We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

A small fish darted through the clear water as a small hand reached playfully for its dark grey-green body. It cut through the water, the sunlight glittering brightly against its smooth scales. A submerged girl watched as it swam away, its small body wiggling gently as it went. The girl swam upwards and broke the surface of the water, the clear liquid running down her sleek black hair. The portion of her hair that was still submerged danced lightly against her soft arms. She rubbed the water out of her eyes with the back of her hand as she treaded the cool water. The lake swirled gently around her body, which was covered in a deep blue bikini swimsuit the same color as her eyes. The top half tied around her back and around the back of her neck with bright pink ribbons. Small matching ribbons were also placed on both of her hips. She pushed her wet hair out of her face as she hummed, wondering if she would meet anybody here.

*He stepped softly thru the sand as he approched the lake. His bare feet allowed him to walk deathly quiet. His chest was bare as was most of his body. Though he was wearing a pair of board shorts which were dark green, almost black. He looked out onto the lake and smiled as he noticed the person in the water as well as the ripples that she caused.*
"Interesting meeting someone in the lake at this time."
*He spoke softly, not wanting to startle her or distrub her fun. He moved on till his toes were at the edge of the lake. The ripples of water moved up over his toes. He could feel the temperature of the water.*

The girl looked up as she heard a voice coming from the edge of the lake. She saw that there was a guy standing at the edge of the water, so she responded.
"Oh, hello!" she smiled warmly at him as she kicked her legs in order to stay above the water. She waved kindly at him, small water droplets jumping from her fingers. "Are you going to come in? The water feels really nice." The water was sort of cool, yet almost warm at the same time; a perfect temperature. The girl's smooth black hair, soaked in the pleasant water, clung to her neck and cheeks above the water as she waited for the newcomer's response.

*He got a huge smile on his face when she waved to him and said hello. He raised his right hand and waved back, chuckling lightly. This one seemed like she was overly exicitable and hyper. It would be alot of fun keeping up with her and seeing just what she was into.*
"I think I will join you."
*He took three steps and then dove in head first taking a few quick strokes then came up closer to her*
"By the way, the name is Jun-Bo Tsuen. And you are?"
*He contuined to swim towards her. He was at ease in the water. It was not his home, but he was comfortable there.*

The girl smiled as he dove into the water and approached her; she loved having company around. Being alone can be nice, but she always prefers to have people around to talk to and have a lot of fun with.
"By the way, the name is Jun-Bo Tsuen. And you are?"
"My name is Kaede Hokkaido," she answered. "But you can just call me Kae, if you want." Kae smiled happily, very glad that she was already making friends on just her very first day on campus. She felt that she would probably have a lot of fun at MHS.

*He grinned and swimmed up next to her less then 5 feet from her. He grinned and spun twice in the water and then nodded*
"Well then Kae I am glad to meet you. What are your thoughts on this school. I have not seen you around so I assume you are new here."
*He swam up and gently stroked the water keeping him self above the water with a soft smile. With that he leaned back and looked up and over towards her calmly.*
"You like cooler water I see. I think it is a nice change from the norm."

Kae smiled as he spun around in the water. He seemed like a very fun and nice person to be around.
"Well then Kae I am glad to meet you. What are your thoughts on this school. I have not seen you around so I assume you are new here."
"I'm very glad to meet you, too," Kae replied, "And yes, I'm new to this school. It seems nice so far, and I'm looking forward to meeting a lot more people."
She smiled back at him. Kae smiles quite a lot, and it is one of the things she was known for back where she used to live. Everyone at her old school knew about her happy nature.
"You like cooler water I see. I think it is a nice change from the norm."
"Cool water is nice," Kae answered. "It makes me feel really happy and comfortable." Kae felt happy most of the time anyways, but cool, refreshing water around her always seemed to clear her mind.

