Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

In the Forest of. . .
Noon time all over again, the sun was out and not a cloud in the sky to ruin this day - the cool breeze of winter's end still possesed it's bitter bite. Akai came to the forest for the same reason he always goes comes to obscure places - just to be alone, just to clear his thoughts.
The lowest branch of a tree in the beginning of the pathway into the forect is where he was, the path way Amber showed him to her clearing where she practiced her Tai-Chi. One leg was drawn up into his chest, where his cheek was place against it, the curtian of jet black hair conseals the facial expressions, fingers interlaced into one another (one set bandaged, one set not) and keeps the leg steady.
Half on, half not -- the other leg dangles from the branch - his balance, perfect.

Itami had never been to the forest that shared her name. A coincidence, of course, but a long time ago she had been a very important ... entity? Now she wasn't even known. Not that it bothered her. She had met A LOT of new people. She smiled as she took in all that was around her. This forest didn't look as forboding as she thought it would. Although she hadn't even entered the actual forest yet.
But she hadn't come to the forest just to say that she had. She, like Akai, had a motive. She knew should could only deal with the problem at hand on her own.
She walked in, not sure of what she would find.

She came to forest for her own purpose, her own reasons, her own motive that drew her towards the expansive foliage that lay before them both. Unexpecting of what to find, she may have stepped on a twig or some dead leaves fallen from winter's sharp tooth that shaved the trees -- this is what disturbed him, awoken him. The pressing off cheek against the length of a thigh was no more, head lifting up with a perked interest in the sound. Fingers clasped the branch and trunk of the tree respectively as those pale blue eyes turned down to cast his gaze upon her.
Half lidded eyes peared through the veil of dark hair, watching her enter into the forest, streams of sunlight break through the tree line and light up the forest floor. A simple jump, drop, or fall -- regardless of which one, it was all the same means to an end. Akai was now standing upon the ground, the same floor of the forest she stood on, watching her, curiously.
He wore a jacket, a furred hood --lion's mane golden-- was pulled down, black leather comprised the body of the jacket -- it nothing more than bomber with a lion's mane hood. Fur touched to his cheeks, while those frozen casted eyes touched to her own body.

It didn't take Itami long to realize that their was someone she'd had never seen before, standing before her. She smiled as she continued to move closer to him. Not once had she removed her eyes from him. On any normal day she would have continued on her way, not approaching the stranger. But today, today was different, for reasons that were unknown, even to her.
She did her best to size the guy up, but she knew, better than anyone, that looks could be deceiving. Her eyes fell to his bandaged right arm, Apparently, he's been in a fight... she thought. Her smile faded a bit. "Did I disturb you?" She spoke up, she wasn't about to introduce herself, especially when the only thing she could do was assume what this guys purpose is. Even though she hadn't been around the school for about two years, she had a good feeling that the person standing before her was younger than her. Not that it mattered, but, it calmed her a bit to know...or think she knew.

Age was nothing more than a number to him, his intellect was beyond his years, his body was developed more under, though his height [average japanese teenage boy] and the coat he wore, made it deceiving to fully size him up. The only thing solid that her eyes could pick up on, was his beauty - for a a young a boy -- he was near flawless.
Jet black bangs lay over the right half of his face, consealing the right half of his features. His head was slightly canted to the left, those bandaged fingers moved to brush back a few strands, his lips part to speak to her. "No, I just thought that I had the forest to myself. . .silly of me to think of such a thing, a such a vast stretch of land all to myself." A smile, charismatic and charming -- to say the least.
Arms folded themselves over his stomach, almost a self-hug type move as the fingers lay hidden the expanse of his jacket.

As he spoke, Itami smiled. To her, he seemed so pure, so inviting. Thus the reason she lowered her guard. She took a step forward and slightly bowed, her way of apologizing for intruding. ”ごめんなさい” (Gomennasai - I beg your pardon, excuse me, sorry) She whispered, surprising even herself. It had been so long since she had spoken Japanese, as it escaped her lips her nose turned up a bit, but soon the soft smile had returned to her angelic face.
"The forest is so broad," she started, looking around a bit, "That one could easily forget that others are around..." It was only after she said it, did she realize that she had echo-ed him. The smile on her face brightened for only a moment, and was soon back to its original state.
She was wearing the clothing any normal teen would wear on a lovely spring afternoon, a pair of flare jeans and a low cut baby tee. She looked down at her blue hightop jogger gymshoes. "I suppose he's okay to talk to...." she thought,"Maybe I'll start a conversation..." She looked back up, "So, are you familiar with this forest? Do you come here often?"

