Neighbours
I was watching Coronation Street today and I really wish I lived on a street...so those kinds of dramatic things would happen! It would be so exciting!
Does that happen a lot on streets...like fights and shits? I have always thought it would be cool to live on a street in case something happened. When I lived half at home and half with my boyfriend...the neighbour kept complaining because I parked in front of his drive until eventually I started parking in the drive.
Anyway our nearest neighbour lives like quite far away but apparently is in the Italian maffia. He doesn't really live close enough to spy upon or see the comings or goings and he spends more time in Italy (probably on official Maffia business) but I live in hope one day something dramatic will happen.
So do people who live in streets like have dramatic stuff happen to them? I wish my Italian maffia neighbours were a bit more exciting personally even though I think he (the one who is in the maffia) is gay as he came round to our house one day while and tried to perve on me when I was sunbathing. His wife is weird. She also tried to perve on me when she brought round some misdirected mail. But secretly I would change my Italian maffia neighbours for anything since they are quite cool.

My street is rather dramatic, i have been the subject of hate mail! Plus i get two old grannys who complained to me about my new dog, they said it needs to be kept on a lead blah blah...They are so prejudiced as they are only saying that because my dog is a pitbull not a stupid 'handbag dog'
Plus the people next door are always having blazing rows, i try not to listen in but its difficult. Last week he was throwing all the plant pots and chairs around his garden after getting locked out!
I wish i had more camp neighbours that like to gossip and bitch.

I dunno about streets but in our close there are 2 families always fighting over who mows the lawned area beetween their two drives (fuckin silly i know!). Sometimes when their pissed theres arguments on the lawn between the 2 fathers and they fight like girls its sooo funny, the small one will jump on the fat one and ride him like a pony! (i watch all this through the garage window). Then when its all over they knock on everyones door apologising but slaggin of the other neighbour!!

Nearest neighbour is half a mile away.Bit lonely in winter. Mind you, at this time of year we get hundreds of walkers - some quite fit. Last weekend it was hot and there were some seriously fit lads, some shirtless.They like to talk to us "locals",sometimes surprised we can put a sentence together.

In the house next door to me, the owner was a sunday school teacher and part-time car thief. Once he moved out a "fashion photographer" moved in with a load of girls. Said photographer later appeared on the front page of the newspaper shot in the head in Crawley and it was found that he was a pimp and the old men darting in and out were not business partners! Then a guy moved in and died in the bath. The the former owners sister moved in, drank too much and died of alcohol blood poisoning. Last I knew before we moved the new young male occupant had been involved in a drugs bust.
Aside from that the guy down the road kidnapped a young boy who was found naked and blindfolded in the woods. We also had Kosovan asylum seekers from round the corner fighting with plant pots and machetes and had our skip searched for knives. I also had a lovely view of Maidstone prison.
Oh, and Billie Piper's step auntie lived down our road and her fat daughter wrote to the queen and went on the big breakfast to get a record deal.
Otherwise, a lovely street which I do miss from time to time!
Why do I do this....
I always seem to word it like I actually care about what other people have to say...and then I just want to kill myself when I read the replies.
This topic should really be a discussion about my Italian maffia neighbours.

Hey, shall we just get them to make a special board just for you so you can discuss yourself all day and not allow any of us meanies the time of day to say anything?
If anything it would mean less of you on the actual boards.

I always like DIRRTY CA's posts. twistedly interesting i wish i had maffia neighbours, closest ive got is german cocaine smuggling convicts. and theyre not even close to being itallian these germans are very efficient at prison sentences too. one was back not very long after being sentenced!
