Interesting rumor

I call it a rumor because it's third hand. I was at the annual St. Thomas & District Fastball All Star game last week and had a conversation with a gentleman, that I trust completely. A few days earlier he was talking to an executive member of the Knights booster club who said that the Knights had been sold. No buyer was mentioned. Part of the deal was that Mark and Dale had to stay on for five years. This adds light to an earlier rumor that Global Spectrum had offered the Hunters 18 million for the team. Maybe Spectrum felt they could recoup a lot of their investment with the Hunters running the club. This also explains Dale's promise to Gagner that he would be behind the bench if he reported to the Knights.
My question is, if this is true, why no announcement in the media? Could they be waiting to add more splash to the kick-off of the new season? Or was that booster club member hallucinating from the heat

It "could" be true. Anything could be true. It could be true that Otto had vowed to never drink a 50 again but we all know that it ain't gonna happen.
I just don't see what benefit it is to the Hunters to sell the team BUT remain at the helm. If they were going to sell, they would leave and buy another team or join a NHL team.
Like Otto said, I won't believe this until it is released to the media. If it never is, then we know it is not true.

Actually Matt,
Get the rumor correct before you spread things. Otto is moving to Quebec where he can drink 50 Lite. The only place to offer this product. What he doesn't know is that 50 Lite was only served for a very short period of time and Quebec was the testing ground, as it next to London is the only place the sells vast quantities of the beer. Did I just say titties? Oh lord now that Hooters rumor will spread like wildfire. Hopefully Peter doesn't find out about it

Just to get the record straight .. I will never EVER drink lite beer! 
And I have'nt given it up altogether , just limiting my intake. However pop is on the outs with me , unless I'm at Crabby's and don't want a beer , but then (hopefully) it gets loaded down with ice

Here's something to consider Otto. When I was your age I drank a lot of Canadian. Thought I'd never do it, but I switched to Coors Light, consuming the same amount if not more, and lost 20 pounds in four months.
1 can of pop...........300 calories.
1 bottle 50..............139 calories.
1 bottle Coors Light..102 calories.
So if you feel like a pop, have a Silver Bullet and lose weight
