We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Grade: 10
Appearance: Pax is tall for a boy his age, standing at about 6’5”. He has a lithe, willowy form, not so much with the muscles for our hero. His slender frame makes his weight of 170lbs easy to see, though it is still hard to believe that he is that skinny. After all, you can see his collarbones. The boy is very pale, since he doesn’t spend much time in the great outdoors, preferring to hole up in some corner with a book or a video game. He has a nose that’s a little too large for him to be completely gorgeous, and rather full lips.
Pax has bright green eyes, flecked with spots of brown. Sometimes, if he is angry usually, though other intense emotions evoke it as well, his eyes appear more brown than green. He had rather long, curly eyelashes for a boy, which is a source of embarrassment for him. His hair is long, just past his ears, and brown, with just enough curl in it to make it unmanageable. He tends to gel his hair in place, in what he feels is a dramatic swoop over his right eye.
Pax tends to wear a white wifebeater, teamed up with a pair of blue and green plaid pajama pants. More often than not his pants are so low that you can see his boxer underneath them, though he feels that they make him look cool. To top off his usual look he wears a navy blue corduroy jacket with silver buttons, in case you thought he might actually attempt to match his clothing. He has a pair of Vans sneakers, but normally he scootches around in his dirty white gym socks.
Personality: Pax is lazy. He’d rather sit around in his pajamas playing Halo all day than actually get up and work out. Besides, then he might have to wear shorts, or pull up his pants. Not fun. He doesn’t figure himself any kind of ladies’ man, though he has found himself the centre of their attention the few times he drags his arse out of bed, but none of them struck his fancy.
He drifts towards girls who are a little on the masculine side, if he notices them at all. He’d rather spend an evening playing games with a chick who was one of the boys, than dancing around some princess with a worship me complex. Thus, he has never had a girlfriend, just lots of girls who were friends.
Pax, although he is a tough boy, absolutely despises physical exertion, or working. He doesn’t like to get out of bed before noon, and he doesn’t like to put effort into anything, ever. He does like when people do things for him, since then he doesn’t have to make the effort.
Special Power:
SHRINKING
Pax has the ability to decrease his size by half, making him only 3’2, as opposed to his usual 6’5. Any clothing he is wearing while making the change will retain its usual size parameters. The shrinking only affects him, and he tires quicker while in the smaller form. If he is injured before changing forms, his wounds will be worse, seeing as he is now smaller, but the wound remains the same. To fully shrink, it takes Pax about five minutes, start to finish, and he needs to be completely focused. If he loses his concentration while shrinking, he instataneously returns to his original size.
GROWING
Pax also has the ability to double in height. He changes from 6’5, to 12’10. He uses this ability less, since he doesn’t see much use in it, though he did use it once while working on an apple farm one fall. Again, his clothes remain their original size, and do not stretch to fit his new form. He tires easier when he is larger, since this is not the state his body is used to being in. Mind you, if he is severely wounded in either of his smaller sizes, he can increase in size and the injuries are less dangerous to his bigger form. Since Pax is less familiar with this form, it takes him about ten minutes to grow into the full size. And again, if he loses his focus, he instantaneously reverts to his original size.
History: Pax is the youngest of 8 children, so he grew up mostly ignored. This is prolly what led to him being passively antisocial and unmotivated. As a small child, he spent a lot of time sitting in his oldest sister’s lap while she played videogames. This is where his love of gaming originated. She was pretty much the only one of his siblings to ever pay attention to him, so they had a very close bond.
All of Pax’s family had special abilities, but he was the only one sent to a school specifically designed for meta-humans. His father has agility and speed, which help him out greatly on the police force; his mother could fly, though she was an airplane mechanic, so it wasn’t as useful. His siblings had an interesting array of abilities, none of them the same.
When Pax was eight he discovered his ability. He was hiding from one of his older brothers, who often beat him up when he was bored. He couldn’t fit into the space he wanted to go . . . but he just shrank, and then he fit. He didn’t think about if much at the time, but later he told his mom and was congratulated for finding his power.
Shortly after he discovered his power, his older sister got married and moved out of the family home. As soon as she did, he stopped going out anymore. He devoted all his spare time to his video games, and didn’t really notice the years pass him by. The fall that he turned 14, his mother coerced him to work at an apple farm, in an attempt to get him off the couch. While there he discovered his second power, growing. He was far too lazy to climb a ladder to reach the topmost branches, and as he stretched over his head, his whole body stretched, until he was tall enough to pluck fruit from even the topmost branches.
He got fairly decent grades in elementary school, though he never put any particular effort into it. Then, when he reached highschool, his scholastic ability plummeted. His parents soon found out that he was no longer attending classes, because the other teenagers were making fun of him for coming from a ‘family of freaks.’ To try to help him fix his problems with academia, they searched around for a school that would cater to his ‘special needs’. They found Manga High School, and enrolled him right away.
After her super-fun time at the gym, and ever so interesting meeting at the hot springs, Hawthorne felt that maybe it was time to get away from the whole thinking about Jun-Bo thing. It just wasn't helping her state of mind any. She had gone back to her room after leaving the springs, and showered off and changed. She now had her black, damp, tangled hair pulled back into a messy ponytail, which hung down her back where it left a wet mark on her black t-shirt. She was back in her Cannibal Corpse t-shirt, since it really was her favourite, and the cleanest out of her set. She had also dug back out the spiked leather bracelets and collar. She was going out into the world on her own, and she wasn't leaving without her protective gear. She put in her biggest, most obvious hoops in her eyebrow, nose and lip, but she replaced the dangling handcuff earings with hoops that matched the rest of them.
That was why she was at the mall, she had to get some new clothes. She had ruined one of her pairs of jeans to make herself a pair of gym shorts, and the pair she was
wearing now was stained and ripped. She needed new clothes, stat. She thought
about her messy hair, and decided a brush might be a good investment
too.
Moccasins scuffing lightly across the ground, she travelled through the mall, looking for a store that sold clothes she would actually be willing to wear. Most of the stores she was afraid to even enter, pretty certain that there was no way they'd carry a size 12. When did being anorexic become cool? She must have completely missed the boat on that one. Still, she was here to shop, and as loathe as she was to spend her hard-earned money, if she wanted to fit in, it was gonna have to happen. Besides, she'd still have enough for her getaway fund.
She entered the first store she came across that appeared to sell normal-size clothing. This would have to do. She walked up and down the isles. Was any of this not ugly or pink? She thought not. I can't accept your powers, but the rest looks pretty solid to me. You can go ahead and start RPing with this character, but don't use any powers until an admin has had a look at them, although I doubt they'll be rejected.
