We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

New Student in the Cafeteria (open)
Malachi walked into the Cafeteria, dressed in as much black as possible. Black t-shirt, hanging loosely about him, black jeans and black boots. Hanging around his neck were two necklaces, a silver tribal sign, and metal circle. He went to sit by himself somewhere near the middle of the room.
"Man, how could I miss the Assembly?! What am I gonna tell the Principal?" He started eating the food, glad to atleast have something to eat.
The truth is a terrible thing to waste, so...why would I tell you the truth?
Gloria strolled through the lunchroom, well worn blue jeans riding the curve of her hips as she warnered throught the line. She clutched the thin straps of her backpack in her caramel hand, using the other to grab an apple and a orange soda. She had already eaten, her sister Gabriella had made sure of that, cooking things that you wouldnt even think about making in a dorm room. With her sister at school with her, she would never go hungry.
She made her way out of the line, swiping her lunch card on the way past the rather large lunch lady and glanced about the room. The tables were filling up fast and she needed to sit somewhere she could think atleast. She passed a quiet boy that was mumbling to himself and tilted her head intrest. With her food in hand she crept up behind him, leaning over him as he spoke out loud.
"Dont tell him anything thing....I didnt and I didnt go to the assembly either." She whispered the words in his ear, Her head hovering over his right shoulder. She grinned at the boy and plopped down across from him.

Even though Isamu sleepily walked into the cafeteria, he was still primped up. He had been up late as usual and was now feeling the after affects. All he needed was some food in his stomach and he would be back to his usual self. Making his way to the lunchline his posture was that of a caveman's.
He let out a sleepy groan and yelled at the students who held up the line. "If you all dont move you gonna be tasting the cold steel of my katana in a moment!" With that comment he was rushed to the front. He grabbed a jug of milk, a peach, a bagel, and some cereal.
He then made his way out where he handed the obese lunchlady the money and a tip, and then proceeded to the only table he could find. His head was kept down even while at the table, he was too tired to lift it up. "Konichiwa!" Was all that slipped his lips before he began munching down.

Mal jumped, startled by how quiet the girl had been. When she sat down he smiled at her. "Heh, yeah I guess, but still...So how long have you been here? I just started at this school, like, yesterday." He continued to eat after speaking, wolfing down his food. When the other boy sat down, head low, Mal greeted him. "Hey there."

Gloria parted her pink lips to say something to the boy when Ishamu joined them at the lunch table. She looked up at the sleepy boy and couldnt help but laugh alittle. He was so silly somtimes. She turned back to the new boy, sharing her warm smile with him. She crossed her jean clad legs under the table and twisted off the cap on her soda, long delicate fingers wraped around the bottle.
" Hey there Ish. Not much longer. I have only been here a week or so. You know how you stop counting as the days go by."

Isamu had been chowing down sleepily, slowly regaining energy, when he heard Gloria's voice. Isamu was never the type to be unpresentable around a lady he wanted. As if a sudden surge of power coursed through his body, He stumbled a bit, knocking some food of the table, but overall waking up and smiling.
"Heeeey!" Isamu said, he was blushing badly. 'Good way to make an ass of yourself Isamu!' "I didn't knwo you were at this table!" He finished, giving a nervous laugh.

Mal smiled at the girl and at the boy. "I'm Malachi, by the way. You can call me Mal." As he finished his food he crumpled the bag and set it aside to throw away at the end of conversation.

A loud yawn was followed by a tall girl walking into the cafeteria, chestnut orbs glancing at the crowd gathered around the new kid. She only recognized Isamu, the other two she was sure she hadn't seen before.
"Hmm... "
The thought crossed Dango's mind plenty of times as to what Isamu had been doing with his two new 'girl'friends, and just that in itself made Dango remind herself not to be jealous or question anything.
"Mr.Isamu, you really make your rounds don't you?"
She smirked, and decided to join the trio with a slight wave. After all, not too long ago Dango was the new face on campus herself.
"So is this a private party or can I make my acquaintance?"

