We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Shiro had searched for quite some time for a suitable place to fill his addiction and low and behold the most obvious place was the last place he looked. He walked over to the directory of the mall and searched for the object of his obsession. Shiro navigated the mall unitl he reached the most holy of ground for like minded people, The arcade!
As he breached the threshold of the arcade the traditional sounds nearly knocked him back in to the mall. It had been so long since he had had to endure the hub-bub of the communal gaming area to play his beloved. His ears quickly adjusted themselves to the sounds effects and general trash talk/ banter of gamers. The flashing lights would have reduced anyone untrained to a small pile on the floor, crying for it to stop. Shiro went to the nearest change machine and inserted a five dollar bill. CLANGCLANGCLANG! it wrung as it spit out his quarters. "First goal accomplished, now on to the prize," Shiro mumbled to himself as he stood listening for the tell tale sign. It hit him all at once, the beat pushing its way above the rest of the sounds. It was the most glorious sound in all the land. Sliding through the crowds Shiro came upon the Dance Dance Revoultion machine in all its glory. Unfortantley someone was already playing so Shiro took out his quarter and placed it on the corner of the screen so that everyone would know that he had next dibs. If anything ddr players new the ddr ettiqette.
After the kid, a small nerdy boy with glasses had finished his turn Shiro got up and slid two quarters in to the machine. He looked at the screen and was suprised to see that it was a 5th edition mix. Shiro held 5th edition high above the others because it had most if not all of his favorite songs on it. He chose his character (baby-lon) and difficutly(maniac). "Ohhhhhhh yeahhhhh," Shiro said as he slid the song to his personal favorite, B4U. He let his body loosen as he prepared to play for the song and let the rythm enter him.

Stepping up behind the young man he looked to the game with a smile. He had played it a few times before. He was not bad at it, in fact he would venture to say he was good. Though he had been beaten by that little 5 year old. That torques his jaw and he had not played it since. He smirks at his thoughts at how he had let a simple game get to him. He figured it had to be the imbalance of hormones in this youthful body. He moved up next to the machine before Shiro could select all the items he wanted hem before no one else could join and looked to him.
“Care for a challenge match? I will pay.”
He did not think that money would be an issue for either of them, but it was something that gamers do, when you challenge some one that was there before you, it is common knowledge that you had to buy the match. It was just done. He smiled calmly and waited for an answer as Shiro was selecting his items. He would watch the young man play and dance with the game off the game if he said no. It too was common practice with this game. He smirks calmly as he thinks about spending over $50 just to get use to the game before he would allow anyone to play with him, just because he did not want to totally suck at it, while with another.

"Be my guest," Shiro said motioning for him to slide his money in,"I've already paid though so don't worry about it. By the way what mode do you play in? I would guess....trick perhaps?" Shiro waited patiently for the man to select his character and difficulty.

He bowed to the man once then, smiling he moves calmly onto the machine and enters his money. He smiles as the machine does it little intro to him. He grinned and selects a character called Sange. He smirks and he looks over to the man and shrugged as he picked heavy for the difficulty. He watches it move calmly thru the screens until he was at the same screen. He smiled calmly and nods to him. He smiled as he asked which mode.
"Any mode will do. Trick is fine."
He was not too worried about which mode he had tried almost all of them. He had played most of the modes and had at least seen the other played. Even if it was something knew he would figure it out quickly enough. He smiled and looked to the list of songs. He grins lightly and wondered which song he would choose.

((OOC:Eeepp! I'm sorry I should have told you! fifth edition is an older version that only has three difficulty settings, Beginner, trick and maniac. I take full blame for that I often forget that the newer versions kicked up to a four to five difficutly setting style. I guess it really doesnt matter I guess ill just assume your playing trick then unless you going to play maniac which is the hardest mode))
Shiro slid through the song list. He selected B4U again and gave Jun the customary shrug to ask if he was going to be alright on this song for his current difficulty setting. "This song is pretty hard for a noob. You arn't a noob are ya? Huh?" Shiro joked. He knew that he was good at this game already but if he DID screw up he wanted to be sure that his partner could save the money.

