Here are my first & feeble attempts. Please critique!
My favorite so far (still looking for a great classic shape to call my own). Made from some kind of sweetgum tree, I think.

A platter made from a burl I found lying on the ground in the backyard when we moved into a new house. I have no idea which tree it came from.

A heavy Ash bowl.

An urn/bowl from worm-ridden Pecan.

thanks,
Wayne

Hey Wayne -

That first bowl is sweet. Nice work there. All of the pieces look good, but that one really grabbed me.

I liked your pieces, Wayne. My favorite of them is the wormy Pecan urn/bowl. What finish did you use on it?

Just carnauba wax. Pecan turns a great color when waxed.