Isamu winced at the sound of Dango's voice. 'SHIT! Alright dude, just stay cool and everything will work out. Neither of them suspects a thing, besides it not like either one is your girlfriend. All right, break the tension...NOW!'
"Ya, new students need to learn their way around school ya know!" Isamu offered her a seat. "Everyone, this is Dango. Dango thats Gloria aka Lorie and thats....I'm sorry whats your name again?"
This whole sitaution left rather alert, he hadn't had to deal with a situation this tense before.
'Didn't Dango say she wanted to be friends?'
'Yeah, so?'
'Go after lorie, she's more your type!'
'Yeah, but I like them both equally, so I cant choose now'----------------------------
What seemed like it went on for awhile was only a small moment in time. "So what's everyone up to today?" He wanted to get out of there ASAP and he wanted the girls to seperate as well.

With so many strange events occuring in a relatively short time span, Mina's first day had been quite unusual. Especially when she encountered that Angel the night before. Oh well today was another day. The cafeteria had been an area she never got to see even when she was wandering around school. Since she couldn't afford to eat out everyday, she'd have to suffer eating food from the cafeteria, she only hoped there was fries and hamburgers, you really can't go wrong with those...at least visually...or so she hoped.
Entering the caf she looked around, she had the expression of being a new student; a deer lost in the headlights. Everyone was talking and eating, it seemed there was established social groups. Sighing she joined the line which seemed rather long. She grabbed her meal pass and looked from her position at the offered food. The selection wasn't bad, she could only wonder what it was like around dinner time.
As she stood there, the line seemed to move along faster. She was about to reach into her left coat pocket when she noticed she was three people away from getting her meal. So she smoothed out her long black coat, unbuttoning a bit from the top exposing more of her white shirt. A few minutes later and she was already handing her meal pass to the large cafeteria lady. She picked up a sandwich, some fruit cups, and some drinks. She wasn't going to grab too much if she wasn't sure about the food.
Now with a tray in hand she looked around once more, her expression still mimicking the deer in the headlights. She then chose to walk in a random direction, making note of the people walking around her, she held the tray close. The path she chose lead her to Isamu and the others. They seemed to be in the middle of conversation so she decided to take the most polite course of action.
"Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, may I please sit here to eat?"

Morning? Bah. Knives hated mornings, but today he had something important to do. So, he had woken himself up early (painfully, too). And, of course, before heading off to do anything, he needed food - especially since breakfast was his favorite meal, and they rarely served breakfast when he usually woke up, about midday. So he'd headed to the cafeteria for some food today.
As Knives entered the large room through the door, one hand was atop his head, scratching it absentmindedly. A yawn escaped his mouth, which opened wide to let it out, revealing the large, sharp canine teeth that he had, which looked very much like fangs. Once he was inside the room, his blue eyes wandered the area from under half-open eyelids, searching for a familiar face. Unfortunately, it was too crowded for him to find one with his sight. But, unlike most people, he did not need to rely only on that sense. His German Sheppard ears, positioned atop his head, twitched a bit as he searched for a voice he recognized, and his nose inhaled deeply, sniffing the air for signs of his friends. Of course, his nose was his most trusted sense (him being a dog and all), so it picked up the scents of both Dango and Isamu. He blinked, and frowned. After last night, the last thing he wanted to see was the two of them together.
He sighed and wandered in the direction of the two familiar scents. It wasn't long before he came upon their table. He gave Dango a slight smile, and sat down across from her at the table, not caring too much whether the others invited him or not. It was early, he was half-awake, and irritable. Not to mention, he really wanted to speak with Dango.
"Hey...so....I'm guessing that bracelet said somethin' important, huh?" His tone was friendly and joking, not at all sarcastic; on top of that, he had a smile on his face. He didn't seem all that bothered, really, by the fact that she'd never returned.

Dango simply rolled her eyes, obviously Isamu wasn't the kind of guy she thought he was. As suspected, another girl caught his attention and he didn't want to wait around for her forever. The only man that ever did that now had no memory of her, so maybe it was for the best.
Dango wasn't the type to 'rush' into anything - and that included 'flirting to the extremes' just to make sure you nabbed some guy before another girl did. That made relationships empty, simply for the fact it was of poor character.
"Everyone, this is Dango. Dango thats Gloria aka Lorie and thats....I'm sorry whats your name again?"
Dango simply nodded to them and pulled out an empty seat, crossing her legs as she opened her box of sushi. Picking up the chopsticks, she was suddenly reminded of the time she tried teaching Knives how to use them.
Another sick feeling in the pit of her stomach.
She was having that alot recently.
"Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, may I please sit here to eat?"
"Uh - "
Dango looked up towards the girl, just in time to see Knives heading their way.
"Sure, you can have my seat"
Without so much as a glance to meet Knives gaze, Dango had stood up and pushed the chair out for the girl.
"I'm just leaving -"
"Hey...so....I'm guessing that bracelet said somethin' important, huh?"
But the question wasn't answered, Dango was already headed in the opposite direction before Knives even got the chance to hear an answer -

