Must...type
It was late. Students were all supposed to be in their dorm. But as usual at MHS...rules were being broken. However the current offender was not smoking, drinking or even writing something crud on the walls. There werent any pranks being played, or viruses entering the schools computer network. Not a single thing on the teachers desk was disturbed, and the only sound in the dimly light room was that of keys clicking and the soft breathing of one focused student.

Garbiella Florez sat at one of the many seats, eyes locked on the glowing screen eyes her fingers flew over the keys, typing in letter after letter, word after word with amazing speed and accuracy. She didn’t seem to care that her screen was the only light in the room. Or care that it was nearing 2:00 in the morning. Her mind was focused on the task at hand, which was currently typing up a 6 page report on the results she'd found from a survey of her fellow students reguarding the lunchrooms food. She figured if she had the support of her fellow students on her side that maybe the lunch ladies would have to let her aid in the preperation of the food.

Not a fun job...and even less fun at such an ungodly hour but the lunch ladies had been so smart mouthed about the entire situation she wanted to be done with it so she could throw it in their face. It simply needed to be done A.S.A.P, and since she'd left her own laptop in her younger sisters care back home, So that she could do her work, there was put one choice left....use the schools computers.....Well....that or write it out....but such a crude method didnt even cross the sleepy girls mind.

Come on...almost done...then I can get to work on my science project and then....*yawn* then maybe get in a few hours of sleep..

but the thoughts werent exactly encouraging...and against her will her azure eyes became too heavy, sleep creeping up on her.

Kobita was suffering from one of his insomnia streaks and was wandering about the school grounds. Many different stressful things had popped up lately, Hadu still being the most stressful. The whole idea of them sending someone at all, much less here was something that caused a lot of stress.

Kobitas feet sloshed slightly in the damp grass and he looked annoyedly down at them. Why in the world did he have to land in the waterlogged ground? The boy jumped to the side and made his way for the sidewalk. Kobita's feet hit considerably more solid ground and he sighed. He hated muddy water.

The boy slide his shoes and socks off, better to not have them at this point, they did more harm than good in their situation. Kobita finished balling up his socks, placing them in the shoes, then placing the shoes against the school wall as he noticed something coming from inside the school. Was that a light?

Kobita silently creeped up to the window he now recognized as the library. "Yep...that was a light, but no one should be up this late..." It wasn't like the rules ever stopped Kobita from doing what he wanted to, why shouldn't that apply to the light user?

The boy slowly and silently opened the window and creeped in. He made his way stealthily down the aisle of books toward the computer chair, aided by the darkness around him. He blinked slowly as he got close enough to make out some symbols on the computer.

"You know, people aren't supposed to be up so late." Kobita said quietly, a smirk showing on his face. "You could get in trouble for that whole rule breaking thing."

Gabriella jumped clear out of her seat at the sound of someones voice, the quite was what she had welcomed throught the night as she typed but her own shrill scream was what peirced the air, more so that is than his voice. She reached out and grabbed the first thing she could get her hands on and seeing as they were in a library it happened to be a book, a rather large novel to be percise. She hurled it at the boy by the book shelf, it was all out of sheer impulse, fright coursing through her veins in hot waves of panic and anger. She hated being scared. Her heart raced and her mind went soft and the feelings that came to her during the time made her even angrier. She picked up another book and threw it at the boy again, this time out of rage.

"Then what are you doing up!?! Running around campus scaring the life out of girls?"

Her words came out in a rushed hiss as she kicked up another book and held it over her head to throw. What was wrong with these people?!? Up prowling the campus and such then questioning honest student. Okay well not totally honest, she WAS trying to undermind the Lunchroom hierarchy but that was all irrelevent.

Kobita looked down slowly at his shoulder. Did she just hit him with a book? Kobita looked back up slowly as another book came flying at his head. The boy raised his left arm up, catching the book neatly in his left hand.

Kobita dropped the book infront of him and remained silent as she held the next one in position. Did he really scare her that much. Kobita quietly and slowly lowered himself into a sitting position on the floor as he looked up at the frightened woman.

