Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Playing in the water (Kyla)
It was a bright, beautiful day outside....perfect weather. The sun was high in the sky, shining its light on the entire campus, save the different places shaded by trees, buildings, etc. Summer heat radiated about the area as well, though it was a comfortable heat - seeing as how it was New York, the summers were pretty mild. Birds sang, and animals ran about the campus, which only added to the bright, sunny mood that hung about today. It was perfect for being outside.
So, of course, Knives had decided to come outside today. In fact, he loved being outside, and would have come out whether it was sunny or not. He wandered down the path from campus, his feet carrying him in the direction he knew would take him to the lake. It was, after all, his favorite place to visit on campus so far.
Today, he would actually swim in the water; before, he had simply enjoyed watching the lake with his friend, Amber. So, rather than wear his normal clothes, the dog boy had only a pair of blue swim trunks on, leaving the rest of his well-toned body exposed. One hand held onto the end of a white towel, which he had hung over his shoulders and around the back of his neck. As he walked, with his other hand in his pocket, his deep blue eyes looked back and forth around the area, enjoying the sight of the trees, the sky, the clouds...everything about the beautiful day. A happy sigh escaped him.
After a few moments, he found himself in the clearing around the lake, and stopped. His eyes fell upon the shimmering surface of the water, the sun's glare reflecting off of the smooth water. His smile returned, this time it was large enough that it revealed his large canine teeth, which looked much like fangs. He lifted his hand up from his pocket, to scratch his head a little, before he began walking again, this time not stopping until he reached the edge of the water.
Before he left the grassy part of the ground, he pulled the towel from his shoulders, and lowered the hand holding it, until it hung limp at his side. Then, he let go, allowing the towel to flutter to the ground. Once the towel was dry and safe on the shore, he smiled and began walking into the water.
As his bare feet slipped into the shallow water, he cringed a little; despite the heat, it was somewhat cold; yet it felt good. He kept moving, now faster, each footstep making a splash as his foot hit the water's surface. He didn't stop until the water came up to his middle, right above his abs. With his arms in the air, so as not to get them wet, he laughed, shaking a little, as he tried to get used to the cold water....
"If only someone were here to play with..." He thought to himself.

So it was Kyla's second day and she was still on vacation. At home and during vacation, shed always go to the beach with her father. He was her best friend and they always had fun together. It was how they always were and she did her very best to make it that way. Through her personality and good outlook on things, her optimism made everything so much easier for her father and her. Sure, that didn't mean her power had anything to do with it, but her power was also just based off her personality. If she wasn't happy all the time, even when she was sad, her father wouldn’t be happy and that was something she did her best to make sure never happened.
At the beach, Kyla would always do fun things. She'd play in the water with her father, splashing happily and having a general good time. She'd bury her father in the sand and even make little castles on top of him. On a few occasions, Kyla even tried to hook her father out with a woman or two. She figured that her father would be happy with a girl at his side, but when she did bring one, he'd always apologize to the girl and tell her not to do it again. Of course, Kyla didn't listen and every time they went, she'd try to hook him up, but it all ended in failure. It was okay though, it was all fun and now she was going to have to do it alone.
Sure, being the daddy's girl that she was; she missed her father, but it was good for her to be alone for a while. That was why she was out here on this sunny afternoon. A good swim would help her relax a bit. Kyla was always happy and energetic, but even she needed time to whine down, as long as she was alone. But around other people, she was naturally the way she normally was, hyper. It wasn’t like she was trying to hide anything; there was just no point in wasting energy when no one was around. Kyla had seen the lake on the map when she was on her tour with Isamu and Kanami the day before this one. It seemed like a nice place to swim and it was a bit popular. It was perfect and Kyla knew she had to come.
