Ikkinz 1 group trial 3
So how have you guys beaten this trial so far?
Best we done so far is had war go def on first flesh hunter, both rogues duelist.. we dropped it.. then we relogged because for some reason it seems that the aggro from first flesh hunter transferred to second and healers get summoned immediately...then the second dropped our tank after not very long~
arrows from the hexxt are easy to avoid on the caster w/ positioning
grp makeup was: clr dru war rog rog enc.... enc seemed useless was thinking about swapping in a 2nd cle~
With the warrior defensive and druid/cleric healing you should be able to kill the flesh hunters np. Just make sure warrior taunts well before damaging the second and third ones in case healers built up aggro.
Target's target leadership window is useful for checking what the mob has aggro before engaging Edited by: Dove Whispersilk at: 4/17/04 4:31 am

I think the way that we did it was have the clear out the room of the mobile mobs first, and then have a cleric DA, run down to the back right, get the attention of all the mobs there, run into the middle, then run into the back left corner. This puts the cleric on the aggro list right away. Then have everyone else go down to the back left and when ready, start on the first archer guy. Keep your healers out of LoS and you won't get pelted by arrows...something like that anyway, I was along for the ride and not really an intregral part of the strategy at that point = )
Re: Ikkinz 1 group trial 3
your healers got aggro because the other mobs are rooted, with large aggro range, so all the hate built up from healing your MT on the first one was on the 2nd one,.
Re: Ikkinz 1 group trial 3
let the warrior incite and build up aggro before charging. If you don't have HoTT leader ability, assist the mob to see when the warrior has aggro.

If you have the faster AE taunt maxed you can just wait 10 minutes 30 seconds until AE Taunt is up. You should at least wait for Evasive/Defensive to refresh anyway so it's not as long as it seems.

Healers having agro of the rooted ranger trash is okay so long as they keep behind walls, just need to make sure they dont get summoned by the main guy when your tank engages it. Healers having agro of the additional rangers is prefered cause then no one is taking that extra damage if your healers are positioned properly.

Is the 2nd one easier than the first Flesh Hunter, and the 3rd Flesh Hunter one easier than the 2nd?

Re: Ikkinz 1 group trial 3
First name hits like a wuss like 50 60 ?? but u have to consider all archers hitting on the main tank...if u didnt use the above methods
2nd name hits abt 1k+? but then again, u got less adds to dmg on ur MT...
if u can win 1st n 2nd..u kinda got it covered for the 3rd)
take note though they do res their comrades after 20-30mins or so..roughly
Do they buff themselves? Seemed all the named were hitting in the 1k's, and if so can they be annuled? Is the leftmost mob the "light hitting one?" Thank you im advance.

First mob (nearest the far door from room entrance) is fire immune. Second mob is magic immune and third mob is cold immune. They are rooted and unslowable. DS stack the first mob (potion, innate, clicky skin, dain ring, SotW and bard if you have it). Furious then defensive and heal like there's no tomorrow. Because if the mob rolls well on his hits, you'll be back tomorrow. ATK debuff the bejeezus out of the second and third mobs. Furious and SotW won't be up. Go defensive and heal like there's no tomorrow for reasons stated earlier.
P.S.
druid/cleric will be cutting it close. Better to have druid/cleric/shaman for the hp buffs as well as the extra heal margin. Or stack dps on top of dps to shorten the fight. Damage shield dps is worth about 1.5 * DS on these mobs. So if you can stack 100 DS up on your warrior, you will get a free 150 dps.
