there was a man, well, not a man.....a young man, probobly 19, sitting by the rode. he was wearing all black, although the clothing was a little fancy. black jeans and shirt, the shirt was edged in silver highlights. his boots and gloves were black also. his hair was pure white, and down to his mid-back. he had a cape also, although it was more for warmth then show, of course, also black. his eyes were hidden behind a visor. an eevee was curled up in his lap, which he was petting. he glanced up at Vahn

Time to post and be poketmonster-like! *~In character~* A dark haired, 17-year old boy walked down a path, heading towards New Bark Town. He stopped and looked around in the grass, searching for any movements. He was a pokemon trainer, and he was a good trainer. He liked to collect things, ever since he was little. His older brother became a pokemon trainer, and had gone to challenge the Elite Four. Then he disappeared. Vahn sighed at the memory of his brother. He missed him a lot. Behind the human, a white-blue Vaporeon purred and scratched at his trainer's heel. "Let's go, Vahn. The town is just down the road a bit.." The human smiled and patted Verizon's muzzle. He liked Vaporeon---they were very faithful. And smart. He snickered and pushed Verizon over, watching as the pokemon just layed on it's side and stared up at him. "Oh, what's wrong, Verizon? Thought you wanted to go? Why are you laying down?" Verizon shook it's head and sat up, shaking the dust off it's coat. "Come on, Vahn. I want to meet the Professor." ooc - Xx; Yes, my pokemon can talk, and we can understand them. I don't like going "Vay vayporeon.." it's retarded! This'll have to suffice.. "I agree. >> Shouldn't there be... rules against that?" Vahn stood, thinking about the conversation. He absently rolled his fingers over the pokeballs fixed at his belt. Dispite how he disagreed with the thought of altering pokemon... he thought that having an enhanced creature would be of value. But that would be more like.. cheating.. then winning battles because of your strength as a trainer. That, he didn't like at all. I hide Dragons!! ^^ he grinned a little "i dont agree with it either, but there arent rules against it. its a rather hard science to learn, there are only maybe.....two genetisists in the world. one of them died when their lab exploded (reffering to mewtwo breaking out) and the other is my brother. my brother doesnt try to make new pokemon though, just alter the old ones. and then, not even that all that much." he pet his eevee still, which was now a little ball in his lap "he gave me a few TM's though....odd ones. never heard of the attacks before."

The way this guy had put his words.... it made him sound as if he were saying Vahn were nothing but a novice trainer. That was not so. But after what Kain said... he really was a little more concerned with getting to New Bark Town before a battle ensued. "You're welcome to join us. While he did enjoy traveling alone with his monsters, he was taken into curiosity by Kain, and his eevee, and his TM's. And he hadn't battled a real trainer in a long time, excluding the gym leaders. Most of the trainers he had passed lately were no more than kids, playing with their pidgeys and rattatas. Vahn was itching for a real fight. It wasn't often you ran into someone really worth your while, nowadays. It was all little trainer kids and their baby monsters. But Vahn was a little trainer, once, so he didn't bother them too much... They passed a little boy, who was sitting on the side of the path. The boy watched them carefully, then stood and ran over to the Vaporeon, throwing a rock at it's head. "Hey, that's not funny, human." The boy jumped back in surprise. His eyes watered and he dropped the rock, tripping over himself and falling on his butt. He looked up at Kain's dark expression, then at Vahn's glower. The pokemons seemed indifferent. "You're evil trainers, aren't you?" He eyed the eevee again, his hand searching for the rock. "You go around and attack people with your pokemon! You have to be the ones doing it!" He threw the rock. That doesn't make us evil, does it?" The boy skuttled back away from Kain. "It might." Verizon growled and stepped up to the kid, pawing the ground before him. "My trainer is not evil. Where do you get such ideas, boy?" The kid looked like he wanted to scream and cry and curl in a ball. The vaporeon seemed to frighten him even more than Kain did.