She dressed for the spring, in the average, cute, teenage girl kinda way. The bady tee coupled with those low cut flare jeans. . .it calls at everything that makes him a red blooded teen. The pale blue eyes slip over the exposed flesh in swoop to the ground, then back up towards her eyes -- it was almost as if looking into a mirror, that soft pale blue shimmering within the light was much like his own. His were cold, almost like a glacial mass floating in the far north Artic Oceans, thats what seperated one set, from the other.
"Eh, Doushita no?" [What's the matter?] With a brow raised, he waved off her unwanted apology. Underneathe the black leather jacket was a simple white-T, black cargo pants to match those boots and jacket. Those bandaged fingers moved, hiding away in the recesses of deep pockets, the flesh exposed fingers hang idly while a thumb hooks into a belt loop.
"I know it well enough to get in and get out--" A shrug of his shoulder were to follow his words and it did. Relaxed, it was more than apperant in the lazy mannerism, the dull tone of his voice, and slow gait in his walk -- two steps were taken to the side after she had decided to draw in closer. A pause, a moment, a beat in time skips as his head canted to the side, the raven feathers of hair slipped to the side -- reveal a little more of his face into the light, that smooth even toned complextion was kissed by the sun. "--But what is your name?" That mild curiousity creeping up out of him.

She approached no further as he took two steps to the side. She wasn't sure if it was because he was uncomfortable or because he was Japanese. But to her that was one in the same. She smiled to herself. It had been so long since she thought in the traditional Japanese way. It made her a little homesick for her homeland even though she was tied to Japan, for reasons she couldn't recall.
She looked around nodding, "It reminds me a little of home...," she said softly not completely ignoring his question, however not answering it right away. She slowly made a 360 degree turn, taking all the nature in, then faced him once again. "You are going to find this a little weird," she was giggling now as she leaned in, "But..." she stopped dramatically, fixed her posture and nodded matter-of-factly. "いたみともうします。はじめまして。(Itami to moushimasu. Hajimemashite. - I am Itami - very polite way to say this. And the second part is pleased to meet you.) She bowed again winking at him, "おなまえは？"(Onamae wa? - What is your name?)
Her first impression had changed. She realized that she had no reason to worry, because not all people attack first and ask questions later. She smiled again, thinking of Kasaki knowing that she had been around her for too longer. Her view of people had changed because of her wild roommate, and because of this she almost lost her chance at meeting someone new, someone that seemed a bit saner.

She seemed almost bashful, in that cute way. But Akai, seemed distant, detached, a void lays somewhere inside of him, those powder blue were almost hollow (almost), and as cold as the winter that just past.
A crisp breeze, riding through the leaves of the trees, leaves that have returned from a their hiatus from the bitter cold. The breeze looped, danced, and twirled down and around his form, rippling through the raven feathered hair splayed across soft cheeks, in one moment the full complexation was revealed -- the next, it was wasn't.
To her question, her inquery of his name -- came the soft spoken words "Yagami Akai" true to form, his family's name was spoken first, and then back to the task at hand. . ."..home?" That brow raises up, his body stand motionless, save for breathing.

"Home..." she started, "Yes, home." Nodding she took a step to the side. "I haven't been there in a very long time." She was moving around now, swinging her arms and shifting her weight, but not in a way that would be seen as bothersome.
"The Aibo clan died off a long time ago..." Her voice did not betray her, she did not look, nor sound sad. "So, I guess you could say that I really don't have a home." Her smile faded as she looked directly at Akai and asked, "Do you have some place to go back to...?"

She was animated, unlike him - standing tall and silent as she spoke, his eyes never lifted from the young girl as she moved. "I don't mind. . ." A shimmer of light, glazed over those powder blue eyes like a white hot streak of lighting.
"I have a place to go back to--" Eye contact, the arc of his head canted to the side as he towards the direction he would travel to go that place, watching for just a slight moment, just a hesitant second. "--but I wouldn't call it home either." Born in a lab, but that wasn't home either - and his heart wasn't attached to any particular place, so in kind, just like her -- Akai has no place he really calls home.

He looked back to Itami, watching her with that intense gaze -- it's was a weighty thing, something that takes getting used to. So grave."The Yagami clan has dwindled in numbers. . .my mother tells me that I am the only hope for us to have another generation." A shrug rolled from those wide set shoulders and it was done in lazy motion.

Itami smiled. She was glad that she had met someone new. A kind someone who wasn't crazy... or at least hadn't proved himself crazy as of yet. Her fingers were linked behind her back, her eyes full of light and kindness.
"Well," she started, her smile shone brighter. "It seems that we are twins..." She winked and shifted her weight once again. That idea pleased her ways that even she couldn't understand. But maybe it wasn't Itami that it was actually pleasing. (I smell an SL! XD)
Itami had been content with everything thus far, but his gaze, so cold, had made her a bit uneasy... She did what she could to not show discomfort, then she comprehened his words. And it had become all too clear as to why he looked at her the way he did. "I see..." she said slowly, nodding. Again, her smile was bright. "At least you have something to save." This time her eyes gave her away. Taking a deep breath she decided to offer help. "Well, I don't know anything about what is happening to you and your family... but if you need assistance.. I am here."

