Kei's appearance can be decieving, as he seems to be very slim and slender. Truthfully, he packs quite a punch, as he is slightly overweight for his height. Proof of this would be his muscle mass to body fat ratio. He dons no scars, he wears no tattoos. He has a left ear-piercing that usually has a generic silver earring in it. His hair is quite long, but not long enough to be considered long, as it only reaches about 3-4 inches in length tops. His hair is an intense and deep blue, where his eyes are like a bright blue moon, white decorated all about his pupils.

Personality:
Calm, but impatient. Considerate, yet cruel. Kei cannot simply be described with certain qualities here and there. He is a mix of everything: good and bad, nice and mean, quick and slow. At first, Kei can seem almost unapproachable at times, as he tends to lock himself in his own world at times. Kei possesses very few friends, but those friends... they are his comrades for life. Most of the time, one could find Kei just sitting outside, suckling on his cigarettes. Yes he is a smoker, but for some odd reason, Kei possesses the power of being unaddicted to his cancer sticks... kind of. To add onto his already akward personality, Kei has an odd infatuation to acting and the theatre: his only other weakness besides women.

Kei possesses a unique and special kind of power. No, he controls no flame, nor does he stop time. There are those times when one is trapped in a corner, no place to run or hide. For those times, Kei searches deep inside his heart for strength. In there, he will find his sword and his shield. A strange material then surrounds Kei's entire body, covering every corner. It then hardens and shines, blades emerging from his elbows. The material takes the color of a dark blue, his eyes burning red. This suit of armor provides Kei with his sword and shield... It is his strength, but also his weakness. The downfall? Kei is what charges that weapon. The suit itself lives off of Kei's life force. The suit can heal itself, but only after sucking away life energy from Kei. Thus, this suit of armor is actually a double-edged sword.

Kei's true enemy, is himself.

History:
Kei had lived in a moderately rough childhood. His parents work for international companies, so Kei had lacked a mother-father figure for the majority of his life. In their place, Kei's parents had entrusted the care of his and little sister Ayame of 8 years old to their big 28 year old brother, Toushiro. Toushiro was a splendid guardian of his siblings to the extent that he could be. Kei also helped Toushiro with the household chores at hand. On the other hand, Kei had always gotten into trouble: fights, smoking, and talking back to teachers. It was never anything serious, though. Despite Kei's bad boy qualities, he respects his family, mainly his big brother and little sister, and makes sure he never causes them any trouble. That attitude has stuck with Kei ever since. The origine of Kei's power isn't known, exactly. The first time he had used his ability was during his middle school days, after being attacked by other classmates. The kids had pushed him to the point where he lost consciousness and transformed, severely brutalizing the children. Kei, however, did not remember a thing of the event... as if he wasn't in control of his body at all. Now after being kicked out of school after school, Kei's last hope for education before military school lies in Manga High

EXAMPLE ROLE-PLAYING POST:
[INTRODUCTION]
It was a rainy day, the dark clouds had turned what could have been a sunny monday afternoon to a dark and dim wetfest... and Kei still had to work at the Noodle Shack today. Spaced out, cooking ramen noodles to the occasional customer, Kei just stared at the scenery. Hanzo, the owner of the Noodle Shack, had decided to plant the shop at the Park this week.. To think the lush green grass that kids had played on the days prior had turned into wet, soggy, mud and muck, Kei was a little fascinated. It was amusing as to how a single object could be one thing this day, and something else another... He dwelled on that thought.

Once after the customers had all left, Kei's shift ended, he was free to go. His daydreaming was then disturbed when a red plastic bag was placed in front of his face. "Here, some tofu for tonight." Hanzo said with his obnoxious voice, smiling at Kei. "Ayame likes it fried, right?" he asked. Kei stared at his overly-friendly employer for a brief moment, then accepted the tofu and nodded. "Yeah, with some sauce and pork on rice." Once Kei finished his sentence, he reached into his pocket and placed a cigarette in his mouth, his manager then taking out a lighter to give Kei a hand. "Thanks." Kei said.

"You're transfering to that special high school next week, right? Consider this a 'congratulations' and 'good luck' for that. Just make sure you--" Kei then interrupted Hanzo. "--Thanks, Hanzo. You don't have to worry about me. I'll keep out of trouble, and I'll succeed. I know my future's ahead of me, and I don't plan on dulling the quality of it one bit." Kei then put on his coat and started to walk off. "Thanks, Hanzo. I'll see you tomorrow." he said, looking back at Hanzo with a smirk. With that, Kei walked off, the rain pouring on his figure.

Hanzo smirked back and laughed. "Haha, stupid boy. I didn't mean to say that crap. I was just telling you to make sure you tell your brother I said 'Hi'... damn kids."
