Kody the Koala

Click here for information on this speciesKody the koala was admitted to the Australian Wildlife Hospital on the 25th of November, 2004. Sadly, this little orphan was a victim of a severe dog attack and weighed only 800g when he arrived. His left leg was mauled so badly that the vets had to amputate what was left of it to save his life. He has made a good recovery and is now one of our permanent patients at the Hospital. He resides with Whistler in their brand new enclosure and they now have a few girls to keep them company!

between him, the koala that lost his ear, and the one that
hurt his shoulder, it is a good thing that the Australian Wildlife
Hospital is there.

Yes. Just think of all the lost lives there were before it opened and even they can only do so much.
