Meditation.....or Not? (Openish)
Datu sat in the middle of the garden, his eyes closed in deep focus. He needed some time off from all the stress right now. It was almost impossible to get privacy around here. He bowed his head down in silence, and continued to meditate, blocking out all the sounds around him.

When he does this, he would usually hear his master's voice, but since he has been captured, his mind has been silent. Datu tried to get his mind off of that subject, and breathed in deeply.

Clear the mind....

It seemed as if since his master's capture, a part of Datu has died. It just wasn't normal to hear his master's voice on a regular basis anymore. Datu tried once again to get off that subject, and took another deep breath. Finally, he was able to get his mind off the subject, and relax in the silence...

"Dang it.. This must be one of tha biggest campuses i've ever seen." Trent's loud voice filled the garden as he unwittingly stumbled upon the serene setting and vegetation. From his vantage point, at the entrance, he couldnt tell that there was someone else in the room. Living in the city he never really was one to care for plants too much, but when he visited his grandma out in the country she always had real pretty flowers..

His feet were tired from all the walking and standing he'd been doing lately, so he ventured deeper into the room. He followed the trail through the garden until he reached a bench. The heavy heels on his boots clicking with each step that he took. Also, when he sat down, he let out a deep sigh and he sunk back into the wood. He then crossed his arms over his chest and nearly nodded off.

He shook his head wearily, trying to wake himself up, and began to rub at his eyes, one of which has slight yellow bruising off to the side. It was at this point that he noticed the only other person in the room. He couldn’t make out any details what with all the plants between them, but could see that it was a he, and that this guy looked like he was even more tired than Trent himself was.

Azure walked into the garden. He was wearing a black t-shirt, white socks, black tennishoes, blue jeans, and a black leather belt. His eyes were glowing with a bright aqua blue light, and his star birthmark in the center of his forehead was shimmering with it's constant silver glow.

As he walked into the garden he noticed that their was a man sitting on a bench. The man sitting on the bench was trying to stay awake. It seemed that he was not having much luck at it. Then there was the second person in the garden a boy sitting in the middle of the garden. He was in a meditation position and was attempting to meditate. Azure quietly walked over to the boy who was meditating and got into the same pose as the boy was in.

This is nice, he thought this pose seems to relax and refresh you. Hmm I will have to do this when I am tired. he thought as he smiled.

So, how are you this fine day? Azure asked the boy meditating next to him.

He then waited for a reply.

She walked gracefully across the stone paths that had been laid on the ground. The soft, sweet smell of the flowers greeted her warmly. The cool, fresh air felt so nice on her skin and in her lungs. The sky bove was a soft mixture between very light blue and silver, with clouds whisping cross the sky.
Finally, she reached where she wanted to be. Smiling to herself, she approched the white rose bush and knelt in front of it. Reaching forward, she gently caressed the soft, white petals, allowing the scent to overwhelm her senses until it was like it was in her blood.
Looking up, she noticed there were three other boys standing there in the garden, but she didn't think much of it. Turning back to the roses, she simply fell silent as she took in their essence. Her eyes shut and spirit open, she simply just relaxed, allowing the sun to illuminate her moonlit fair skin.

Datu was too buried in his thoughts right now to notice anyone. Yet again, his thoughts of his master came back to him. He couldn't shake it off so easily this time.

Where the hell would I find him?

Kill all the demons for answers!

But that won't change anything!

Suddenly, Datu got a flashback of when his master was still here.

"Datu, how would you feel if you lost a loved one?"

"I would do whatever I can to bring them back. I won't let go of them."

"There, Datu. That is your weakness."

"How is that a weakness? I do not want to let go of the ones I love...including you, master."

"Datu, not being able to let go of people is a weakness. It weighs you down. Very soon, that emotion will get in the way of very important parts in your life. In order to get stronger, you have to let go."

"I....don't think I'm ready for it yet."

"You do not have to learn it now. It's an attribute you gain through the journey of life. You cannot rush it. But, Datu, you must always remember: there is a fine line between protecting someone, and not being able to let go of them. Always remember that."

Datu then opened his eyes, and turned towards the person next to him. Suddenly, he let out a yell, and fell back. After recovering from the surprise, he looked at him.

"Have you ever heard of greeting someone first???"

Arion opened one of her eyes and just looked at the other boy. She looked aside to where the first boy looked like he had just seen a ghost. Surpressing a laugh, she simply let the rose go, gently, and turned to look at the two boys. They both looked deep in meditation and it was very humorous, the way they suddenly broke. She just looked at them, feeling a strong sense of sorrow from one and just a sense of strength from the other.

Trent's gaze had fallen to his boots, as he absent-mindedly began to drift off, but as he heard the approach of the other kid, he looked up just in time to see him pass by. His lips opened to say something, but he decided not too, and then felt rather sheepish. He slunk back deeper against the bench and watched the boy's feet until they stopped next to the other guy sitting down.

He raised a brow questioningly as he saw him take up a seat beside him, but shrugged it off. A moment later though he heard the startled kid, the one who had been sitting here when he arrived, and then a quiet laugh after that. He sat up sniffing slightly, as he realized there was even more people in here than he thought. He rose from his seat reluctantly and tred over to the other two.

“Well alright,” Trent stopped a couple feet from the guys he was approaching, and he spoke with abit of a twang as he replied to the outburst, although it wasn’t aimed at him. “Ma’names Trent, nice ta meet you.” He extended a large hand to shake for the one on his back, then the other sitting beside him. A good firm handshake was an important aspect of leaving a good impression, or so he thought.
