Despite the title, this isn't entirely political or anything. XD Or maybe it is....Either way I just figured that there might be some other Americans on this board who might be interested to learn about this law that Congress is trying to push that would just about get rid of "net neutrality." What that means is that big companies like AT&T and Comcast and Verizon and BellSouth are shoveling money at politicians to get this act passed so that, basically, they can control the Internet. This is not good for most people. If you have a website, you'll be a affected. This board will be affected for many people here (though I don't know how the international stuff will work). If you have a blog, you'll be affected. If you have just about anything online, DO anything online, you'll be affected. And prolly not in a good way, by the sounds of it. So, if you are a US person, take a look at this website to learn more about what the heck I'm talking about. If it concerns you, sign the petition and write to yer congress people, and of course pass on the word. If it doesn't concern you, well that's up to you. I also always encourage you to look more into it, as I'm sure I'll be doing later (though I already signed it anyway XD I think it's looking not good for someone with an online portfolio or comic).
