Appearance:

The most noticeable about Issac is that he, well, isn't. He stands about 5'5" and has what appears to be of a slight build. He wears his hair cut short and dyed a light brown to cover his natural navy blue hair. He also wears brown contacts to hide his golden eyes to help him blend in. His normal clothes are old jeans and a t-shirt with the emblem of a local band on it.

Issac keeps his forearms covered with bandages to hide the scars left from his powers and his training. If he is taking part in something like swimming class or going to the beach he will leave his t-shirt for the same reasons that he wears the bandages on his arms. The scar don't bother him personally, he just figures there's no point in making other people uncomfortable due to his scars if he doesn't have to. The scars that he has range from small cuts to a large area left from burns. They appear over most of his body except his head and neck.

This is fine.

Personality:

To say that Issac is punctual would be an understatement. After having been trained, almost from birth, to arrive exactly on time for anything. It has become a small obsession of his. He will get to where he needs to be come hell or high water. Being late cause him to break out in hives and not showing up at all.....well it just never happens.

Other then his obsession with being on time Issac is astonishingly normal when you take his past into account. He's generally relaxed and light spirited. He enjoys many sports but has grown to love rugby. He reads a lot but he seldom watches T.V. His musical tastes stretch from broke to punk. Of contemporary music he prefers local independent artist to those that can be heard on the radio or seen on MTV. He enjoys hanging out with his friends but has had to hide his more unique features by dying his hear and wearing coloured contacts so that he could fit in better.

The last thing that should be mentioned is his outlook on his impending death. He has taken the motto, “Seize the day,” as his guiding thought. It still gets him down and scares him at times but he's not going to let it ruin whats left of his life. He does worry about forming strong connections with people though. He worries that it might be unfair to them to form a relationship if he knows that that he will die in a year or two.

OK, fine, looking forward as to why he's gonna die in a year or two.

Special Powers:

Sonic Blasts:
Issac is able to create sonic blasts from his arms that move away from him in either cone centered on his arms or circle with him in the center. His blasts can range from a extremely high pitched shriek to a solid blast of deep bass. His blast can only do physical harm if he uses the deep bass blast. His arms can be made to vibrate at extremely high speeds which causes the air around it to vibrate. Since sound is nothing more the the air vibrating Issac able to turn that sound into a blast of sound that he can focus if he wishes.

Unfortunately there is a down side to this power as well. The Vibrations that his arms produce to create the blasts can, literally, dissolve the walls of the cells in his arm. Prolong use of this power can cause anything from small cuts on his arm from where a large amount of cells died to, eventually, his enter arm dissolving. The general rule of thumb for this is the longer he uses his power the more damage is done.

This is dangerously close to my sound power...but I suppose its different enough, so its fine.


Area of Silence:
Issac can stop the air from vibrating around him within a 5 foot radius. This doesn't stop from breathing anything like that but what it does do is create an area of silence around him. Since all vibrations of the air are stilled no sound can escape from the area and all sound entering the area are stopped.

Sorry, this is too close to Karrody's Audibus power, his is just stronger. You're either gonna have to think up something new or get Merciah's permission.

History:

Issac was created by a group of Canadian scientists who were working for the Canadian government. They were trying to create expendable enhanced peace keepers. Issac was the first prototype these scientists created. He was cloned from a volunteer from the military and had various bio-cybernetics implanted into him within the first year of his life. These implants began to change him as he grew imparting to him his powers and the odd coloring of his hair and eyes.

From the age two Issac had been train in a variety of different skills from personal combat to espionage to the rules of combat and human rights used Canada, it's military and international law as well as the normal education other children his age would have received.

Issac sees the scientists and the other prototypes as family. He was never mistreated by the scientists. He has enjoyed his time in the program though someone might say that was because he had nothing to compare his experience there with.

Slightly after his 12th birthday the powers that be said that Issac's design is unsuitable for a longer term peace keeper and has had Issac's combat testing shut down. The lead scientist Dr. Steve Stillmen was allow to, “adopted,” Issac so that they might further observe him as he ages. Issac has been living with Dr. Stillmen and his family and going to a normal school since then. He has had trouble fitting in to the less structured world of public school.

One of the directives of the program that created Issac was that the peace keepers they created would have to have short life spans so that the country wouldn't have to deal with upheavals to the society that would come after the peace keepers came home. The life span is between 15-18 years.

After hearing about Manga High School Dr. Stillmen decided that it might be better for him to spend his last few years with people that are more like him. Issac readily agreed to it and the powers that be considered a good means to continue to test Issac's design. So now Issac is on his way to live at Manga High School.

Interesting, I'm getting rather sick of people being created in a lab, but at least this isn't another attempt at a perfect human.

EXAMPLE ROLE-PLAYING POST:

The remains of the last of the targets settled on the floor of the testing area as the echoes of Issac's blasts died away. He stood within a circle that was painted on the floor. The machines that ran his testing surrounded him. Machines that popped up targets. Machines that moved targets along rails. Machines that shot targets at him so that he would have to destroy or dodge them. Target that weren't meant to be hit. Targets that were big and targets that were small. All these thing and more were used in today's testing.

The sound of his breathing could only now be heard. He was gulping down air as he tried to regain his breath. Sweet poured down his face and stained his training clothes. He leaned over, his hand on his thigh, to stead himself. His arms were dark red with blood and one of his forearms was bent at an unusual angle.

As he caught his breath he straighten and waited for the medics to come and take care of his arms. As the adrenaline faded from him the pain of his injuries made them selves know. He paid it no mind for his mind was focused on one moment during the training....

He had been dodging and twisting, leaping and duck. Blasting the targets with sound. It had been over two hours since the testing had began. Each new blast had been agony as it increased the damage to his arms but he push past it. He had been focused on the task at hand.

Before him appeared a target of an armed man. He twisted and ducked, bring his arm to aim at the target. He fired a blast at the target but as he did so a target of a young mother with a baby in her hands moved in front of his target. It exploded as all the other ones before it had but Issac knew it wasn't.

“I was slow.” He thought. ”I was slow and she would have died. Next time I'll be faster.”

He allowed himself to be help on the a gurney as he was thinking this. Dr.Stillman appeared as he was being pushed out of the testing area. The head scientist walk along side the trolley as he talked to Issac. “You did well today Issac. We were able to gather a great deal of data today.” He pause a moment to look the boy over again before continuing. “ I think we finally found your limits which is good. Don't worry about the party. We wont start it until the doctors have patched you up.”

Dr.Stillmen turned to leave but stopped as if remembering something, “Oh yes, happy tenth birthday Issac.”
