We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Junior English 2nd Period
As the last of the Sophomores that stayed behind trickle out of the classroom from 1st period, Miss Ada is pleased with the level of intellect of the majority of her students. What she wasn't happy with, was the large number of absentees from the class.

Mitsuko walked into the class, she was still feeling groggy. Stupid school and its classes. No-one needed to lern toe speel and red. She smiled at her own joke that was running through her mind. This would be a first time she'd actaully been taught by one of the teachers here.
" Hi, Do I have the right room? " Mitsuko noticed that the class was empty. That also ment...that...oh no...she...was...the...first...person to arrive!!

Amber walked into the classroom, carrying a black heart-shaped, lace trimmed backpack on one shoulder. The winged girl's attention was in a Death Note manga; safe to say she had maybe two more manga books with her along with a notebook and pencils. She slipped right by Mitsuko and took a seat closest to the door.
It wasn't until she glanced up thst she realized that aside from the teacher and Mitsuko, there were no others. She glanced up at the teacher, smiled and continued reading for now. The school uniform was altered for her wings, but it still felt a little odd. She even wore lace armlets to make herself feel more comfortable.

Kip knew it was the first day and he hated having to be up this early. He gulped down the last of his rockstar, and just hoped it would be enough to wake him up. He has no idea how he was gonna do it. He was never an english student. Well he could speak english, and thats about as far as he could go in this class.
He knew he wasn't a great reader, or anything he just dreaded the thought of having to do anything infront of the class. Often back at home he had just tried to make joke and get in trouble or sent out to avoid doing this or that.
He had reached the doorway.After looking himself over, thinking if he made a good enough impression, he would be able to ease by this class like he had done the years before. Kip reached up and fixed his colar on his green polo shirt and looked himself up and down quickly.
Reaching in the pocket of his board shorts he grabbed his cellphone and held down the power button turning it off. "Don't Need anymore attention than I already bring to myself." Kip told himself. He slid the phone back in his pocket and slid his feet along the ground pushing himself into the classroom.
Jason meanwhile made his way down the hall is his dirty hoodie and jeans. His old grey shoes squeek as he walks. He wasn't quite all there but that wasn't because he was tired. His eyes would have shown what he was really doing before class but he wore the hood up trying to hide his face.
He reached the doorway as Kip did shoving Kip aside and stepping on Kips brand new white shoes leaving a imprint of his shoe there. Jason made his way inside and took off his dark blue jansport backpack, that had duct tape from bottem to the top, and he sat down at a desk towards the middle of the classroom.
Kip meanwhile staggered his way into the classroom trying to brush his shoe off as he did so. He finnally did and sat second rowback on the farside. Kip removed his black jansport backpack and unzipped it before taking a seat. After looking a moment inside of it. He just hoped he had everything he needed.
Jason meanwhile started to doze off already underneath his hood. His eyelids were heavy and he could bearly control them. His hand lay on his desk seeming to be lifeless as he just gets closer and closer to falling asleep. He also was very hungry, he hadn't eaten yet. He put a couple tic tacs in his mouth knowing he wouldnt be able to eat til atleast after this period.
Both Kip and Jason wanted out of this class both very different reasons but none the less, they couldn't wait till this class was over.

Kasch hadn't been able to sleep the night before, so had he chosen, he would have had time to wake up. However, something about being up all morning wasn't exactly incentive to do so. Smothering a yawn, he pushed his way through the door to his English class. His eyes flicked across the room, sizing up the four students there already. Of course he didn't know them. It was still, what?, his first few weeks here? He decided he hated transferring. A lot.
Assuming he would be on the roster already, Kasch found a seat in the middle on the side and sat, tossing his bag at his feet. He sighed. He fidgeted. He fought to keep his anxiety under control. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, he reflected. He could have walked into an already-full room and had everyone staring at him. Thankfully that wasn't the case. He had to shift in his seat several times, the fabric of his uniform pants bothering him. It wasn't a material he was used to. He made a note to alter them later. The shirt wasn't too bad, but those pants...he shook his head. Here he was, the first day of classes, and he was bothering about his uniform. At least it kept his mind off other things. He adjusted his glasses with practiced ease and rested his chin in hand, waiting.

V enters the room after a small group of noisier students (repeats, probably; been here, done that), and of course, it's a study in contrasts. She isn't noisy at all and, although she doesn't move with the preternaturally stealthy gait of a hunter, she is so poised that it's a kind of grace, which the air must acknowledge.
She's in the standard MHS uniform, skirt and shift, but they fit her well; around her throat is a silver chain, which continues underneath her shirt. Slung over one shoulder is a small backpack, and she takes a seat next to Amber. Of course.

