NWN-orginal game WTF? (spoilers)
Two @#%$ dragons at once? You've got to be kidding me.
I've tried this a few times, best I've done is get first dragon to badly wounded. My henchman(Daelan) dies almost right away. I would rather have Grimgnaw, but at this point you're not allowed to change henchman(unless there is something I don't know). I am a 15 paladin/ 2 rogue and I basically do no damage. I'm now thinking I made a mistake by trying to dual wield a paladin(ambidexterity bracelet), should have gone with a big two handed weapon with high potential damage. My AC is about 27, I could buy a few things to increase it, but I doubt that would make a difference.
I'm sure plenty of you have won the battle, I still think this is a little overboard, even if that is what people asked for after BG2.
Hmm, I went through the NWN OC recently with a level 10 paladin / 5 Champion of Torm and ripped through them without a problem (Tomi was my henchman, he died fast). Of course I went the greatsword route (with focus) and teared through both dragons like hot butter. Are you missing or just not doing much damage? I assume you are buffing yourself with bull's strength/divine favor/etc before the fight.
Near the end Tomi died against pretty much everything, but he was only there to tell me his story about Sammy anyway.
What aspect of the dragon is killing you? If it's the breath, you should have some damage resist gear by now I would think.
Whenever I had a hard time fighting anything I would drink every type of potion that I had (and sometimes let Tomi chug them down too) and charge with no problem. Do you have any 'heal' potions that you can keep hotkeyed?
I don't really know what to tell you, what have you tried? What kind of equipment do you have? When I get home I can check to see what my AC is, but all I have is the copy of him after he finished the game.

If you are getting hit a lot just use a one hander and a shield. You should not be dual wielding with only one feat (ambidexterity), in fact, you should not be dual wielding past level 10 without all three feats (improved two weapon). If you are relying on a feat from a bracelet you can never take improved two weapon, so you should just not dual wield.

Shield and sword is actually the best combo. Better than two hander. Stick with it, maybe try finding the tower shield that is +5 vs. dragons. There is a long sword that has bonuses against dragons too, I believe.

Heal potions.
Re: NWN-orginal game WTF? (spoilers)
I knew if I bitched openingly that I would finally get it. Tried one more time, I bought a few more items to up my AC and changed a few items to add AC, also used barkskin on both of us first(forgot last times), but I think every other potion/spell I had used previously. Anyway, this time henchman didn't even die because I was able to keep the dragons on me(by the way, my AC was 34, not 27). Anyway, my 5th try went flawlessly. Got through Morag fight in just two tries, and I'm done.
Re: NWN-orginal game WTF? (spoilers)
The Morag fight I won without ever coming close to death, which I thought was weird. Tomi died, but near the end of the game he died everywhere I went anyway.
**Semi-spoiler ahead for the NWN OC**
The hardest part of the NWN OC for me was the wizard's house in the Blacklake district of Chapter one. The head wizard and his apprentices would just nuke the living @#$% out of me so I could only beat them by chugging potions. Once my paladin got a few levels and a few extra feats and magic items, casters became trivial. I'd say the last 1/3 of the game was much easier for my character than the first 1/3.

If you do the districts "out of order" they could be signifigantly harder. The Districts are setup on rough level ranges to facilitate an A -> B -> C progression, without simply straight arming you into a linear ABC play. I played through the original game as a monk, with rogue hench (using bow) way back when, really didn't have a problem. Of course I abused the heck out of knockdown and stunning fist for casters. Due to high disciplines, being assulted by large numbers of melee fighters was actually more dangerous for me.

Everything was going their way. They had just made it home without a DUI, and that called for a celebration. Time to get out the speedboat.

The easiest way to defeat those dragons is to run in between them and get one to breath weapon the other. The two will then fight, and then you mop up the leftovers
Re: NWN-orginal game WTF? (spoilers)
Late bump I know.
I finally did this part last night - never finished it when I originally played though. I noticed I had a spell that let me polymorph into a Red Dragon, Balor, Fire Giant, Slaad and some other creature.
I tried the 2 dragons while Polymorphed into a Red Dragon, Balor and Slaad and was I won 6 of the 8 times I tried the fight. The Balor and Slaad were both immune to damage from the dragons, but Fear and Paralyse still landed. The spell also lasts long enough for you to be able to clear through to Morag.
That's where I got stuck though. Couldn't seem to get past Morag's 2 henchmen. Tried attacking the stuff at the back of the room, but apart from getting torn apart by the wall of knives, I didn't seem to do much. Any suggestions?

I had a scroll of summon something (or maybe it was Planar Ally). Whatever it was, it came, kicked the @#%$ out of the henchmen, and then cracked a few brews with me.

I managed to get it done last night using a combination of EQ pulling into a hall full of traps and mass bombing with Withering Horror. Worked a charm.
