Monday night Kael Loot info & standingsMonday Night Kael Raid Guidelines & Loot Rules
Basic Requirements
People attending the Kael raids must be at least 45+ and in one of the following guilds: Healers United, Da Hui, Elusive Path, Fellowship of the Phoenix, Company of Valor (the ACOF guilds). We will be using the PoP raid system. People who wish to attend that are not in an ACOF guild should speak with me beforehand.
You must sign up in advance, and groups will be formed the night before. People who just show up without signing up risk being odd man out or not being able to come.
We will be forming inside Kael at the Wakening Lands zoneline.
We will be starting at 9:00pm EST. When I say we are starting at 9:00EST I mean we are moving out from the rally point, not announcing in channel that we are in nexus looking for a port. I would like to be in the arena or plate house by 9:20. Would like to have one volunteer come on a little bit early and claim either arena right/arena left/plate house. If all 3 are camped then we can do Tormax ramp.
The raid ends at 12:00am EST (midnight).
This raid requires at least one 54+ "slower", shaman preferred. We also require at least one defensive warrior (55+) one 55+ plate offtank, and one 56+ primary cleric. Will not go without these basic requirements.
Faction taggers (i.e. people who want to come along just to get faction hits) are welcome to join us as long as they are 45+ and understand they won't get ANY drops at all, anything, unless it is going to rot - armor no one wants will be looted for MQ. I don't run these raids to equip random d00ds who showed up.
Points System
Each raid you get 25 points for attending. You lose 5 points for either coming late or leaving early, and these stack if you do both. People who are very late or leave very early may get even less points or no points at all on raidleaders discretion. This is not a pickup raid. Points are awarded at the end of the raid, so you cannot win anything on the first raid, as you have 0 points until it is over.
I will be updating the points directly after each raid. If there is any discrepancy you should email me - ouzestinkeefeets@mchsi.com . It is your job to make sure that your points are accurate. Points are considered final as of the next raid - i.e. you have one week to check your points. I will not discuss points standings during the raid. If there is a problem or disagreement with a loot going to someone, you should send me a tell. If WarriorA wins a BP and you don't think he could use it and you send him a tell instead of me, and I find out about it, I will ask you to leave. Any loot issues go to ME, not the person who won.
Armor Loot Rules & Policies
When a piece of armor drops, we will halt pulls and kill what we have. I will look at the brackets for whatever type of armor dropped, and will list the names of who should roll. You may only win one piece of armor per raid, and 25 points will be deducted from your points standing. *BP EXCEPTION* If a breastplate drops, and you already won a piece of armor, you may still roll on a BP if you remain in the top bracket after the previous armor points deduction. This is so people who have high points standings don't feel like they have to horde their points or maybe miss out on a BP if it drops - if you need gaunts, roll on em!
If no one wants a piece of armor it will be looted for the MQ bank.
You can only win an armor piece once, except bracers. While you are allowed to transfer points to a different characer - more on that below - generally speaking you earn points for whomever you actually brought, and can only roll on armor for whomever you are actually playing. The exception was if I specifically ask for a different character - for example, if I ask Zubov to bring Tymmy instead, he can still roll on Plate for Zubov.
Rolls are done in this order: Single rolls in the 300+ bracket (i.e. high points down to low points, they don't roll as a single bracket), down each bracket, down to MQ. It will go to MQ before it will go to someone with no points. Raidleader discretion applies here - we have enough silk gloves in the MQ bank and so those, for example, could be rolled upon by no-points silk wearers if it came down to that.
Points Transfer
People will be allowed to transfer points on that Kael raids to another character on their account - that they own, not to a friend. There will be a transfer cost of 25 points for doing this, and you must post in the sticky kael thread before the raid starts you intend to do a point transfer, and to what character. As the raid leader I reserve the right to veto an points transfer, with Ezmrella arbitrating - I don't expect to do this unless someone somehow takes advantage.
Non-Armor Drops
There are several non-armor drops we may get, such as a defiance, sboc, or velium swiftblade. These are not on our point system and will be rolled on at the end of the raid by the classes that can and will use, right now. There are several items that are all/all, such as the silvery belt of contention. If one of these items drop, I will list names of people who may roll on the item - in the case of the SBOC, melee characters who do not have a better haste item. Raidleader has discretion over who may roll on what. You may only win one non-armor drop per raid, and each item only once. If it is an item no one will use as a primary charcter, then it will be open roll for alts.
Royal Kromrif Blood
This is used for the shawl quests - we will usually get these if we go to the Plate House, so it won't be often. I am asking that if anyone needs this they post ON the sticky kael thread (this thread), and post which shawl they are up to. Preference is going to go to the person who can use the soonest THAT POSTED, and preference is also going to go to casters - this is not an especially melee oriented item. If someone posted they were on 4th shawl, and on the raid a blood drops and you go hey, I am on my 5th - I am still going to give it to the person who posted on their 4th so no one has any surprises when we are there.
Multiquest Bank
Items that no one wants may be used for any interested character to has the points to spend. MQ'ed armor is 20 points each. Raidleader has discretion over who may use what from the MQ bank - Like I said, the purpose of the raid is to equip main characters and better guilds, not to equip armies of twinks.
Selling MQ/Non-armor drops
These raids are intended to get armor and equipment for people to actually use. It should go without saying, but I will say it anyways - selling of armor MQ's or items won on these raids is forbidden. The only exception is for Faction helms, which may be sold to recover peridot & quest gem costs.
Common Sense
Looking up, it looks like a long list of rules and requirements. The truth is, that the kael raids have actually been pretty laid back, stress free events. I think that partially is because it's a good system - I think it's very fair, and I honestly think they go well because people that attend know this system rewards effort. The rules are so long and so many not because I like to make rules or to have a power trip, but because i want to keep it running as smooth as possible - there is nothing more corrosive to morale then arguing about loot. I would like to make sure we have virtually every situation covered, but life can be complex, so one last rule - I am going to call it the Common Sense rule. All of these rules are guidelines, not a tool to bludgeon people with, and to keep you from doing the right, fair thing.

Re: point transfer
to expand upon what taken said, the shard of hsagra's talisman that Vindi/Tormax can drop essentially IS the Sleeper's Tomb key quest. But it's very rare.