Issac quickly ran into the classroom, hoping he wasn't late. Fortunately for him, he wasn't. As he caught his breath, he looked around. He was quick to notice two rather beautiful girls in the class already. Not wishing to sit too close to them, he took a seat near the very center of the class. He didn't want to be so close to them, shy as he was, but he wanted to keep them in sight. He took out his laptop and turns it on, ready to take notes.

As the juniors are shuffling into the cklassroom, Miss ada takes out a pen and paper to mark the attendance roster before speaking out. "You are all almost adults, so expect quiet when I call role." She anounces, the first thing she's said since the students began to enter the classroom.

Kasch drummed hi fingers on the desk surface, not paying much attention to those around him. He only focused when the teacher began to speak. He only gave her half of his attention as she read the role, though. He knew his name wouldn't be on there, so it gave him time to put names to faces. When she finished, he slipped his hand into the hair.
"Kasch Hays," he said simply, making sure she saw him before dropping his hand back to the desk and returning to his earlier activity.

"Did you call us?" Kasaki said as she, Itami, and Chia walked into the classroom. The night before Chia and Itami and went out and bought them each a notebook and some pens. Kasaki and Itami didn't understand it, but Chia insisted on "buying another one just in case". They finally gave up because it was Chia's money.
Chia leaned over and whispered to the girls just before she went to take her seat, "Why is Ms. Ada teaching Ms. Kudo's class?" Itami just shruged, and Kasaki decided to ask, louder. "This is english isn't it?"
Shaking her head, Itami took her seat. and Chia soon followed behind, but only after she looked around the room to see if the person she bought the other notebook for was around. Just as Chia sighed and took her seat, someone entered behind Kasaki.
"I am Inori Fuketsu." Said the familiar voice that seemed to be music to Chia's ears. The truth is that Inori had been deciding whether or not to come to class. But she heard the loud one and knew that if she was there, Chia would be there too. She looked at the teacher and then proceeded to the furthest empty seat. But she was stopped by Chia who handed her a notebook and a pen. Inori nodded her thanks and quietly took her seat.

Knives was late. He already knew it; he'd gotten out of his room late, and as he turned the corner in the hallway, his blue eyes darted to his cell phone when he pulled it out of his pocket. Class would have already started; but it was only a few minutes' difference anyways, so he didn't worry about it. He just walked a little bit faster, holding the strap to his backpack tighter over his shoulder so that it wouldn't bounce quite as much with each step.
As he stepped into the room, he smiled at everyone in there, not seeming to care if the attention was on him or not. With a quick wave and his friendly, goofy grin in the direction of the teacher, Knives turned his attention to finding a seat. He quickly noticed he wasn't the only one late - there were still many empty seats - and felt a little relieved. But, before he moved to the nearest seat, he picked up two familiar scents: his friend from his first night, Amber, and a girl he had met in the meadow, V. His eyes came to rest on the two of them, sitting near each other, and his German Sheppard dog ears perking up quickly at the sight of his friends, and he gave them the same smile he'd given the whole class and the teacher.
Quickly, so as not to disrupt the class further, Knives slid into the desk behind Amber. He let his backpack slide off of his shoulder and come to a rest on the ground beside him, and then leaned forward, towards Amber and V. "Hey there, girls," He whispered, still smiling at them, "What'd I miss?"

The moment V settled next to her Amber greeted her friend with a smile:
"Morning."
-and handed her a volume of DeathNote from her backpack.
"This was the one, ne?" She whispered, "I couldn't remember if it was this one or the next."
Roll call happened (quietly of course) and then the appearence of Knives who had just missed said roll-call. Amber smiled at him, tilting her head towards the teacher's direction.
"Make sure your name's on the roster...just be quiet about it, okay?"

Maria slowly walked towards the classroom she had been assigned to for this period. It was her second day at MHS, she didn't care if she was tardy or not, she could blame it on being lost. She had taken extra time to get ready today, she had wanted to look her best for her first time meeting more than a few people at a time. Maria fixed her slightly before proceeding through the now open doorway and towards her new teacher.
"Excuse my tardiness, but this is only my second day here. My name is Maria Vasquez and I am supposed to have this class this period."
Maria then handed a copy of her schedule and took a seat in the rear of the classroom. She would first observe the others and then try to meet them. She fished through her person for a small notepad and a pen, should she have to take notes she would be ready.

Mitsuko looked over at everyone, being very unamused by the now small crowd that had gathered. Class was gonnd suck, no-one seemed to really be interesting aside from someone already met, V.
Walking over and sitting next to her, Mitsuko looked at her again. Last time they had met was at the bar, and that was a rough time. Kanami had been acting weird and well V was already weird.
"Hello, been awhile since we've met" Mitsuko said cooly. Adding something to her original thoughts on V; She was really beautiful.

