Many offroaders around?
Just wondering how many ppl will be running offroad trucks/cars. Just dusted off my jrxt after many years of collecting and am looking forward to summer now. Myself and at least 3 others I know will be looking for some racing this summer. More for fun than anything as we all have backyard bombers So far we are all electric cept for one new team associated nitro truck.
I will definately check out some of the offroad racing too, looks quite interesting.
As soon as get a body done up I will send in some pics of the ol truck(bought in 1994). She's old but still has plenty of spunk.
Last year we had a few off-road out there on the track with us. A couple RS4 MT's a couple T-maxx's, a 1/8th buggy, an RC10gt and they had a blast. Some of them did better than others on the pavement but they still had fun. Tim (miserynitro) is in the process of building us an off-road track for this year. I'm not really sure what is going on there as he is keeping it under wraps until he is finished, knowing Tim it will be huge. He's the guy to ask abou off-road as he will be running it. I doubt i'll gt into off-raod this year but I am thinking of buying one for next year. We'll see how racing goes this summer. You never know, we may convert you to a Touring car.

Re: Many offroaders around?
hey guys,
I ran a Losi JRXt a bunch last year. It was brand new straight out of the box. Lots of bashing it without any breaks. Cellar has a bunch of spare parts in a box in the back if you need any extra.
I think I'll come out and try my T3 onroad pavement. Any idea which tire, Foam or Rubber?
thanx.
Re: Many offroaders around?
I would run rubber just because it is a parking lot and it's not super clean,. Sure we do sweep it off a bit but it's still pretty dusty. Plus witht the speed of the track you will probably eat through foams. I cna't say from experience as i have never run them. Everyone else runs rubber but who knows.

Rubber
Yeah, I would run rubber as well. Although I've never tried foam tires, I've read on other forums that they are best suited for prepped tracks, i.e. very smooth, blown asphalt with traction compound.
Hey, techab, why don't you signup? Membership is a big fat $0. And it's easy, just fill out the online registration form on the site's 'Membership' link.
I'd be happy to see you come out with your TC3 this year.
