hi guys, heres another question that im sure someone in this forum has the answer to. I am looking at getting an inverter to hook up to the surf so i can use laptap/ charge camera / phones etc. now i went to dickie smiths the other day (electrical gadget supplier here in OZ) to get some info and one of the guys there said that an inverter either modified sine wave or pure sine wave should not be used for a laptop as the wave form aint clean enough. but when i go to e bay to check it out i see reams of them advertised on the basis of using your laptop in the car!!!! can anyone shed some light on this ??????? thanx karlos