So here she was, making her way toward the lake and dressed ready to swim. On her feet, she wore a simple pair of blue flip-flops. They went perfectly with the see-through sky blue swimming dress she had tied around her waist over the bottom half of her bathing suit. The two half was there to show in all its glory, her figure being paraded off under her sky blue bathing suit with spots of purple flowers. On her head, and to complete the outfit, she wore a nice blue hat they would look like it went to a sundress. In her arms, she carried her towel, being pure blue in color and nothing special. Making her way to the edge of the lake, Kyla dropped her towel on the ground.
She turned around and took a few steps away from the end of the land. Then, turning to face the lake again, she dashed out of her flip-flops and untied the dress around her waist as she jumped into the lake, letting the cold water rush over her body. Sure, it wasn't the healthy or neatness way to get into the water, but Kyla wasn't one to care. It was all about the fun for her. Popping her head above the surface, she rested a bit, floating and looking around to see how much swimming she could actually do. That's when she caught sight of some one else, a boy. A smile grew on her face as she lifted a hand out from the lake and waved at him. "Hey, you over there! Out for a swim, or do you just like the cold water?" She yelled out, teasing with an obvious question.
Re: Playing in the water (Kyla)
Knives had been caught up in his fun, playing in the lake. By this point, he had grown accustomed to the icy feeling of the water on his body, and had sunk in until the surface reached all the way to his neck. The ends of his long, curly hair, which fell to the back of his neck, floated about along the top of the water, having gotten wet when the water reached his neck. But as he sat there, enjoying the water, something caught his attention. The scent of another person drifted to his sensitive nose; then, soon after, his dog ears twitched at the sounds of a person approaching: the sounds of footsteps, and the cute voice and giggles of a girl. He spun around in the water, so that he could look at the shore; there, he found Kyla, who was entering the water herself.
For a moment, he watched the girl. His eyes followed her as she walked into the water, a smile growing on his face. Once she sank into the water, to the point that he could barely see her anymore, he stood up, so that his upper body was outside of the water. Droplets of the water slid down his wet body, falling back to the water below. He shivered slightly, now that the open air hit him, after being in the cold water for a while. He began to walk in her direction, wanting to meet this girl that just arrived at the lake.
Now that he'd raised himself so that more than just his head was above the water, he noticed the girl look in his direction. He gave her a big smile, even though he figured she wouldn't see it: after all, they were still a good distance from each other. He did see her wave, though, and in response, he raised both hands into the air, waving them a little back to her. his smile grew, allowing her to see his large fangs, now that he had approached enough that they could see each other in more detail.
"Hey, you over there! Out for a swim, or do you just like the cold water?" Knives stopped walking, and looked around him. He blinked, and looked back at her. He responded with a joking tone, "Cold water? Whoa!" He laughed. "Why wouldn't I swim on a day like this?" He laughed a little. After that, he continued his approach; as he came closer to her, and in essence, neared the shore, more of his body came out of the water, allowing her to see more of him. But he didn't even really notice. He just continued smiling at her.
Finally, he found himself much nearer to her. Once he figured he was close enough, he pushed off of the ground with his legs; they were strong enough that he could actually leap out of the water, and somewhat high into the air. Once at the peak of his jump, he curled himself into a ball, tucking his knees to his chest and holding them tightly with his arms. In a cannonball position, he fell towards the water, until he slammed into the surface right next to the girl. As he slid through the water's surface, it caused a large splash from the impact, the water rising up and over Kyla's head in a wave like fashion. Knives sunk a little into the water; but he quickly unfolded himself from his cannonball position, so that he could stand up again next to the girl.
As he broke the surface again, his hands wiped the water out of his eyes, and pulled his hair out of his face. His brown hair, which usually fell to his eyebrows when dry and curly, hung limp down past his eyes now, so that he had to push it to the side. It was plastered against his forehead and cheeks now, but he didn't seem to care, or even notice. He looked down at Kyla, a big, friendly smile on his face. He leaned down over her, his deep blue eyes gazing down at her, and he laughed a little. "Wanna play?"

