Age: 15
Code: Rita Skeeter, Illegal, and Animagus
IC
Name: Raechael Tyrno
Nickname(s): Rae
DOB: September 21, 1969
Blood: Half-blood (Half-veela)
Previous School/House: Hogwarts, Ravenclaw
Subject To Teach: Transfiguration
Qualifications: Through all her years at Hogwarts, Raechael spent most of her time learning and memorizing three subjects - Potions, Charms, and Transfiguration. Over the entire seven years at the school, she had chosen to spend the next four years specializing in Transfiguration teaching, spending the time in Scotland under the supervision of one of the most known Transfiguration professor in the country. Afterwards, she spent a good amount of time trying to perfect her Transifiguration skills before searching for a job.
Physical Appearance: Raechael stands at a height of five foot, two inches, much smaller than the average height of someone her age. Her weight is just a bit underneath average for her height, weighing in at 103 exactly, a bit overweight from her goal, 95. Her body is built very thin, but yet a small bit of muscle in her legs and calves, most likely from constant running. Her body is in a rather common proportion, her legs slightly longer than her torso. Her face structure looks almost as if it belongs on her body, the thinness of her body melting with the heart-shaped face. Her cheekbones are high, defined against the milky, moonstone color of her skin, and flushed slightly red. Her nose, however, is a bit small for the shape of her face, almost seeming mousey, and the end slightly flat. Her lips are neither thin, nor are they full, but lie in between the two.
Raechael’s hair falls around her collarbone in loose, scarlet ringlets, stopping just under an inch from the bone. The color, though obviously red, has few selections of orange-gold highlights, carefully chosen throughout the length. From a distance, her hair seems course, thick, but in reality, the texture is more silky and thin. There appears to be no real style to the hair, but more at a length and curled to fix however is chosen. Her almond-shaped eyes are a deep and dull emerald green, the only real color on her face, outside of her rosy lips and hair, though filled with happiness with the slightest smile. Resting about a half an inch above her eyes are her eyebrows – looking almost professionally plucked, and a bit pointed at the crest.
Her clothing doesn’t exactly match the rest of her, but does match her personality. Much like her personality, her wardrobe is bright, lively, but also consists of darker colors. Usually, her type of clothing consists of brightly colored sweaters over neutral, white, or black tank tops that scoop to just above her bust. On her legs normally sit a pair of dark denim jeans that hug her muscled legs, flaring out at the ankles. On her feet is usually a pair of tennis shoes, or heels – depending on her mood for the day. On rare occasions, however, does she dress up a little bit more, donning skirts or more dressy tops. No matter how much she wears jeans and sweaters, her favorite outfit is a long-sleeved red shirt, tightened around her elbows and flowing around her wrists, and a pair of red, orange, and black pinstriped pants, with a pair of knee-high red leather boots.
Raechael can never be found without her two favorite pieces of jewelry – her mother’s wedding ring, silver, with a pearl on the face, and leaves along the band, and her mother’s friend Jenie’s necklace, a light pink crystal butterfly. She never moves her mother’s ring off of her left hand middle finger, and only takes off Jenie’s necklace when she bathes or goes to sleep. To match her pastel color scheme with her jewelry, she normally paints her fingernails a soft, baby pink or a pearl white color. The length of her nail is usually short, just barely grown from the edge of her finger. The condition of her nails is usually kept under maintenance, being clipped every month or so.
Though Raechael is in her thirties, she hasn’t done much to her appearance since her days at Hogwarts. She still has her ear piercing from her days before school, usually wearing large hoops, silver or gold, depending on her outfit for that day. However, one large change has been made to her appearance – after graduating, she received a tattoo of a dragon, wrapped around a rose, placed on her right upper-arm, right on her muscle. Along with her tattoo and piercing, she also has a small, distinguishing scar, against her collarbone. The shape of the scar is a small semicircle, trailing from the inner edge of her left collarbone to the inner edge of her right collarbone, the color slightly copper-toned. To match the color of her scar, the only makeup she wears is neutral tones – usually a gold-toned eye shadow with black eyeliner and mascara.
