Paradox?
Heh, this'll either give you a laugh, or make your brain hurt from thinking about it too much.

According to Murphy's Law:

A. A cat always lands on it's feet.

B. A piece of buttered toast always lands face down.

If you think these two statements are correct, then consider the following...

If a piece of buttered toast is tied to the back of a cat face up, and the cat is dropped from a height, what side will the cat land on? Feet, back with the toast facing down, or............... will it ever land?

What you guys think?

BUWHAHAHA XD

:)

It made my brain hurt, yes it did. lol.

I would say that the cat would land feet first as cat's are much smarter the toast. ;)

Plus I don't think its called Murphy's Law, as that states "What ever can go wrong will go wrong". I do believe it should be the law of Averages. :) My two cents. ;)

That is funny as heck! ^.^

Ahh, yes, that's the name I was looking for. Couldn't think of it at the time, and I was looking at my Murphy's Law poster at the time ;)

Edit: The part about the buttered toast, the aforementioned poster says: "The chance that the toast will land face down is directly proportional to the cost of the carpet."

Re: Paradox?
So if there's no carpet, then the cat should land on its feet. But if someone tied that piece of toast to my cat, she'll just end up eating it.

Re: Paradox?
I thought about that...

If the cat lands on its side, then it'll disprove the two laws stated above. All sorts of wacky things could happen if Murphy's Law isn't true, like a day where nothing goes wrong.

But then again they say Murphy was an optimist... ;)