Akai didn't flinch, he didn't smile nor did he nod in accordance with her words -- there was only one response that fit the situation, that was his words. The tone of his voice was always a dark, like the heart of a glacier. ". . .I suppose so. . ." Simple and to the point, he wasn't one for long drawn out speeches or monlogueish response. Keep it short, keep it consise.
Then Itami offered her assitance to him, she will do what she can. . .Eyes go wide -- pause -- he was as silent as the grave, as stirless as the dead, and the only response that came from those lips was "ummmm. . ." Silence again, his hands fidget at his side, gripping at belt loops, then at playing with the pockets until finally shifting down into the deep trenches of his pockets.
Those blue turned away from her, looking through the ceiling of trees above head, looking for guidance, looking for assurance, looking for the right words to say to her, searching a proper response to the kindness she offered. . .". . .thanks."
Slightly embarrassed, when his head was lowered down, it went all to the forest floor -- those eyes hidden with the inclination of his head, dark tresses of hait conseal the features of his face like a protecting cloak, never beytraying his true emotions.

It was the first time that she had ever seen him move so much. She had wondered if she had said the wrong thing to him. She smiled again, "No problem" she replied to his thanks. She chuckled softly as he seemed to look down at the forest floor. She croutched down and looked up at him, menuvering herself, so she could see his face, at least a bit of it.
"Should I have not offered?" She asked, her voice full of consern. Itami was very adept at figuring people out. However, this was just her making sure that she didn't say anything that she shouldn't have.
Instead of waiting for his reply, she quickly changed the subject. "So," she started as she desparately searched for something to talk about. She looked past him at the treetops. "These are some pretty high trees..." she nodded, as she stood. "Really tall..." She smiled brightly, know that she sounded odd, but not really caring.

The conversation being switched, changed so quick, avoided for best -- for now. Akai went along with it, she spoke of tree tops, guiding his eyes back to the ceiling of the forest, some trees were tight in formation, branches from one tree to another interconnect with nieghboring trees and then there are others -- where they give way to the sun light, a small clearing, a path way to the sky.
"Do you wish to see above them. . .?"
The distance between them, or whatever was left between them was now gone -- a few steps, and his chest nearly brushed up against her own, his arms nearly touched to her own, the proximity -- perhaps to close, perhaps not. "The skyline, the view of the school in the horizon, its something that I think all should be able to see. . ." His voice, with him standing so close to her, was almost a whisper of words, soft spoken tones mingle with the breeze and sweep the through the air to be carried to her ear.

Itami found it strange that he had asked her if she wanted to see the top of the trees. She really didn't know if she was really supposed to answer it. But that was quickly answered as he continued to talk about the skyline. She nodded slowly.
"It sounds beautiful..." She looked at him, "how many times have you seen it?" She looked up again and decided that the skyline was a sight that she wanted to see. "Because you speak so highly of it," She smiled, "I want to see it too."
The distance between them was almost nonexistant, but it didn't bother her one bit. She just smiled, thinking of it as progress. They had started out so far away, and now, they were almost one... She had confused herself with that last thought. She wasn't exactly sure what she ment by it. So she decided that that is one of the things that she wouldn't vocalize.

A nod of accordance, a nod of assurance -- In one swift motion she can feel the intense power that resides in, a physical touch came, his arms wrapping around her body and with the ease of a bird taking flight, they were ascending into the air -- Akai twisted, and turned as the sky became more clear, the tree branches parted and the two -- who had nearly become one -- broke through to the top to the trees.
The sun casted its warm glowing light down upon them, finding sure footing was an easy task, Akai had done this numerous amounts of time since his time here at MHS, finding a sweet spot at the top of a tree was almost second nature to him, one unfurled itself from around her, it would direct her eyes to the right direction, guide to look over into the horizon, his blue, blue eyes looked, watching the school in the distance, and that is where a finger pointed towards.
"Beautiful eh?" Almost a breathless whisper, spoken through a sharp rasp of voice -- a breath being taken away from the mid-day view of the horizon.

As he lifted her up, she gasped. She was sure that if she just tried that she could do it on her own, but she wouldn't tell him that either. As they ascended she smiled and closed her eyes. Not in fear, but in euphoria.
As they reached the top her eyes slowly opened and what she saw was more beautiful than anything she had ever remembered seeing. She followed his finger to what she was to look at and took in a deep breath. "Yes..." she replied just as softly, "It's beautiful..."
She stood staring into the distance silently. She was silent for so long that one would think that she had lost her voice. Upon finding it again she said, "I can only imagine how it would look as the sun set...." She turned her head so that she could look at him and smiled. "Thank you." she said sincerely, then turned her head to enjoy the view once more.

Akai did not stare off into the distance, his eyes remained fixated on Itami (lady of the forest) those words, echoing the inner thoughts, feelings, and raw emotion he feels when he comes to forest and take in the view. A deep inhale of the pure forest air filled lungs that seem all to deprived of the precious life giving oxygen. (breathless)
"I want you to remember this moment. . . "
The soft peddle breeze of wind caresses the skin with its soft kiss, a slight chill in the chill as the wind comes from the direction of the lake, bringing with it the scent of flowers that grow on the close the eastern shore line, a scent that provokes Akai to look off into the yonder towards the lake, watching in rememberance as his soft spoken pierce his silence. ". . .always carry with you, the memory of this wind."
His chest brushed up against her shoulder (silk flirts with steel) how close he was to her and she to him, instincts provoke him to look upon her again, breath stolen away, a moment of thoughtfulness fogoten, replaced with a feeling not to foreign, yet not to familiar as well. (longing)