Re: Playing in the water (Kyla)
As she waved, Kyla watched as the guy got closer and closer to her. As he did, his height grew closer and closer to her, but it still wasn't enough to be taller than her. It was funny how for being as tall as Kyla was, she didn’t have a complex about it. She never found her height to be weird or out of place. To Kyla, she was just taller than the other people around her and it wasn't a big topic. The people around her never really made a big deal about it, not even at this school. But then, in the mist of her thoughts, she caught something strange about his features. The boy had dog ears! And upon closer inspection of his teeth, he had fangs!!
Now, sure, this was a special school with special students with special powers. It would make since that you'd see alot of weird things going on around you and alot of weird people talking to you. But there are different things that one would expect to see and not expect to see. Kyla had a bit of a power. She never really considered it a power herself, but the truth is that it was. It was a simple and unnoticeable that she could easily hide. But to see some one with animal features was a bit out of the world for the poor girl. She had not seen anything of the sort before and it made her question if he was even human at all.
As her eyes widened at her features, to thoughts came to mind. There was the out-right fear of weirdness that she just saw making her want to scream. And then there was the curiosity of if they were even real or not. With the type of personality that Kyla had, her curiosity usually lead to fun and so, her natural instinct was to test their realness. But before she could even get close enough to examine the boy further, he had jumped out of the water and did a cannonball into the water next to her. She lifted her arms up to cover herself from the wave of water that would soon get her wetter than she already was.
Soaked and laughing, she battered her eyes opened to make sure no water got into them. She stood up completely like the dog boy, showing off her height and having most of her upper-body above the water. In doing so, she was also showing off her know seductively wet figure, one that caught alot of attention, especially her chest. Still laughing, she threw a fist into the air and hopped for a second. "Good one!!" She yelled out. Then, as sudden as she had jumped into the lake, she reached for his dogs ears, rubbing them between her thumb, index and middle fingers.
She blinked as she did a curious and awe-struck expression on her face as she fiddled with the ears. "Cute!!!" She yelled out again, hugging the boy like he was some kind of cute little puppy. In doing so, her breasts were mashed up against his bare chest. "Whatcha wanna play doggie!" She yelled out to him in his ear, her natural loudness both eccentric and annoying.
Re: Playing in the water (Kyla)
OOC: you make it sound like she towers over him....they're practically the same height >.> haha, it's easy to make better posts when the other person does too! ^.^
IC:
When Knives rose above the water's surface again, he lowered his eyes too look down, to watch as Kyla stood up as well. His blue eyes held her gaze, moving upwards as she rose to stand before him. When she stood up straight, Knives blinked a couple of times. She was eye level with him, so that he simply looked straight forward to look at her. This was rather strange for him; he was actually a little taller than average himself, and had always had to look down when with a girl...even many guys had been shorter than him! It didn't seem to bother him much, though. He simply gave her a big, toothy grin, cocking his head slightly and closing his eyes, making a very friendly look.
When he opened his eyes again, he couldn't help but look down. This girl was very pretty, and her body seemed to attract his attention. For just a short moment, his eyes played across her beautiful body, trailing down the seductive curves, until his gaze reached the water's surface. This took only a second, and was probably not even noticeable; he quickly returned his gaze back to her face. He wasn't one to stare, or to be rude and perverted in the least - in fact, he was raised to be a very respectful guy, especially towards girls.
At first, he had expected his cannonball to cause a few initial problems; many of the people he'd met so far were rather...well, moody. They wouldn't have appreciated getting splashed like that, and he half-expected an earful of yelling from it. But he wouldn't have even cared; he was fun-loving, and often goofy; if it had happened, he could easily turn the situation around again. But as he watched her, Knives noticed that her reaction was just as he'd hoped - she'd already enjoyed it. As he watched her hop up and down, a huge smile came over his face, and he lifted his own hands into the air slightly, his arms still relaxed as he did so. "Yeah! I know, it was good, huh?" He beamed. She seemed, so far, to be just as fun-loving and energetic as he could be - little did he know, she was probably was moreso than him.
