Islam's Compassion for Women
Christian teachings place the burden of man's fall from grace on Eve and has taught that the menstrual cycle and child birth is their curse. Contrast this with Islamic teachings wherein both Adam and Eve were jointly held responsible for their fall and that Allah forgave them when they asked forgiveness. In addition, the menstrual cycle is but a biological issue in Islam and treated with compassion relieving the woman of duty for prayer and fast during this time. The prophet's example is further testimony of this compassion; "I got my menses while I was lying with the Prophet under a woolen sheet. So I slipped away, took the clothes for menses and put them on. Allah's Apostle said, 'Have you got your menses?' I replied, 'Yes.' Then he called me and took me with him under the woolen sheet." Your thoughts?

Re: Islam's Compassion for Women
The only thing I am in question about why when education and counseling would have been sufficent to turn a woman who had committed fornication or adultry away from this behavior why was she then stones to death after weaning her child. Where is Aallah's forgiveness in that?
