famousmales forums Bonus Ball Contest – Rules
To enter this contest you must be a member of the forums. Membership is free and automatically awarded to to when you first post on fmforums.
BASICS
• The contest involves choosing a number between 1 & 49.
• Numbers ending in 7 are not available for choosing ( 7, 17, 27, 37, 47 ).
• Each participating member may choose only one number and must donate £1 to the fmf2004 fund for entering. Donations must be via the Bonus Ball Fastpay email address. Paypal entries will NOT be accepted.
• The contest will conclude on a chosen Wednesday the date of which will be clearly stated on the game screen. On that Wednesday evening’s main UK Lotto draw, the number of the BONUS BALL will be deemed the winning number of the Unlucky7 contest.
• The member who had chosen the winning number will receive via Fastpay, the total amount donated for that contest (the pot).
• If a number ending in a 7 wins, the pot enters the main fmf2004 appeal fund.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
• Choose your number by replying to the active “Choose Your Number” topic in this forum. Numbers are allocated on a first come – first served basis. Numbers ending in 7 cannot be chosen.
• Your chosen number will be allocated to your username on the game screen once you have requested it, as long as it is still available. Your number will only become ‘live’ for the game once your donation has been received. Only live numbers can win.
• Donations will only be accepted via Fastpay (www.fastpay.com). You must be over 16, a UK resident with either a UK Bank Account, Debit Card or Credit Card. Fastpay accounts take up to 3 days to set up and become active: you should bear this in mind when you set up your account.
• Fastpay charges 20p for each send money transaction. You may enter for one game ( £1 donation + 20p fee = £1.20 ), 4 or 10 games ( £4/£10 donation + 20p fee = £4.20 or £10.20 ). If you win you will receive the pot (possible £42) minus a 20p fee (total possible winnings £41.80). Entries sent without the 20p fee will not be accepted as a live entry (ie: if you forget to add the 20p.. so we only receive 80p (your £1 – 20p) then your entry is not valid)
• Donations must be received before 9pm, the Tuesday before the draw. If you chose a number and we did not receive your donation before this time, your number would not be valid for that game.
• One number per member only.
• If you pay for 4 games then your number choice will be entered for all 4 games. You CAN however change your choice if you wish by picking a new number before the Tuesday 9pm deadline.
• If you just pay for 1 game your number will be available for anyone to choose for the next game.
• If the winning number has not been chosen by anyone, the pot is frozen and added to the next games pot. You still have to enter the next game, your entry will not be carried over.
• An ‘Unlucky7’ is a winning number ending in 7 ( 7, 17, 27, 37, 47 ). The pot is transferred to the main fmf2004 fund which pays for the forums in 2004.
• In the unlikely event of a Wednesday night lotto draw not occurring, the game will be frozen until the next Wednesday night draw.
• The game might not be played every week. The game screen and forum will indicate the next draw date.
• Occasional supergames will be held for a larger pot. Details will be published in advance.
• It is your responsibility to maintain your fastpay account and ensure donations are submitted in time. Famousmales.com will not be held responsible for any error or loss caused by the game.
• Members who choose numbers are expected to donate and enter the live game. Members who regularly choose numbers but do not donate in time may be excluded from future games.
Remember.. it’s not the winning.. it’s the taking part that counts
All money collected by the game goes to help the forums stay on the air.