While he stood there, beaming down at her, he noticed her hands moving for him. He blinked and leaned back slightly, not really knowing what to expect. After all, people usually warned him before touching his ears; and the majority of them weren't forward enough to touch without being offered first. As his eyes followed her hands, he noticed them moving upwards. Once they moved out of his field of vision, he understood what she wanted to do, and smiled, returning his gaze to her face. He nodded, and lowered his head slightly, tilting it forward so that his ears were closer to her, easier to access.
He felt her fingers begin to pet and scratch his ears. A look of utter happiness washed over his face; his eyes were closed, and a smile was on his lips. His dog ears were quite sensitive, and he always loved having them petted: which was very obvious by the way he was acting. He pressed his ears into her hands more, nuzzling happily, wanting her to continue, not to stop. But she did, unfortunately. He sighed as her hands moved away from his head, and then opened his eyes to blink when she hugged him. He laughed a little, his hands moving to wrap around her in motion to return the hug. It was rather surprising; she was far more forward than even he was. He laughed a little. He couldn't help notice the soft feeling of her breasts pressing against him: after all, he was a guy. But he was more mature than many guys. Though he enjoyed the feeling, he knew it meant nothing, and therefore did not dwell too much on it.
"Whatcha wanna play doggie!" He laughed a little, his ear twitching in response to her voice so close to his, and the soft, warm feeling of her breath on his sensitive ears. He leaned back slightly, just enough that he could look at her. His arms were still wrapped around her waist, holding her lower half against him; although in order to look at her (especially since they were eye-level), he had to lean back enough that her breasts no longer pressed against him. It was a sacrifice; but it wasn't too big of a deal.
"Weeeeeeell....you could always rub my ears more!" He laughed; he was sort of joking. "Or....we could wrestle!"
He smiled at her, giving it a moment to see if it registered in her mind. But it was only a moment; not long enough for her to make a defense. And then, he pushed with his legs, arms pulling her more tightly against him, so that he fell forward, straight into her, pushing her down as well. They both hit the water's surface with a splash, and slid into the water.

Re: Playing in the water (Kyla)
As the dog boy returned her hug, Kyla felt a bit awkward for the moment, having some one put their arms around your waist never gave the feelings one would expect, even if it was just playfully. But because Kyla was as forward as she was and she was open, she didn't mind. She wasn't an uptight and stuck up girl that was afraid to be touched. She could handle herself and wasn't afraid of what a possible pervert might do. She saw him more as a cute dog than an actual person and that would be how she referred to him, whether he liked it or not. Hearing him and his game, Kyla laughed to herself as she was put straight into the water. Him being a dog and all, she should have expected him to want to wrestle. What else did you play with your dog, aside from fetch?
Kyla had never actually had a pet before. It wasn't that she couldn't take care of them or that she couldn't afford one. It was just that the thought of a pet never really crossed her mind. If she were to have one, a dog would fit her most. With her father being a police officer, she was often at the station and liked to play with the police dogs that were there. It was no surprise that Kyla had an affinity for dogs, but only so much. It went the same for boys as it did for pets. While Kyla never really had a big share of friends, she never actually had a boyfriend either.
Just by looking at her, it was obvious that her looks weren't the problem. She had an addictive personality, though there are those that would be annoyed by it. The reason she had never really went out with anyone was because it was never really on her mind. Unlike most teenagers her age, the opposite sex was something she never really concerned herself with. Being the daddy's girl she was, her attention and focus was being happy with her father and while that limited the amount of friends she had, it left no room for any kind of relationship. It wasn’t that she'd intentionally push away a guy; it was just that she was so focus on being her that she was what you would call dense. Just like how Kyla herself was straightforward, it was always best to be straightforward with her.
