While Filch had bunches of chains and various small torture devices around, Ignatius quickly got rid of these things. Ig may not be fond of many of the students at Hogwarts but he would rather employ them than torture them (or if he DOES torture them it wouldn't be through medieval means). However since Ig did get rid of the chains and manacles the place lacks a certain personal touch, and is very cold and dank despite the constant fire in the fireplace. Since it reminds him too much of his cell in Azkaban, he doesn't like to go there more often than he has to. The filing cabinet takes up one complete wall opposite his dusty desk. Any files over ten-years old he took and stuffed into a storage area somewhere else in the castle since he has little patience with old things but hates to get rid of them entirely. There is the classic "Confiscated & Highly Dangerous" drawer near the bottom left of the structure, but since Ignatius is a full wizard whereas Filch was a squib, the drawer is better protected and can't be opened by a simple charm. There's a fireplace behind the desk that's constantly lit, and on the wall next to the desk is a small window that doesn't offer much light. There's a bird perch next to the window for Azkaban (even though he hangs upside down) and the little bat can even open and close the window at will to enter in and out thanks to Ig's magic. He simply squeaks at the window a certain way and it'll open or close for him.
