Need help with HoU Chapter 1 (note, possible spoilers)
Ok. I am in HoU, Chapter 1.

I belive its in the Sothern area (bottom of the map at least). I have gotten to a room with 3 Statues in it.

Room is marked "The Three gaurdians".

When I first came in I was able to turn the Gaurdians and flip the switches. I figured that through some combination I was supposed to have all 3 of them target the door to open in.

However, somehow in my changes I did something wrong. Now I cannot click the switches, the statues are not turning, and when I try it says they are held in place.

I have 2 basic questions:

1) What did I do wrong and how do I reset the puzzle to try again?

2) Is whats on the other side of the door even worth it? Do I need it or is it just cash loot?

Your assumptions are correct,but there is a bug issue. you will have to reload a saved game.

The key is to make sure you dont pull the lever till each statue is lined up. once a statue is lined up,use that lever.

The bug comes into play,because the statues reset every so often,just need to time it so that you dont pull the lever unless they are lined up.

Yes its worth it,you get some decent items,but it varies. If you miss it,it isnt that big of a deal either.


PS: the best item you can get early on is the sword esseric,and it can be in several formats. By using dialogue you can make it into a longsword,shortsword or bastard sword.

I have that loudmouth already...

I was just wondering if I needed anything from there in order to progress.

If there are no 'quest' items I will probably not worry about it (since I screwed up and saved after it was already locked up).

I just know that I still want my gear back and was going to be PISSED if it was in that room.

I have a dragon disicple and lost a longsword that I got online... procs fireball when it hits >: . I want it back. Immune to fire + PBAoE fire on hit = ow ow ow baddies.
