National Novel Writing Month (this thing hates me)
This board's being a pain in my butt... Third time I posted this. Maybe EZBoard didn't like me blocking their cookies.
Anyway.
I noticed several other writers are frequenting these boards. Anyone else out there sign up for National Novel Writing Month (www.nanowrimo.org)?
If so, hope you're all doing better than I...

No I. I've been aware of this bit for a few years...a bunch of my friends from an old (it was DOS-based...I mean old) writing list play every year. And every year I wonder why someone would do this to themselves. Can you answer that for for me, bro?

Yup
It's not as bad as it sounds, really. It was working to have a deadline, even an artificial one. I got more done this month than I have in some time. In fact, if I hadn't lost a week or so to extra computer work, I'd probably have made it.
But then my wallet would be $500.00 lighter, too...
