My homemade chatter tool
All it is is a piece of copper tubing I found at Lowe's in the plumbing section, a thumbscrew (1/4" x 20tpi, I believe), and a piece of 1/2" wide flat steel bent at an angle.

I tapped a hole in the copper tube for the thumbscre, which makes the length of the steel piece (and thus the amount of vibration) adjustable.

This isn't working like I want it too, yet. I think my piece of steel is too thick.:( I may try something thinner to see if it will vibrate more.
