Izod's Rules
Ok, this had to happen eventually, so I decided to finally tackle it.
Welcome to my madness!
In order to attend a raid I am leading, you must be between the levels of 44 and 52. Noone outside of this level range is eligible for raid credit. If you still wish to attend, you do so under your own recognizance, and you are FULLY responsible for your own actions. Please insure your actions do not interfere with the ongoing raid.
----
Getting in the door, (or, how to get in a group). The chances are good that I will be sitting with my wizard up, Groodelflake, and not Izod or Nikkitel. The reasoning is simple, and likely to make sense to everyone. I dont want KEI and the other buffs I may have up to be counting down before they are useful, so this is how I put them on hold.
Minimum attendance required: If I feel we do not have enough raiders, or are critically lacking certain abilities, I will request recruiters to go forth and attempt to secure the needed talent. Should this be not enough, I will call the raid off. No sense wasting time on a doomed effort. Hopefully this will never happen.
DO THIS- Once you enter Lavastorm Mountains, put on LFG, and take off Anonymous and Roleplay mode. Then please proceed to the Druid Rings, located in the northwest region of the zone.
I have hotkeys set up on Groodelflake that will allow me to sort through people present, in order to properly place them in the raid structure. Announcing you are ready to be grouped is wasting time, since I know you are good to go once you have followed the instructions up to this point.
DO THIS- I know people tend to go AFK while waiting at this point, but make sure you check back frequently. I will be making groups 1 and 2 first, and I will be sending them in early to clear the path to the SS room. If you are a regular raider, you may be selected for this.
Groups 1 and 2 will be responsible for maintaining this path until all groups safely arrive. Once they clear the SS room, they should immediately head back to the zone by alternate routes, so no raiders are lost to a wrong turn. This will save time, and buffs, since a dead raider needs a res and rebuffing if they fall prey to the critters.
Once all are assembled in the SS room, groups 1 through 4 will advance and kill all opposition on the Ledge. The monks are good scouts for this, listen to them for what we are to expect ahead.
IMPORTANT-- At this stage, it is Vital you do not attack ANYTHING, until the Main Assist, MA, instructs. They will have a hotkey set up for this, wait for it. Many enthusiastic raiders have gotten themselves, (or their healers), killed by attacking before the MA had secure aggro control. If you are not the designated group Healer for the MA, and you were not asked to do so, do NOT heal him. That is the job for one healer, and your mana will be needed for other things.
(Note for Paladins: I know you like doing this, and I make this one exception for heal capable hybrids. You may help heal the MA, at your own risk. Do NOT use the level 44 spell Ethereal cleansing for this, since it will just be overwritten by Celestial Healing)
-------PETS-----------
Pets: Since the game was changed in regards to pet aggro, that being they are non aggro unless fighting, I will allow pets so long as the following rules are STRICTLY adhered to.
Your pet is your primary focus. You will pay attention to it at all times. If you go AFK, you MUST destroy your pet, since noone else can control it. Your pet is NEVER to be allowed to chase critters, EVER. Your group leader will know if you have a pet up, you must ensure he can identify your pet as well.
You are responsible for your pets actions. If your pet should bring the raid grief, I will, at my discretion, deny you raid credit for that raid. Considering the risk having a pet brings, don't use one unless you are confidant you can do so within these rules.
That being said, all pets are recommended for the final charge against the dragon, since it is highly improbable that they will cause the raid problems at that point. Mage fire pets, Necro skellies, and beastlord warders, (FR a good idea on warders), are all valuable assets that add DPS to this fight.
Even enchanter pets love the fun, they are welcome to come and play.
-------
The primary raid will be using the PoP raid structure, so all share in hearing what is looted, as well as getting a trickle of Xp. If you are one of those rare few who cannot, you will be given position to still contribute. This will be determined on a case by case basis.
---------
Buffing-- G1 and G2 specifically-- You will recieve 3 to 4 crap buffs, and regular fighting buffs prior to zoning into Sol B. Since you are the first wave, you are expected to need them.
IF any MGB type buffs are available, instructions will be given out to build up crap buffs beforehand. These are wonderful things, and should be used to their full potential.
---------
Loot items are handled as follows:
Senior Items:

Otherwise, please respect the seniority of the other raiders present, and join them in the CAWU randoming of the items. In the rare event noone actually wants to use an item, full random will be used.
