It is fantastic but i dont think they really got deep into the thing about chris being gay. it was kinda, they suspected him, he tried to kiss seb, ran away , they all realised they had been nasty to chris and made up and lived happily ever after. swept under the carpet in less than two weeks.

"Home & Away" is an Aussie series, which started absolutely YONKS ago now (late Eighties, I think) with Tom & Pippa Fletcher moving into this little Aussie town called Summer Bay, to open a house with adopted kids.
Then it spread to include townies as well, esp. the local school, diner, & beach cafe.
Now it's just a general soap, baed mainly round the kids from hither and thither living in Summer Bay.
I agree that their first gay storyline was a bit short 'n sweet; "Nick" went in the ultimate ep. from saying "I don't know why I dislike him" to "Sorry, I always get aggressive when I feel threatened" barely twenty minutes later! (Before whipping his shirt off and leaping into "Chris'" arms, mind you - would that all potential homophobes would convert so easily!).
But at least it was a start, and handled more or less how we would like to see it handled. And you never know, "Chris" may return later...

Hey PreciousYouAre, yeh Richfly is right Home & Away is an Aussie show that started in the 80's, it's what's called a Soap Opera, we r mad for them here in the UK.
Home & Away was originally broadcast on ITV here in the UK(which has now changed to ITV1), it then went off air due to falling viewing numbers at it's primetime slot of 5pm. It has since came back to our screens at a new time on Channel 5.

I lurveee Home & Away again, I used t always watch it on ITV but have only recently started watchin it properly again on Ch5!
