When he hung himself however, he had his thirty peices of silver with him. Figuring this out for ourselves, the Fallen of the Morning Star went in numbers to great him. He saw us and begged for another chance....and who were we to say no. We gave him eternal life. We watched as the rope broke as he was near death, and gave him a taste for human blood in order to sustain himself. We made him one of the first stalkers of darkness. You see, there was another that was cursed by God, not more then a few hours later. He was the Roman who pierced his son's side with the spear and a drop of blood landed on his lips. Both were cursed to the night and both were given a taste of blood. They were the original nosforatu.
That is another story for another time though. As we watched him walk into the darkness, we all possesed a single one of the coins. We then were spread into the world. I watched and waited in my eternal sleep till a being awoke my slumber. His name was Maevis Pas.
The rest, well, you know where to find it.