He smirked lightly at the song he had done it before and could handle it at this. He nodded once to the man once and smiled getting ready calmly. He stood at ease not worried, he knew he could get at least second best level at this song at tricky.
“I can handle it.”
He was not going to brag or say he could do it easily, because the man that brags is te man that eat his own shoe. He smirked as a proverb went thru his head. He nods once to the man to begin the song. H stood at ease waiting.

Shiro shrugged once again and hit the green button. Taking his stancewith his legs spread and one foot on each one of the two side arrows he closed his eyes and listened to the first two seconds of the music. A slight tremor rumbled through him as he caught on to the beat. He opened his eyes and saw that the first arrows were coming forth. His style which could only be described as "walking the pad" was smooth and freeform allowing it to seem as if he were actually dancing with his upper body well his legs flowed from arrow to arrow. He did not have time to see how he his partner/rival was doing but he was too worried because he himself was tossing up perfects as if they were candy on halloween.

He smiled calmly as his partner/rival took a stance. He placed his hands in his pockets and smirked. He listened tot he beat and his nodded his head with the beat calmly. Once the beat was in place he looked as the arrows moved up calmly up the screen. Unlike his counter part, his movements were more like that of some one who only moved as much as he had to. He smirked as he too thru up prefects with ease. His eyes were locked on the screen the same way he did when he battled. He grinned as his legs moved with very fast movements.
For the most part he waited tell the very last second to move his legs. Except for a select few parts where he knew the moves came in fast enough to need him to be on top of it. He smiled calmly as a perticular sections came and you would notice him flip around so his back was to the screen. He smiled as he contuined to pullof perfects though he seemed almost like he had zoned out as he listened to the music to keep track of the beats.
x-oshi walking through the mall with a Rams Jersey on some white and red K-swiss and some blue jeans. He also had his black doo rag on. He happened to walking past the arcade. When he heard the familiar sounds of a certain arcade.
Stepping into the arcade X-oshi quickly spots the machine. He sees that its a DDR machine and two of his classmates happened to be playing.
Walking up behind them both he waits and watched the steps as they moved. He didn't kow the current song.. he just had not played that song.

The song ended with it's final beats and Shiro leaned against the back bar, a small sweat dripping down the side of his head. "YOUR A DANCING HERO!!" the machine yelled showing Shiro's double A's. "I should have gotten triple A dammit. How did you do?" He asked Jun. Shiro slid one hand acrossed his forehead and shook it to relieve some of the sweat from his face.

He smiled as he came to a stop, he looked over at his screen and at his own. He smirked and shook his head seeing that they both had gotten AA he thought that was funny. His side also yelled out the saying “You’re a dancing hero!” He smiled calmly as his brow was dry. The short song was not enough to make him break a sweat with the pace. He laughed lightly.
“Well done. I got double A.”
He grinned calmly as he thought about the likely hood of them both getting it. He smirked and wonders if the man if going to pick a hard song next. Or if he wanted to try a song that he had never done before.
"Okay practice time is over. Time to show off," Shiro said as he flipped to stop to my beat which on maniac was at the maximum difficutly. "You realize this will kill anyone less then godly." He said to Jun. Shiro's long finger hovered over the start button. "You sure you can handle it?"

He looked over to the man asking if he could handle it and nodded. It was only a game and he was better then this game. He knew he could beat it if he wanted to. With a smile he looked to the screen and made sure his was set to the same level. He then stood there waiting as he had last time. He wondered if the man would last thru this or if he would fail. He pulled a hand out of his pocket and brushed his hair out of his face with a quick brush.
“Lets do this.”
His voice was a little excited as if he had wanted this all along. He had a genuine smile on his face as if he was having fun. His cloths hung as loose as they could around his body. His breath was normal by now and he was doing nothing but sliding his hand back in his pocket and waiting, for the fun to begin.