Knives blinked. He had suspected that something had gone wrong last night, and that she had simply found something important that needed to be done. When Dango completely blew him off - worse yet, avoided him without acknowledging his existance - Knives was rather surprised. He watched as she walked off, following her with his eyes until he could see her no more. A sigh escaped him.
Now, he was a little depressed. He turned and looked at Isamu, and glared. This situation reminded him wholly of the night that Dango had gone with Isamu to his room, leaving poor Knives alone. In fact, with the exception of Isamu's role, it was rather similar - Dango actually had left him. But Knives knew Isamu had done nothing wrong, and his look softened. Yet another sigh escaped him, and he stood up from his seat.
"Sorry I can't talk you ya'll now...uhhm...see ya..." He nodded to all of them, and turned and walked away. He moved in the opposite direction of where Dango had run off to, disappearing into the crowd. This is what he got for getting up early. So, he would just have to go back to bed and sleep in, and maybe things would solve themselves in the afternoon or evening.

Turning her head to watch the woman leave, her left eye glass shimmered. 'Certainly in a hurry to leave, I hope I didn't cause that.' She would think to herself.
"Thank you miss!" She tried to yell out as the woman left in a hurry. She then rested down her tray and took the seat she was offered. Before looking to the others at the table she closed her eyes. She meditated on not over indulging in her meal, after all right attitude was the buddhist way. Once she was in a good state of mind she began eating her food with the utensils provided by the cafeteria.
She wasn't sure just what the recent scene was but thinking it over, that woman rushed off as the new commer sat at the table. There was also further chatter before that, possibly linking more than one person together. She decided to let the thought train go, after all she didn't know any of the people around her.
Pausing for a moment she adjusted her glasses with her right hand. Her caramel skin contrasting with the bright shine over her glasses as she looked up slightly. She wasn't sure if she should introduce herself or continue to eat quietly.

Isamu let out a loud yawn as he rose from the table. He was now refueled, upset, and wanted to take another shower before work. He didnt want to seem rude leaving so suddenly, but he had a lot of plans for the day and hanging out was not required on the list.
"Sorry folks, don't mean to be rude, but I've got things to do so I might catch you all later."
He stretched a little, and gathered what was on his tray together. "See ya later lorie, and everyone else!" He gave a little wave, went off to dump his tray, and then he was headed towards the door, should someone try to stop him he might decide to stay for a little while. Mal greeted everyone in return as they came to the table. His thoughts jumped back to earlier, thinking of wanting a group of friends. His eyes began to glow a little bit blue, he was happy to have made some friends just after arriving. He watched quietly as the others made their way through the conversation. As Isamu got up to leave, Mal lifted a hand to him. "See ya later!"

Gloria opened her mouth to say something to the now gathering crowd but was met with swift goodbyes before she could even get out her normally peppy 'hello'. She frowned slightly as everyone dashed off and simply gave a wave to them. Oh well atleast she still had someone to talk to.
"So, how do you like it here so far?" She said smiling, directing her question to the new guy.

"Oh I am so sorry! How dude of me! I am Gloria, but you can call me Lorie if youd like to. Thats what I am used to."
She said with a small wink, twisting the cap of her orange soda back on tightly then releasing the damp bottle from her caramel hands and wiping off the wetness that lay there before extending it to her new friend.
"Uhh, I think since I was given a grand tour of the school I could manage to stummble about some of our buildings."

"Thank you very much, I would like to not be lost when classes start! So...What do you do with your free time? I noticed that the campus has a beautiful surrounding area." By now Mal's eyes were glowing a noticible blue. His first day and he'd already found what he hoped would be a good friend.

"Pft, nothing. This place is deader than a mourge but its still a grat place to be. You just have to know the right people. My hobby is fixing things. So, Thats normally what I do around here. That and hang out with my sister but other than that its pretty quiet around here."
She took her hand back from him, smiling warmly again she grabbed the small apple in her hand and bit it. She sat there chewing for a moment before looking up at him, noticing his strange eye color. She tilted her head in intrest but thought it best not to bring it up. How rude would that have been?
