June 1st - June 19th
It's almost summer! The last few weeks of school have come, and students will need to study hard for their final exams! Don't let up yet, or your grades won't be what you want them to. Of course, the weather is almost perfect and pristine, in attempts to lure students away from their studies.
I'm Sorry (An Extended Break)
As some of you might know, my step-dad Luke, the man who's really been my father since I was ten, has cancer. It started in his colon and is now in his lungs. We knew he was terminal as soon as we found out, which was in November last year. Now it seems he's reaching the end of the road. A week ago we were hoping for two months at least. But his Mum and Dad flew over from Sydney and needed to know how long he had (we never actually asked the doctors), and he said about two weeks or less. As I found out last night, he could be gone at the end of this week.
Understandably I won’t be roleplaying anytime soon. This kind of shit really doesn’t help with your muse. So please excuse me for the next couple of months. I’ll lingering around, but no threads or involvement in plots like that. Please know I’m still here, just not fully. Sorry, and see you around.
Oh god, Clare...I'm so sorry. Don't worry about ANDHC at all. In times like these something like a roleplay board isn't important at all. My best wishes are out for you and your family. I hope well for all of you.
