Need a new Power Supply
My current one just gave out and while trying to decide what happened to it... it finally hit me I was using the hell out of it now I need a new on and Im curious what sort of specs I should look for.
My dead on was a 300w supply and it was pushing
1.4ghz pent 4 with cooling fan,
512 Ram
Inernal power supply fan,
internal case fan.
2 HD's,
CDR/RW,
DVD Drive,
Floppy drive.
Netowrk card,
56K moden (my internet source)
Sb Audginy,
Ipod through firewaire from soundcard)
Gforce 3 500,
Keyboard (PS2 wireless)
Tablet-serial (powered by own power supply)
USB: Printer (ocassionally), Mouse, Camera (for DLing pics), Webcam.
PC speaker
Never thought about the power supply and it started out as a barebones system and just gradually kept adding things.... till now I have this monstrosaty of machinery.
with all of this how much power should I be looking for...
Newegg had some gonig upto 660 watts but i was wonering if something like 45 would be good.
and I'm hoping it'll be somthing I can upgrade with as the time comes)
I can't afford plutonium and I don't have acces to a Mr. fusion so sometihng in the range of 1.21 jigawats is a little out of my range. Other then that I think I'm goig to be okay...

To be honest that really isn't unusual; you've got one more hard drive than most people but that's only around 28w extra so it shouldn't affect what you purchase.
Looking at Newegg, the Antec SL400 is $53 and should be more than enough (and the only reason I suggested the SL400 over the SL350Blue is because it's only $3 more expensive, so you may as well get the extra power).

Thanks for the Advice
I've noticed that it's got a fan on top. Any Idea of that's going to try to pull air in or push it out. once in my case I'm pretty sure there won't be much room between the top of the power supply and the roof of the case. any speculation if that'll be a problem?

That fan isnt on top, it is just upside down so you can see the fan
