The scheduled shows were part of Madonna's worldwide Re-Invention tour which kicks off in Los Angeles tonight.
She had booked three dates at the Tel Aviv Stadium in September including a televised show on September 11 to mark the third anniversary of the al-Qaeda attacks on New York and Washington.
But it is understood that an un-named Palestinian terror group have sent a series of threatening letters to her offices in LA.
The Re-Invention tour will hit New York in June, Chicago and Toronto in July, Miami and London in August and Paris in September.

Such a shame, and to think that she had already cancelled her Tel Aviv performance because the jewish leaders dont like the kabbalah. Hmm looks like the palestinians arent the only ones after all.

You have to feel sorry for poor OLD madge, though, less tickets and that means less money for her and her lil demanding kids and hubby whos career she managed to end too. . Still though the plus side, more people have undamaged eardrums from her poor live singing.
And yes, CHER how she must be envied by madge, i mean better singer and actress (wots that? oh the oscar unlike madges gold razzies).