Rayd made his way into the classroom, sighing as he looked around at those who had arrived. He looked to the teacher and nodded.
"Rayd Legion miss."
That was all he said as he continued to walk into the classroom. He was less than enthusiastic about the uniform, his shirt was already hanging out, and just wasn't looking how it was meant to, not that he cared, it had been a crap morning already, how could it get any worse?

She examines the volume of DeathNote Amber handed her, then glances over and nods, a speaking nod: Yes, this is the right one.
Knives plops into the chair behind Amber, a boisterous, boyish presence, and V half-glances over her shoulder to look at him, acknowledgement of presence. Amber speaks before she does, though; and what does she have to add? While Maria introduces herself to the teacher, Mitsuko says, Hello, been a while since we've met. And V's profile is to Mitsuko, at first; but her gaze slides to the side, and Mitsuko is the object of her regard.
"Yes, it has. Have you been staying out of gunfire?"

He laughed in a sort of whispered way, and then gave Amber a big grin. "Yeah, I'll tell her if she asks..." He said quietly, leaning in close so that Amber could hear...not that it was important, just that it was a response to what she said. And it was a valid point; he'd not known she'd called roll until Amber said this, and hadn't given his name when he entered. Telling the teacher now would simply interrupt the class even more.
With this, he leaned back in his seat, stretching his body out, resting his back against the back of the chair. One elbow came to rest upon the corner of the desk, so that his hand could support his chin, his deep blue eyes staring ahead unfocused; it was English. Simple, easy English. He could sleep through this class and get a near-perfect grade. His other arm fell over his middle, laying there casually, while his legs extended forward, one straightened, reaching underneath Amber's chair. His other leg was bent, his knee resting against the leg of the desk, foot flat on the ground. He looked very comfortable, as if ready to take a nap.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw V acknowledge him. When he saw her eyes, he turned his head to her, his eyes focusing to look at her. Then, he gave her a big, friendly grin, and lifted his head from his palm so that he could wave said hand to her. She hadn't spoken, but that didn't bother Knives. After all, he knew she was quiet, and that her lack of words didn't mean anything. In fact, her acknowledging him was about the same as a friendly greeting from anyone else. So, when his chin returned to his palm, the smile on his face remained.

As a few of the schools return students, as there are usually not many come into class, Miss Ada notes that they have noticed that she is teaching the wrong class. Does it matter, no. Today is merely a day for putting everything in motion, and it makes for an interesting entrance when the students return to school the next day to find a different teacher in the classroom. Though it might only happen this once. It was a fun mischevious idea.
"I am sure that most of you already know," She begins, simply waiving the late students to there desks, being they are older then the younger classmen, hopefully they are more mature to know that the worst punishment is to receive no direct punishment when they do something wrong. Then she continues. "That each of you are required to wear your school uniform. Luckily for those of you not wearing one today, this is only the first day of school, and we are not so strict about that certain rule. Tomorrow though, I expect differently. Before we get started for today, is there any questions for me?"

Maria quietly sat in her seat as the teacher addressed the class. At the mention of school uniforms, Maria was glad she was wear hers, it might not have been exactly the was the dress code wanted it to be, but she was wearing hers.
"Before we get started for today, is there any questions for me?"
Maria had to raise her hand. The correction wouldn't have been made if the teacher was a student, but she was a teacher, so proper grammar had to be used, and Maria felt the need to correct it. She wasn't trying to be smart, it was just something that bothered her.
"Excuse me miss, but the correct way to ask that would be 'ARE there any questions', not 'is there'."
Maria was sure some students would laugh at it, and that it might gain her some friendship points, but she wasn't doing it for either purpose. It was just something that needed to be corrected.

As he heard the error, Rayd's hand also made it's ascent, though before he could point it out, another student had already beat him to it. Rayd smiled and shook his head, looks like he had some competition for the role of smart-ass student.
Still smiling, he sat back in his chair and waited for the teachers comment, looking over his sunglasses at the teacher.

Shiro ran full blast down the hallway of the school. "Damndamndamndamndamn....," he muttered as he slid around a corner. Reaching in to his short's pocket and pulling out a peice of paper. English he was supposed to have now. He was the door but he was going to fast to stop fully so he leaned down and pivited off from his right hand, sliding in to the class room. "Am I late yet?" Shiro asked out of breath. Standing up and brushing himself off, He bowed deepy and said, "Shiro Kage and Tokou no Hikage reporting for class. Sorry for the delay." Standing back up and flashing a grin he headed towards a seat near a window. Looking around the class he saw some people he knew but most he didn't or didnt rember. He saw Amber and gave her a covert wave so as not to attract to much attention to himself.