"The scaring the life out of girls is just a perk, I was mostly just wandering around. Can't quite sleep as of late." Kobita took a big yawn as he spoke the last sentence. His head leveled once more as he looked over at the woman. "You know...you could seriously hurt someone with those."

She held the book firmly in her grip, soft tanned fingertips losing color because of the hold she had on it. She lowered it slightly when he cought the book so easily and mearly clutched it loosely when he sat down watching her. Did anyone see her as a threat?!? This was getting annoying, people laughing at her vows of pain, shruging her away after a tackle into the cold hard snow and now sitting down on her as she clearly clutching a rather nice sized book in her hands.

"Apperently not the person I was aiming for..." She said dropping the book on the floor and placing her hand on her well shaped hips, a personal habit of hers.

"You people are so strange here. Up at all hours of the night just wondering about in the shadows and such." She said stiffling a yawn, she was going to leave out the fact that she too loved to wonder about late at night under the moon, simply for the purpose of being right.

Kobita blink slowly as she spoke and his lips moved to the side as if contemplating the situation. No doubt him catching the book with such ease put her in a demoralized mood, except he didn't exactly feel like getting hit with another book.

Normally, the small boys face would be red from just looking at girls, much less talking to them, but lately he had grown slightly more confident. That or it was dark in the room and he was already somewhat attacked.

"Well you seem to fit in just fine here then." The small boy said joyously as he picked up the fallen book that was hurtling towards his head just moments ago. "So...were you reading these or just using them as projectiles?"

"They were keeping me company, you know seeing as at three in the morning or so after a full day of school the books here tend to conversate with the less sane. Well, they were talking to me that was untill someone came creeping up on me and now they are projectiles mainly."

She said with a light chuckle, her tranquill voice travling through the still library. It was hard to believe that only a moment before there had been screaming going on in that now silent space. She reached out and grabbed the small swivle chair that lined the computers desk, a cair to match each high tech machine. She plopped down in the chair and it naturally spun slightly against her weight. She smiled at the motion that took over and pushed off the soft carpeted ground causing her chair to go reeling once more also sending her into a giggling mass.

"And you? Do you Creep through the shadows to simply scare innocent girls like me or are you like a Student Marshal or something, you know so I know if I need to burry you under an entire book shelf of books so you dont go runn and tattle on me for being in here so late."

Re: Must...type
Kobita listened half-heartedly as she spoke. His main focus was on straining his eyes so he could read the text on the cover. It wasn't that he was spying on the girl, just sleepless nights were boring nights. The boy was only curious.

Kobita gave up after a few attempts at reading in the shadows and discarded the book. With a sigh, the boy pushed himself up from the ground and made his way over to the spinning girl. That caused a smile to come to his face. He didn't know many girls around here who had the energy at all, much less this late at night, to spin around in a chair.

As Kobita exited the shadows, its likely that any thoughts of him being scary would vanish. The boy was one of the less imposing figures on campus. His metal arm was covered and his tiny size wasn't.

Kobita looked curiously over her spinning shoulder at what she was working on. Was that...the school lunches? Kobita was more worried about the breakfast he was served once. He was sure that pink thing moved. It smelled like it was freshly killed too...creepy cafeteria man.

Kobita plopped down on the seat next to her, a yawn escaping him. "Do I look like the kind of person who'd be a student marshal? I doubt you'd be able to keep me buried for very long either...I have a knack for escaping."

She placed her feet on the ground as he came closer to where she had set up 'camp' for the last couple of hours. As she came to a slow but steady stop, her vision blurred from the spinning she actually tried to look at him. Either he was...small and rather young looking or her vision was completely thrown from the spinning she had done just moments before, she assumed the latter. She waited for her mind to stop sloshing around in her head before she came to a complete stop, facing him in the chair at her side.

"Well, seeing as my mind is still turning in circles I cant answer that one but I will say that that from the way you easily cought that book you could be one. As for my methods of handling you, alittle research on you should help in figuring out the best way to diable your cunning."

She said with an easy smile, black bangs swept to the side just barely gracing her cheekbones. "But its good for you I dont like reaserch unless it has something to do with cooking."

It seems the reason why he was in control earlier was his inability to actually see her. As she turned to face him, his face grew slightly red as he leaned against the desk and buried his redding face in his arms. He attempted to make it look as natural as possible.

