The quote is from Colonel Kevin Owens, Commander of the 173rd Airborne Brigade and Combined Task Force Bayonet, while discussing the Afghan voters in the recent election there. "They were enthusiastic that their Afghan National Security Forces, both the police and the army, were present and providing a secure environment for them to vote. So you know, they were free. They were safe. And so, from my perspective, I think they were successfully executed. " Reminds me of a t-shirt I saw once.
