Monster Manuals
I don't think I've mentioned this before, but I'm a huge fan of monster compendiums.
For the current D20 system, I already own 3.0 Monster Manual, Monsters of Faerune, and my Epic Level Handbook and Psionics Handbooks have nice monster sections. And I've been considering getting Monsters of Norrath.
I guess what I'd like to know is what monster compendiums are your favorite of those available for the D20 system?

Re: Monster Manuals
he means universal D&D. Can be used interchangably in Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft, Dragonlance, etc.
-- Marauder Arafain Entreri, 65 Deceiver
-- Arafein Soulstriker, 54 Champion Relic (deceased)
-- Arafax Kokorozan, 20 Monk Giantfriend (missing)
-- Formerly of Requiem of Souls and Crusaders of Plilo
-- Formerly of The Rathe Server, now of Zebuxoruk
-- My ghetto gear "Once, in the old west, a gentleman shot a professional gunfighter in the back. When asked why he didn't give the other chap a chance to draw, he replied, 'Well, he's dead and I'm alive and that's how I wanted it to be." -- from Red Planet, Robert A. Heinlein

Re: Monster Manuals
My favorite Monster Manuals are all of the second edition ones, because of all the information they gave you. I particularly love the Planescape ones.
As far as Third Edition, d20 rules or whatever, I love the Iron Kingdom's Monsternomicon. If you see it, I highly suggest picking it up.

Monster Manual
Monster Manual II
Monsters of Faerun
Fiend Folio
Manual of the Planes (I'd swear it has a critters section...)
Book of Vile Darkness
Book of Exhalted Deeds
The Underdark (FR accessory)
Psionics Handbook
Epic Level Handbook
These are the ones that have sections dedicated to new critters. Not sure about that monsternomicon thingiebob somebody mentioned earlier, tho...

Re: Monster Manuals
Well, I went to the gamestore this weekend and looked at some of the books mentioned here. I didn't see the Fiend Folio anywhere. But I saw Monsternomicon, also saw the monster book for Swords and Sorcery and Kingdoms of Kalamar.
In the end, I ended up buying Monter Manual II and Monsters of Norrath if for no other reason than because they were full color pictures. The other books were black and white, but I'll probably pick up a couple more next time.
Re: Monster Manuals
<3 the Book of Vile Darkness. Some of the things you read are quite imaginative frankly and will scare the bejesus out of you when you consider being a PC against some of those things!

Re: Monster Manuals
There are a couple of Monster books for the EQ RPG as well, not true D&D but it is d20.
