We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Quiet Reading (Arion!!)
Lucas had been in the library for a little while now. For a student who had only been at the school for a short while, he seemed to know his way around the library well enough. He sat down at the same desk he always went to. After being in the stacks for a short while, Lucas made his way back to his desk. There were quit a few books already there, and the few in his hands only added to the collection.
As he sat down, it was as if Lucas disappeared because the book stacks were so high. It was odd that he had so many books because he was only reading one. It was the classic Romeo and Juliet, he was reading it the day before in the park but was interrupted by Hawthorne. Though the young poet had already read it before, it was still an interesting thing to read over and over again.
Finally, one of the best places Arion could think to go in this new school! Mountains upon mountains of new books, all just waiting to be read! New discoveries, adventures that she dared only to dream about!
Now, normally, she would have easily found the newest book she could and start reading that. However, her piercing brown eyes fell on Sir Thomas Malory's Le Morte D'Arthur. Something about this story all seemed to take her back to the times when she lived over in Scotland. Before her mother died, she used to sit up and tell these stories to Arion all the time. Now that she was dead, it was Arion's time to read these to herself...time to wake up from the dream she lived in for so long. She tended to realize that alot lately.
Suddenly, she heard someone stir and turned around to see a young guy sitting and reading Romeo and Juliet. She sighed when she thought of the sweet and tragic plot that surrounded the characters. She only hoped that one day, a love as strong as that would reach her.
"You like Romeo and Juliet?" she asked quietly, remembering this was a Library.

The voice startled Lucas a little. He was very into the story at that time and wasn't aware of what was going on around him. Taking the reading glasses from his face, Lucas looked up to the stranger and greeted her with a friendly smile. It was as if reading Romeo and Juliet made young ladies come up and talk to him. He thought on that for a moment, it wasn't his intention for that kind of thing to happen.
" Yes I do. Have you read it?" Lucas asked, brushing his hair back out of his eyes. He mentally cursed himself for not introducing himself first. Standing up, Lucas extended his hand to her. " Pardon me. My name is Lucas Reed." he introduced.

Arion smiled at him, he seemed particularly sweet.
"My name is Arion McAndrews," she said, her accent playing into her words. Suddenly something kind of funny occured to her. Here he was, trying to read, and she was interuppting him.
"I'm sorry, I'm interuppting aren't I?" she said, sitting down with Le Morte D Arthur in her hand.

Lucas looked at her, a little surprise in his face, as he shook her hand. He was surprised by her accent. " Your Scottish?" Lucas asked. He still had a smile on his face as he motioned for the young lady to sit down. Lucas was always very polite, even to the people that were his friends. He couldn't help it, he was always polite and charming towards people.
"I'm sorry, I'm interuppting aren't I?"
Lucas laughed lightly at the girl. Her innocence reminded him a lot of his roommate Stella. His mind slowly drifted to that white haired beauty he was so lucky to be living with. Lucas shook thoughts of her out of his mind quickly. He tended to go on little speeches about her if he ever had the opportunity. " No no, it's alright. I've already read it anyway." He replied.

Arion smiled and tok the seat that was offered her and nodded when he asked of her name being Scottish.
"Yes, I am Scottish...and have known none other place but there until coming here."
He seemed to have a dreamy look in his eyes, maybe he was thinking about Scotland? No, she smirked to herself, he was probably thinking about someone. She knew that look in any eye, it was the same look she had only been given once...
"No, no, it's alright. I've already read it anyway."
She looked down at the book she was holding and then softly smiled again.
"Sounds like this one, have you ever read it? Malory's LeMorte DArthur?" she said, holding the book up and then clinging it close to her as if it were some stuffed animal.

Lucas nodded at what she said. " So you lived in Scotland all your life? What's it like living there?" He asked, an interested tone in his voice. Lucas had never been out of America before, so he was interested in learning about different kinds of places. And why not ask someone who lived there all there life?
"Sounds like this one, have you ever read it? Malory's LeMorte DArthur?"
Lucas shook his head. " No, I haven't. But I think I have it here somewhere." He replied, breifly searching his piles for the book. There were so many that eventually he gave up looking for it. " Well... somewhere anyway." He added, laughing lightly. Lucas looked to the book as she held it up. " What's it about?" He asked.

When he asked about Scotland, immediatley, she thought of the home life...
Blinking her eyes, she smiled softly to herself. No, this was not the time for that. Then, she remembered the scenery, the beauty, the majesty...and the yearning.
"It has been difficult...I've been..very sheltered, shall we say. So, things here are new and different to me...but I like it. It's good to meet new people."
"What's it about?" he asked.
"Well, it's the story of King Arthur...my mom...used to read them to me..." she stopped herself...she mentioned her mother...

Lucas looked to her with concern in his eyes. Something must have happened to her mother. That would explained why she stopped talking all of a sudden. He moved his chair over beside hers and reached over, putting his arm around her and rubbing her arm lightly. He didn't like it when he made people sad, but it seemed to be happening to Lucas quite a bit lately.
Just like with Sakura and how his words brought her to slight tears because he reminded her of something. He stopped that by hugging her, even if she was a stranger to him. " Arion, are you alright?" He asked quietly, his voice full of concern, the same type that was in his emerald eyes.