The lake was always a favorite spot for Darrien, it's quiet serenity was a contrast to his loud and powerful personality, and this helped keep him in check. Today, he was taking a relaxing stroll after a jog. Working out constantly was his only vice, but who could complain about the body he had? Sculpted abs and thighs, calves and arms chiseled from marble, he took no part of himself lightly.
The earbud headphones from his ipod were in his ears firmly, so he heard nothing but the driving sounds of the new Suburban Legends EP as he walked along the lake. Perhaps he'd have noticed the other people around had he not been in his own world, but an unwitting entrance was better than a stumbling one.
"Ladies screaming everywhere
Now what's a boy to do
Had them at my finger tips
With every nasty move
Show me yours, I'll show you mine
Everything will be just fine tonight."
Audibalizing the words he was listening to was one problem Darrien had. Another, was dancing as if no one was looking at him. Striking a pose on his hands after a lavish display of spinning, flipping, and twirling, he saw the two people in front of him. A single drop of sweat fell to the ground from his forehead as he contemplated how to recover from this most interesting display.
"Hey there, didn't realize I wasn't alone." he said with a smirk, though upside down it made a frown of embarassment on his confident face. He left the ball in their court, maybe they missed the entire display and were confused as to why he was on his hands, or maybe they saw the whole thing and assumed he was ill, either way, it was certainly an entrance you'd expect had you known the enigmatic dancer.

Kae closed her eyes to protect them from the bright water droplets jumping from Jun-Bo's head.
"I know what you mean. The cool water seems to wash away the dirt and worries. I wish I could enjoy this more often."
Kae opened her shimmering eyes again. The last sentence made her wonder how much time she herself would have to spend relaxing like this... Would she be too busy to enjoy these simple activities? She pushed the idea to the back of her mind. She knew it was better to enjoy it while she had the chance instead of worrying about what would happen later.
"So what are your goals while here? Is it school work or fun and do you know what your goals for future are?"
"Umm..." Kae took a moment to consider this question before she answered. "I suppose-- ... I suppose my goals are not only to get better with the powers I have, but more to make friends with the people here that are like me in the way that they have powers, too... It's sort of a goal to have a happy life with people that understand me more than ...normal... people would." The idea of not being 'normal' made her feel something in her stomach that felt sort of like guilt, though the feeling was mysterious in the way that Kae wasn't sure what it really was. She cast it aside and redirected her attention back to Jun-Bo.
She was about to ask him the same question, but before she even opened her mouth, she felt water landing on her face and shoulders. She could feel the droplets slither down her body back into the vast surface of the lake. She laughed as she thrusted her hands through the water, pushing a small wave of water back at Jun-Bo.
As she looked at him, she saw that someone was at the edge of the beach, standing... on his hands?? Kae's smile broadened as she tried to think of why he might be upside-down. She didn't think badly of him for it, but she definitely thought something of it.
"What are you doing?" she asked, her voice springy with concealed giggles.

*Listening to her speak of her goal of becoming friends with people of her type, he wondered why people figured that people with powers were not normal. With so many people with powers now a days he for a second wondered if it was not these normal people that were not normal at all. His thought of his goals for a second just before she splashed him back. He smirked and ducked his head to miss his face with the water she splashed. When we spoke to the man on the beached he raised his eyes from his turned head and chuckled raising a hand to wave to his friend. It had been a while since he had seen him too. *
“Hey, you going to join us or just stay on the beach and let the blood run to your face.”
*His voice was full of joy, not mirth. He was just trying to make a joke and be playful with the man, not to hurt his feelings. Though he did wonder why the man was upside down. He pondered on wither or not he was dancing or practicing martial arts with the I-pod in his ears. *

First impressions, such a pity they could ony be made once. Darrien himself had forgotten what caused him to take his dance/battle/impress the ladies stance. Pushing the ground down as hard as he could, he flipped back to his feet.
*Crick, crick, craaaaaaack*
Darrien's neck crackled like an old wooden floor being roller bladed on, and oh was it loud. Taking the ear phones from his ears, he took two brisk strides toward the water.
"I'm not interupting anything, am I?"
The wink, the smile, it was like he whipped out a charm mask and covered everything with it. Let's see where this takes us, shall we? he thought, his piercing stare taking them both in equally.