Kobita looked over the edge of his arm as she spoke. Something about research on handling him. Come to think of it, the last time someone was doing research with him in the library was when Sakura was attempting...whatever she was trying to do. Kobita didn't exactly want to be put in that situation again.

Kobita looked away as those thoughts entered his mind and she began talking about cooking research. "I see..." was all he said. His shirt muffling his words slightly.

Gabriella's head tilted to the side in curiosity, her tighly wound raven curls tipping forward, fallowing her movements exactly. For a moment she thought he was getting sleepy finnally but she then figured the poor boy was motion sick from all of her spinning and was resting his trying to get his self centered again. She raised a delicate hand and barely tapped him slightly on the shoulder making sure he was okay. The last thing she needed was someone to hurl in the Library and get them cought. She was a great cook, an amazing house keeper and an awsome activist but, a nurse? She couldnt stand the sight and smell of blood, or vomit for this matter.

"Umm, you feeling sick or something?" She said pressing a warm hand against his shoulder then took it away and lifted her peach messenger bag from the ground. She stuck one hand inside, the other clutching the bag in place and soon produced a bottle of water.

"Here, have some water..." she mummbled to him setting the the water down on the counter, fallowed by the bag on the floor. "You need some fresh air?" She said standing up about to head over to the windows.

Kobita lifted his head slightly to look at her as she tapped his shoulder. He still some how managed to hide his red face and look at her at the same time. Shadows help in so many ways. His face started to cool down slightly and he lifted his head a bit more to see what she wanted.

His face didn't stay normal for long. As he felt the warm hand on his shoulder, his face seemed to go red again and he retreated back into his earlier position as her hand left. He seriously needed to work on his social skills. Not to the same degree some of the other, more malicious students need to but nevertheless.

Kobita turned his head to look at the water bottle as she got up to open a window. Was he thirsty? Kobita sat back up and picked up the bottle, turning it over a few times in his hand before he decided he wasn't thirsty. He set the bottle infront of where she was sitting.

Reaching the window she tugged it open alittle more and the crisp srping air poured in with a gentle gust, tumbling past her bare legs and into the room. She looked up into the star speckled sky, the deep dark blue of the sky matching her own eye color. Resting her frame against the windowsill for a moment still watchig the midnight background and enjoying the freash air she listened for his movements. Her voice, easy and cool, broke the stiff silence between them with a slight chuckle.

"Whats your name again? Seeing as if you pass out on me or something I might have to drag your body to the nurse."

Her long tanned legs carried her back to her seat, inky black ringlets bobbing slightly with her walk. As she sat back down in her chair, making sure not to spin in the chair this time and eyed him just in case he fell off the chair. She picked up the bottle and looked at it a moment, noting it was unopened she placed it next to the bag on the floor.

Kobita leaned back in his chair, finally gaining control of his facial temperature. He choose to pay attention to the computer screen instead. "I'm not sick." The boy let out a yawn as he slouched down into his chair. "Just a little tired. Nothing big."

Kobita let out another loud and audible yawn as he turned his attention back to the computer screen. "It's Kobita." He said quietly, keeping his attention on the screen. It was the most unrude way to keep his attention on something.

"What were you working on?" He asked quietly as his eyes scanned over the screen. "Something to do with food?"

"Well I am actually trying to overthrow the totalitarian system of the school's lunch ladies seem to love, seeing as it gives them total power over what we do and dont eat even if it tastes like regurgitated cat food at times. All I want is the chance to work with..." She let out a fake cough into a closed fist. "Or over them. I prefer over though, Im kind of a spaz when it comes to the things I consume. Which is why I avoid eating in the Lunchroom."

She pushed the small gray computer mouse with the back of her hand, grazing it just enought to make the screen saver vanish and all of her research to come flashing back across the screen. She glanced at him for a moment then back to the screen too, re-reading the fact that she had already typed out.

"What do you think of the schools food? Would it hurt to have some student input-" She thought about her words a moment, her azure eyes glancing up to the ceiling for a bit of insperation before correcting her self. "Well, Control actually, but do you think it would cause those facist old lunch ladies any sleep?"
