Keyboard set up for jousting and pk?
How do you guys have your keyboards set up in concern with this topic? Where is your auto attack, do you use the mouse? I'm havin trouble configuring everything to optimal efficiany, so any help would be great.
here, best rogue set up imo that I used on my rogue.
use your mouse to straffe(hold right click, and move it around to look around etc.). use your arrow keys to move around.
0/ins is your backstab key. Have fun.

I use mouselook and holding the mouse button to move forward (just like my old Doom2 setup). Have left, right and backup on the keyboard for strafing (doest really matter where you put it, just somewhere that everything is close by - I use 'A' 'S' and 'Z'), and then auto-attack and backstab are 'Q' and '1' respectivly. this puts them in a spot where I can hit both at the same time during a joust.

i remapped my keyboard the same as a 1st person shooter but shifted one key to the right . e,s,d,f for moveing. too lazy to be asked to move the A for autoattack.(then they remapped the &^#$ thing to Q) i got hotbuttons hooked to W and G and can still reach the numbers above for other skills. G is mapped to BS and W is disarm so while running forward with the E key an can BS, autoattack, and disarm pretty quickly. hit autoattack off and mouse straif around for another joust.
nother gread thing to save hotbox space is to macro an invis button
/doability 1 sneak and
/doability 2 hide
another for evade
/attack
/doability 2
/say get offa me %t
/attack
you could even macro the BS and disarm together to save another button press while straifing. just leave the BS button in your hotbox to see when it refreshes.
other than that id say turn down ur clip plane and lower all effects and graffics so you have little or no graffix lag. being as your wep dly is so much lower than any other jouster you will be makeing smaller loops. you dont want to be lagging at all while ur circle straifing or jousting

I'm an avid dueling rogue on FV server, this is how I have my keys set up
ALL ON KEYPAD:
5 - move forward
2 - move backwards
1 - turn left
3 - turn right
Enter - Hotkeyed to backstab
+ - Jump
0 - consider
7 - autoattack
9 - hide
8 - hotkeyed to assist
/ - opens inventory
. - duck
4 and 6 - looks up and down, useful for when sitting or stunned where the mouse look dosen't work
and on the mouse I just have the normal right click and hold to use mouse look, thats about it