She looked down when he touched her arm and then took in a gasp of surprise when he suddenly hugged her. For a moment, she didn't know what to think, but as time went on, she just smiled and hugged him back. It was good to have someone who cared.
"It's ok...really...it's just, my mom she-"
'I killed her...' she told herself but she refused to say that outloud.
"-She's dead and...well, I read this when I want to think of her and well...it makes me homesick and I miss her alot. But that's ok, right? The more you miss a person, the more they meant to you," she said, finally interlacing her accent into her words. SHe normally could control it but when she got emotional and spoke of her home or her mother, she spoke it readily.

Lucas nodded. He knew what it was like to lose someone close to you. If she trusted him enough to share something like that with him, then it was only right that he tell her a secret back. " My grandfather died two years ago. He was like a father to me, because mine was always busy with his work. He helped me train my powers. Before he died, he gave me Jon." He explained.
That might cheer her up! Lucas reached into his pocket and pulled out a small toy soldier. He removed his hands from Arion and held the toy in them. Once the yellow glowing light passed through his hands from his heart to the toy, the soldier, Jon, jumped off the plastic. Lucas set him down on the desk and placed an arm around her, just for comfort. " Arion, this is Jon." He said.
Jon, the toy soldier, ran to the end of the desk and looked up to her. He motioned Lucas to move down to him, and he did. " She's pretty!" He whispered, but it was loud enough for her to here. Lucas laughed as he moved back again. Jon climbed up a book pile and looked to the girl. " Aw girly, don't look so down! You're in Lucas' arms, he'll take care of ya." The toy said.
Arion's eyes widened when she saw the little Toy Soldier come to life. She gasped as it jumped off and smiled in delight as if began to walk around and talk as if it were human. Lucas gently put an arm around her and she smiled at his friendly-ness.
At the Soldier's remarks she just smiled and reached forward to pat the top of his tiny head.
"I have no doubt, Sir. I think Lucas is doing a very good job. Tell me, Sir, what do you think would make me happy?"

John took a seat at the end of the book pile and began to think about it. He could think of plenty of things, but nothing Lucas would be willing to do. " Well that, little lady, is something you have to tell us." John began. He looked at Lucas. He'd known the boy for years, and knew that Lucas didn't like making people upset and would do almost anything to correct his mistakes, even if they were unintentional.
" I'm sure Lucas would be delighted to try and make you happy, you just have to let him know what's what." John explained.

Arion laughed at the Soldier's remarks and tilted her head at what he said.
"'Let him know what's what'? I don't believe I quite know what you mean?" she said, laughing gently. She looked down and smiled at the toy soldier.
"What do I like? Hmn. Mythology, soft things, sleep and... sweet things," she said, smiling. She looked to Lucas with an almost unbelieving look in her eyes. "How do you do this?" she asked, a smile of excitement spreading across her face.

Jon sighed at her. " The generation of kids today. It wasn't like this back in my day." He explained. Lucas simply laughed at the small soldier. " I believe he means you should let me know what would make you happy. He's sometimes hard to understand." Lucas explained. Jon took off his plastic shoe and threw it at Lucas. " You kids just don't listen!" He replied.
"What do I like? Hmn. Mythology, soft things, sleep and... sweet things,"
" Do you like music? Lucas plays the saxophone. And he reads a lot, and he writes a lot too. A real book worm this kid is." Jon explained. Lucas passed him his shoe back and Jon slipped it back on his foot. " Stop it Jon, she probably doesn't want to hear about what I do." He said to the soldier. He mentally took in all the things she'd mentioned, just as he did in any other conversation.
"How do you do this?"
Lucas looked over to Arion and smiled. " I use a small portion of my own energy and send it to inanimate object so they are able to live off what I give them, like a battery." He explained. " Once they lose the power, the memories of all they see and do are stored inside them. They have there own personalities, there just like real people." He added.

Arion laughed and giggled to herself as the little toy soldier started to speak again.
"Sorry if I tend to speak without thought, my lord, but I fear I have had limited eperience with other humans as refined as yourself, sir," she said with a respectful bow to the head.
"An I would love to hear about what Lucas does, as he seems to be a unique person. That is, if he would be so kind as to tell me," she said, throwing a friendly smile at him.
As she listened to what Lucas did to make the toy come to life and her eyes widened with delight.
"That's...amazing!" she said, almost breathlessly. She bent her face down to look closer at the soldier. "I wish I could do something like that! To have such power over objects...it seems almost like a fantasy...like something in a book! He's so small, he could pass as a Sidhe!"

" Lucas is the kinda boy that doesn't like talking about himself. He's more of a listener, the quiet type. He loves music and poetry and all that kinda stuff." Jon explained. Lucas looked to him with a confused look in his face. What was he trying to do, set them up? Did Jon not realise that Lucas wanted to be with his roommate Stella? He was there, he met her, and Lucas was quite certain he'd already told Jon how he felt about the white haired goddess that was so close and yet so far.

A Sidhe? That was something that both Lucas and Jon didn't know about. Lucas made a mental note to read up on what it was. " A Sidhe? What's that?" He asked, with genuine interest in her voice as he spoke. Jon, in a round about way, was going to ask the same question. However he didn't feel the need to because it had already been asked.