But now, the two things have combined. On top of her in the water was a pet and a boy, but they way Kyla saw it, he was just a pet. A friend to have fun with and play with and her mind were far from any thoughts of a relationship. Popping her body out of the water and over the surface, she laugh, wiping her face with her soaking hands real quick and looking for her doggie-friend. Seeing a glint of his body under the water, she smirked, spring herself toward him in an attempt to catch him under her. "Gotcha now doggie!!"
Re: Playing in the water (Kyla)
Knives laughed as she squirmed from his arms underwater, the air that escaped from his mouth turning into bubbles. During the laugh, he couldn't help but inhale, causing water to flow into his mouth and down his throat; just a little bit got into his lungs, but it was enough to make him begin choking. He immediately rose up, standing up to bring his head above the water, and began coughing and hacking loudly.
Just when he was able to take a breath, he felt an impact. Something hit him in the back; he knew right away that it was the body of Kyla, the girl he was playing with. He had been caught off guard, not expecting her to jump on him, and immediately fell underwater. Before his face sunk, he was able to inhale a deep breath, his cheeks puffing a little as he kept the air within him.
He sank under the water, falling in face first; his eyes were closed, and his hair was flowing about his head, possibly in Kyla's face. Once they sank a little bit, he began to squirm, writhing himself until he was facing her again, and he could open his eyes to see her. With a smile on his face, he put his arms around her waist, squeezing her tight against him, and stood up. At that moment, he swept her up so that he was carrying her, her body laying in his arms; he lefted her high into the air, and then let go, letting her fall into the water in front of him.
"Who's got who?"

Re: Playing in the water (Kyla)
Kyla squirmed a bit as Knives slipped from her grasp. Then, only moments later, she felt herself being lifted up and out of the water. As her head emerged, she grasped a bit before being dropped back into the water again. Standing up quickly, she laughed as she wiped some of the water from her soaking face. "I guess you got me doggie!" She said teasingly and then without warning, grabbing his ears again. "But doggie has a weak spot!" She said laughing as she started to scratch behind his ears.
She knew dogs loved that, sometimes too much, but with him being a dog-boy, she was curious as to how much it would affect him. "You like that doggie!?" She questioned as she relentless attacked his ears. After a few good minutes, she let them go, sticking her tongue out to tease him. She glanced back a her stuff lying in the grass and then faced him again.
"So doggie, what do you wanna play now!?" She started, an idea popping into her mind shortly after she finished speaking. "Or better yet, I should give my doggie a name." She said, claiming him as her pet unintentionally. "How about Keegan!? My daddy said if he had a son, he'd name him that. So it’s the perfect name for a pet!"
Re: Playing in the water (Kyla)
"Yeah, looks like I did get you!" He laughed a little, standing up straight, putting his hands on his hips, and a proud look on his face. But he couldn't hold that very long, before he burst out laughing at himself again. In doing so, he became slightly distracted from Kyla: just enough for her to grab his ears without him noticing.
As he felt her fingers scratching at his ears, the look on his face turned into one of pleasure, complete with a big smile on his face. He nuzzled his ears into her hands, groaning happily a little bit in response. His ears were very sensitive, one of his most sensitive places: and he loved getting them scratched.
He blinked as she removed her hands, and frowned a little, opening his eyes again to look down at her. "Aww, that's all?" He sighed, and gave her a bit of a disappointed look; but it was obvious by his eyes that he wasn't serious about it.
"Or better yet, I should give my doggie a name." He blinked, and then scratched his head. He smiled a little, and then gave her a shrug. "Well....you could..." He dragged out "could" for a moment. "But I do already have a name..."
"How about Keegan!? My daddy said if he had a son, he'd name him that. So it’s the perfect name for a pet!"
He laughed again. "Keegan, huh? You wouldn't rather call me Knives?" And then, he heard the last part: a pet. Again, he laughed, and then reached out with his hand and ruffled up her hair. "So I'm your pet now, huh?" He smirked, and hesitated a short moment, before shrugging. "Ok, works for me!"
