Hi Everyone
I hope to make this a FUN place for us scrapbookers to get together and chat about scrapbooking, stamping or just life in general. I have been scrapbooking now for almost 4 years, and have to date no completed albums. My daughter was 9 years old when I started so I have alot of catching up to do yet. Happy scrappen and if you have any questions reguarding the board please just email me or post here.

Re: Hi Everyone
Hi Tammy! Thanks for starting this message board! I love your website too! I am also a fellow Minnesotan, so I really appreciate you listing all the Minnesotan scrapbook stores! I live right by Binding Memories, so that's where I usually go. Just wanted to say "hi" and thanks again! Sherrill :)

Hi Sherill,
I live right down the road from binding memories too, I was just there 2 times in the past week, I have to go back up there and get some white paper sometime this weekend. I am glad you joined the message board:) Have you been out to Catch a Falling star at all, thats a drive from us, I was thinking on venturing out that way to see if they have anything new.
Tammy

PS. Janice if you read this I think I somehow deleted your message on accident I did respond to you, then all of the sudden it was gone, sorry you can repost your intro if you want.

Re: Hi Everyone
Tammy,

That is so funny that you've been to Binding Memories twice this week! So have I! I was there on Monday and Wednesday! I feel like I live there. I really like the store and the owner, Cynthia, and the other people that work there are really nice, but they definitely need a bigger space for their store! I know they said there's nothing available in Har Mar, so that's why they haven't moved, but it's so hard to go in there and be able to look at everything. So, when it's crowded, it's no fun. I have never been to the other store you mentioned - is that in Maple Grove? I have been to Creative You in Brooklyn Park, and I really liked it. They had different things than Binding Memories, but not nearly as much. Let me know what you think of the other one if you go! There's one in Eagan I'd like to try sometime too! Have a great weekend and I'll probably see you at Binding Memories next week without even knowing it! Sherrill

Re: Hi Everyone
Hi Sherrill,
I was at Binding Memories 2 times this week again:) They sure do need to move they are so packed in that its hard to look at things, but its close and I do like them the best Cynthia is so sweet. I cant believe she has 8 daughters:) Catch a Falling Star is a nice store BIG they have a large variety of goodies, I have found some hard to find things at their store, the other one in Egan Scrapbooks lTD or whatever its called is pretty small, they have some hard to find goodies like paper and stickers, brass templates, the mark up there is pretty high, it doesnt stop me from going though, but you gotta watch what you buy :) ! Do you stamp at all? Neither of the stores that I mentioned have any stamps so if your a stamper you wont find any stampen goodies there. Past and Present in Maple Grove is good they have a large variety of everything, have you been to that one yet? They seem like they are starting to carry more stampen type stuff, I was there last week or the week before and found some goodies, now to get some pages done thats another story:) How long have you been scrappen? I was just at Binding Memories last night looking for the new CK, they didnt have it in yet, let me know if you get there before I do if you see it:)

Re: Hi Everyone
Tammy,

I finally got the new CK in the mail on Thursday, but when I was at Binding Memories on Wed., they didn't have it yet. Where is Catch a Falling Star? I was at my cabin over the weekend and there's a store in Pequot Lakes called "Sweets and Treats" that started carrying some things last year, but I went in there on Sunday and she's made scrapbooking stuff half her store now! It's good to know I have a store close to my cabin now too! It's so funny - I love to collect all this stuff, but I can't remember the last time I did a page! I have so much stuff now that I don't know where to begin!

The first time I did stamping was for my Christmas cards last year and I decided it's too expensive, after investing quite a bit of money into the stamps and pads, etc. So, now I just use clipart, color it with watercolor pencils and it looks pretty good. So, now I'll have to try Past & Present and the store in Eagan too! I know what you mean about Binding Memories being so crowded. They've got lots of great stuff - it's just hard to find it!

Do you have any kids? I have a daughter who's 13. She's a 7th grader at Roseville Middle School. We're in the Roseville district, but we actually live in Maplewood. Keep me updated about all the new stores you try! Good luck getting your new CK! Sherrill

Hi Sherril,
Ut oh a store close to your cabin ha! hee-hee:) Catch A falling Star is in Eden Prarie I think, quite the drive from us, I have not been out there for awhile, so I should plan to go one of these days. I know I keep buying up all this stuff or should I say collecting and I havent got a page done in quite awhile. Hopefully I will sit down one of these days and get busy and catch up. I did get the new CK one day last week at Past & Present, I still need to sit and really look it over and see if there is anything good to get some ideas from. I need some inspiration over here:)
I also have a 13 year old daughter 7th grader, she goes to high view middle school. The teenage years are FUN arent they hee-hee:) Tammy

Re: Hi Everyone
Hey girls,

I did a search and am glad I found another scrapbook forum on ezboard!! :D
I love EZBOARD. I think its the best bulletin board around! Anyway, I have been scrappin for over 3½ years and totally love it! I only wish I had more time to do my own albums than my family members (like my dad for instance!)

I have 2 boys, jonathan 3½ and jordan 8 mos. old. I have yet to complete both albums for the boys :(
BUT IT WILL GET DONE :lol

Anyway, glad to have found this board!

Re: Hi Everyone
I can't believe you all live in Minnesota! Me too! I live in Ham Lake, up north - well for me it is up north. I love the Archivers stores, especially the one in Roseville. Have you visited them? Stay in touch. Jennifer G.