Her favored expression is her trademark half-smile, tilting up the left side of her face in a way that could almost be called a smirk. Her posture, however, is extremely relaxed – slouched, carefree.
Personality: Raechael is a carefree spirit, one that doesn’t care about basically anything at all. One could call it bravery, but it’s more described as careless, stupid. Even during her schooling days, she did things that some people would consider stupid – like jumping off of the Astronomy Tower onto a broomstick successfully. For her half-species, she inherited the stupidity of humans, and the seductiveness of veela. A side effect of the seductiveness is spunkiness, and carelessness. So, in all, she inherited both the spirits of the most careless creatures in the entire world. Her seductiveness would be her downfall – anytime she meets a man, or someone who looks halfway interested in her, her carefree spirit mixes with the hereditary seducing that she was born and raised to create. Along with her natural personality, over the years she’s crafted her own small traits.
The way she is around man is extremely different than the way she is around woman. Her personality with her friends is completely laid back, comfortable with them and who she is. Though never sorted into Hufflepuff, she is known as a generally loyal woman, more to her friends than any relationship she has ever had. In her mind, the greatest thing in the world is friendship – after all, the greatest relationships were built on friendships. Like any person that’s comfortable around friends, she’s known to get a bit hyperactive, overly so.
Around people she doesn’t know at all, she’s like a block of ice. She’s totally shut out to the world until the person proves to her that they mean her no harm. Though made of ice – one of her nicknames being the Ice Princess – Raechael has her weak spots in her personality. Her weak spots for relationships, whether friendship or more, are very few. Such weaknesses consist of extreme niceness, or threat of a challenge. For example, if you pose her a challenge as hate, then she’ll fight until she makes you like her even more.
Another of her weaknesses is she’s almost too forgiving. If you make her mad at you one day, there’s no telling whether or not she’ll be mad the next day – she usually isn’t. Though forgiving, some scars run deeper than the skin, marking the heart. Such scars, for her, never heal. However, her magical weaknesses extend far. In all her schooling career, the only class she has ever excelled in has been Charms – so naturally, she isn’t as great in the rest. Like most wizards, she has a low patience level, and therefore, horrible at History. Raechael also can’t think past the idea that things are planned for her, so naturally she hates Divination and Astronomy.
Her strengths, however, are much more rare. Her personality strength is that she’s sarcastic – almost too sarcastic, and fun loving. Disregarding her loyalty and her almost Gryffindoric bravey, her intelligence outshines the both, and her love for being rebellious. Her magical strength lies in Charming – memory charms at the greatest. Throughout her history at Hogwarts, she put all of her power into her friends and charms.
Raechael is one of the many people who cannot live without caffeine – basically being just a person staring into space without any. However, with her caffeine, she’s wild, even more carefree than her natural personality would allow. Some of her friends believe she should be fed caffeine daily, so that she doesn’t drown out any of her emotions with anything stronger.
She’s also very honest, unless she needs to lie for the ones she loves. She feels that if her friends or family are in enough danger, she’ll go the extra length to make sure they’re safe, and they stay that way – even if she has to sell her soul to do it. Besides her lying every so often – to save her own hide, or those of the ones that she cares about – Raechael is a brutally honest woman.
Though she isn’t human, she has the temper of a redheaded one – short, and like a bomb. If someone angers her enough, she explodes, and sometimes even curses. If she’s having a bad day, she’s bound to explode on anyone that gets in her way – even if it’s the person she cares about most in the world. Usually things that push her to the edge are insulting people she cares about in her presence to being nice to her, then flinging the worst thing ever in her face. Raechael is also a very emotional woman. Her heart breaks easily, and she’s known to drown out her feelings with firewhiskey, or anything stronger that she can get her hands on. Though it doesn’t happen often, she occasionally locks herself in her room for weeks on end with minimal food and drink.
Her hobbies and interests aren’t extremely original – she loves to write songs, both angst and love songs, lyrics and tune. When she’s at her home in America, her main hobby is perfecting her songs, playing her guitar. When she doesn’t write her songs, she’s normally found writing something – from a novel to an entry in her diary. Her bedroom has piles of diaries in the closets, packed in boxes, or blank ones for further use. Along with writing, she enjoys painting and reading about anything and everything. However, even with how much she is artistic, she can’t stand most art or songs released during this time. Instead, her favorites are centered around movies and books, not paintings or music. Her favorite book is Jane Eyre, a very famous yet classic book, and her favorite movie Dead Poet’s Society.