Kae cringed as Darrien cracked his neck. The sound of popping joints always made her feel uncomfortable. She shivered violently at the noise, but she managed to ease herself.
"I'm not interupting anything, am I?"
Kae blushed slightly at the comment. He really wasn't interupting anything, but the idea of it sort of caught her off guard.
"Um," she replied, "no not really." She turned to look at Jun-Bo as he began to talk.
“Hey, you going to join us or just stay on the beach and let the blood run to your face.”
Kae turned back to Darrien and awaited his reply.

*He smirked lightly as the man said that he thought he was interrupting something. It was an amusing thought and made him smirk. But he noticed the man had not heard him. Most likely because of the I-pod being so loud. He motioned with his head to the man. *
“I guess you missed my question, but I asked if you were going to join us or just let the blood run to you head.”
*He snickered and waited for the man’s answer. He did though look over to the lass and smile as she blushed lightly from his comment. Ah she would be in interesting one, Just like he was interesting. *

Taking a second to ensure his statement made the appropriate registry, Darrien simply winked in Jun-bo's direction and strode swiftly toward the pair.
"I'll take a seat here, not really in a mood to be in the water today."
Sitting a bit apart from the others, Darrien crossed his legs and looked off into the distance. "So many hidden treasures around this campus, wouldn't you agree?"

Kae smiled. The two seemed to know each other, and she hoped that she would end up knowing a lot of people, too. She watched him walk towards the water a bit more before he sat down at the edge of the lake.

Kae liked the idea of the campus being filled with wonderful things such as this lake. She took a moment to explore the numerous possibilities of things that could be on campus somewhere. Then she realized that she was spacing out, so she snapped back into reality and diverted her attention back to Darrien.
"I haven't seen much of the campus yet," she said, "but I do hope there are more things like this lake around." She smiled warmly at him. "By the way... I don't think I got your name... My name is Kaede Hokkaido... But you can just call me Kae."

Making a fan of his hand, he waved once acorss his face. "Pleasure to meet you miss Hokkaido, name's Hessel, Darrien Hessel." If James Bond was cool, Darrien was ice cold when he spoke.
Taking a second to think about the other wonders he'd witnessed around the campus, the majestic waterfall, the cascading hills in the mountian range, the girls' changing area in the hot springs, so many places had appealed to Darrien's eye.
"You'll have to check out the Calle waterfall when you get a chance, it's a great little spot, and the view is amazing."

"A waterfall?" Kae echoed. She'd never seen a waterfall in person before, but they sounded like they would be beautiful. She tried to imagine what it would be like to see one, but those thoughts were pushed aside by the eager idea of actually seeing the waterfall. "That sounds great! I would love to see that." Kae decided that this school was probably full of wonders like this, and she became very excited and eager.

*He sat quietly for the most part allowing the two of them to talk. He had thought about answering his friend, but they seemed to being having fun talking so no need to interup them. He watch a bird fly by above him in the sky. He wondered what it would be like to be able to fly like that. It must be alot of fun to see everything freely.
He had been to most of every place at the school, there were several interesting place to check out. He had found hiden caves, abd many many other things.*
"I agree the school is nice and has many cool places and things to find."
*He did not speak too loud, but loud enough for all to hear. He was calmly down some as the water was relaxing his muscles some what.*

His speech wasn't the only wild streak about him, the multicolored wonder that sat atop his head was in full flare today. Reds, blues, yellows, oranges, and greens flying off in all directions, yet kept neatly in streaks of each color.
"Thanks for the reiterating Jun-bo, how long ago did you two meet here?"

"Yeah," Kae replied, not quite catching the arrogance surrounding his comment. If the ego had been fully shown, however, Kae would have been thrown into a pretty sour mood; people with high-up attitudes like that always made her quite irritated, which was definitely an unusual emotion for Kae. She continued talking. "That would be cool to see a waterfall in person... I've only seen them in pictures and films before."

"Oh," Kae said, answering the question, "we met here just today, right here in the lake."
Suddenly she realized that Darrien's hair consisted of many colors. Her eyes widened in surprise; she had never seen hair that colorful before, or even close. She swam over to the shore to see it better. She crouched at his side as she inspected his rainbow-like hair.
"That's so cool!!" she exclaimed as she played with the multi-colored streaks. "I've never seen anything like that before."