Shiro hit the button and listened to the catchy yet only moderatly fast beat. The arrows started coming at a alarmingly mediocore pace but with no end in sight. The beat was throbbing and yet didn't give the proper clues as to how fast to move your feet. Shiro smirked as his feat started to pound out the arrows like clockwork. "And here comes the part where is show off," Shiro said as a pause came in the song. Jumping in to the air and flipping upside down he landed on his hands just in time to hit the first arrow. Raising his head up so he could see the screen he started to hit the arrows with his hands, his legs propped straight in to the air. The strain was intense on his body but he knew that he had to keep going or he would fail horribly.

He smiled and left his hands in his pockets, as his feet started moving with the arrows. He seemed less then worried about the fact that the music did not match the arrows. He grinned watching as the song moved along, so far he head nothing but prefects as of the pause he smirked as the man flips over. He would let him show off, this was not his song for showing off; he had his own song for that. He smiled as he moved with a grace most dancer do not have. His hands stayed in his pockets thru it all. His head bounce to the music even though his feet moved at a different rate. Grinning at this one part he bounced on all the pads with one foot only the other lifted up. He was still getting his prefects.

Shiro had caught the breifest glimpse of what his partner was doing out of the corner of his eye. Shiro just chuckled a bit as the song came to a near close. He needed a big finally to finish off with. He looked back at the red bar and then back at the screen. He bent his stomach so that his feet were now touching the bar but he was still pounding out the arrows with his hands. Then he saw what he was looking for in the song. Another small pause but it was all that he would need to excute his plan. Pushing off from the pad with his hands and arching his feet like hooks he sun around the inside of the bar as it were a gymnast bar. After pulling in his weight and a few spins he released and was sent up in to the air. A corkscrew spin righted him and he landed on his feet just in time to hit a corner jump followed by one last six step gallop.

He smirked as his partner waited for a pause. Jun moved with ease on the pad, is feet moved fast on the pad, but his upper body seemed to remain stable as if he was the Martian on loony toons the pause gave him a chance to adjust his pants with his hand remaining in his pockets. So far he had had a perfect. The machine was screaming out how good he was doing. They had started to get quite the crowd behind them watching these two knock out moves with ease that made the game seem easy. He smiled as the last of the gallops come. He moves thru them with ease and as the last step came he pulled his right hand from his pocket and held it about him as if he had just finished dancing on ice. His hand was just above his head on his right side. He had done it for a little flare.
“Your very good.”
He smiled and looks to Shiro, he was mildly impressed with this young mans means of playing this game. If he had known what he was planning he would have tried it as well. Then it would have been truly show stopping. He shrugged at his thoughts and waited for the young man to say something.

"You know your not so bad yourself," Shiro said smiling. He had sweat running down his head heavily, not from because he was worked up but because there was so much body heat in the room that he was bombarded by the heat. Shiro sat up on the bracing bar and motioned for Jun to pick the next song. "Your prize for doing so well," Shiro said with a grin.

He bowed lightly at the complement. He could take one in stride. He grinned as he was told to choose the next song. He reached out to the machine and flipped thru the songs tell he got to the one with the fire background. He never could remember the name. It was not particularly hard step wise, but it is extremely fast paced and made it very hard to get prefects. He selected the song though he left his finer on the button after selecting it so he could adjust his sets further. He moved the song up to times 8 speed, the highest setting. He smiled and nodded to the man.
“Ready?”
It was almost a statement as much as a question because the man could adjust his settings as well if he wanted to. He waited for the man to either change his settings or just click thru them to the start screen. Jun loved this one because it pushed his speed to the limit and he normal could not get more then an A on it because of the speed. He was going to try for a triple A since he was faster then the last time.
