TERRI and Bindi Irwin head off overseas again this month to promote Australian tourism, with a trip to Canada planned for the dynamic duo.
Their latest tour comes a month after representing Australia for the two-week G'day USA promotion, with several TV appearances that tourism analysts estimate reached 300 million viewers.
Tourism Minister Fran Bailey said the use of household names to promote Australia had proved effective -- and she would be approaching other high-profile Australians to get them on board.
Mrs Irwin was last month named a tourism ambassador.
She and her eight-year-old daughter, pigtailed "wildlife warrior" Bindi, have been performing her show, titled Bindi and the Croc Men.
They also hit the US talk shows, four months after the death of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
Tourism is Australia's larger export earner, after mining, and employs half a million local workers.
