Ignorance is a virtue...

Well, I suppose by writing this I'm pin-pointing myself as one of the worst (if not the worst) people about this whole thing. I've probably gone against everything you've said, tried to point out some key things and have probably rolled my eyes the whole way through, and I wouldn't take it back for a second. Some of us have been childish, while others have been secretive. Really, I don't think one person in that damn chatroom doesn't know how I feel when something comes up. So, why are all the anti-Itami sentiments coming up. Well, here you are:

I'd have to say that's the biggest reason. Yes, it's in writing, you do have the power to do whatever you want. But really, think about that for a second. About half the nations of the world are based off a totalitarian style government. These countries are ravaged with ruthless law and more than inhumain judgement for breaking these idiotic laws. The citizens are not pleased with the conditions they live in, so what do they do? Most attempt to become refugees and get deported to another country. Why? Because their country sucks! But what countries don't suck? Mostly, democratic ones. For some reason democracy has made countries floorish under the right leaders, and even keep par with those that are not so compitent. Bottom line, democracy seems to work better than a totalitarian.

Now, why do I point this out? Well, it seems to me that our board has been working on the premis of being a more democratic one, including input of the members when something goes down. The board has changed, yet you have not. The most frustrating part is, you seem to be bent on ignoring that fact. We all truely enjoyed your triumphant return, especially in a time where the ability to do certain functions on the board were lacking, but that's just it. We didn't need all of this "board wide defrag" stuff. Really, we needed someone who could push a couple buttons we as moderators and students can't quite reach. So, my question to you is simply, why?