What she finds attractive in a partner and in a friend are almost the same thing, with small variations. For a partner, she wants loyalty, honesty, and the ability to be nice, along with the ability to love. For friends, she isn’t as strict – in fact, more careless with her choices. The only two guidelines for her friends is that they are honest and loyal to her.
Raechael only has two fears, and her fear for those are strong. Her first fear is that she’ll be locked in a cage, forced to watch the ones she cares about die, where she could have helped them. Her other fear, which is greater than her first, is that she’ll open up to a guy and he’ll do the same, then shoot her down.
Raechael is a woman who is proud of whom she is. If someone has a problem with her personality, she’s normally the first one to take it up with him or her, personally. She won’t change her personality just to fit in with a certain group, nor will she change if someone wants her to.
History: Raechael’s parents, Samuel Farsh and Jasmine Tyrno, conceived Raechael as a drunken mistake – it happens every now and then. So when Jasmine found out that she was pregnant, Raechael was on the line between life and death – or abortion and life. In the end, Jasmine chose to keep Raechael as her own daughter, only after putting a memory charm on Samuel Farsh. Raechael herself was born in a small glade outside of Bristol on the morning of September 21, just when the leaves started to turn. The glade was also known as Fjord, a town entirely built into trees. Fjord was almost unknown to outsiders, having a charm on the outer limit that confused wanderers as they entered, making them forget where they were going, and going back to where they came from. About 3 months after Raechael was born, Samuel escaped from the forest, never knowing that he even had a daughter.
For nearly eight years, Raechael bloomed from infancy, to being a toddler, to being a child. Her childhood was like any child's would be – playful, careless. She enjoyed her childhood out of the rest of her life the most, being more careless and playful than she is now. Over the first eight years, she got along wonderfully with her mother and her mother’s band of friends – Jenie, Daranthian, and Soya. Out of all of her mother’s friends, she was closest to Jenie, who spent most of the time around her.
At the age of nine, Raechael experienced her first amount of magic, though very small and nature based. She had just been sitting underneath a tree, and willed a vine to grow out of the ground. The occasion only happened once, and was her first sign of any sort of magic that she might possess. When she turned eleven, Raechael received a letter accepting her to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her mother, at first, was reluctant, until a month later, when she went hunting with the hunters of the town. When the hunters returned, they were carrying her mother – dead, from wild wolves. So, with no one to hold her back, Raechael waited out the current term, before making her way to Hogwarts. Once there, the Sorting Hat had a bit of a problem – whether to sort her in Slytherin, or Ravenclaw. In the end, it chose her for Ravenclaw.
Raechael’s first few years at Hogwarts were basically uneventful – basically spending her every waking hour on studying or trying to get friends, someone to talk to. By the time she reached her fifth year, she had her own private circle of friends, all in Ravenclaw house, all the same year as her. However, the year she turned 17 – her sixth year, she found out some information about her father. That year, his daughter, or her half-sister, Kali Farsh, was to arrive at the school, for her first year. Kali was quickly sorted into Gryffindor. For years, she had been determined to find her father, to get some information on him, to know him without meeting him.
The rest of her Hogwarts years passed with almost no consequence, except for her meeting William Barnes, a year ahead of her, also termed as the hottest guy of his year. The two dated for the rest of her time at Hogwarts, and when Raechael went to Moonshine Academy in Scotland, they were still together.
It was sometime during her third year at Moonshine when Voldemort was defeated - of course, during that time, she was too absorbed in her relationship with William to really pay attention, but she did pay enough attention to celebrate with those in her year. After all, it was the fall of the Dark Lord - who wouldn't celebrate?
Shortly after her graduation, William proposed to her, but also revealed a secret – he was a Death Eater. Merely a week later, he revealed to her that he had been cheating on her, with her half-sister. So Raechael and William split up, William and Kali getting married the summer after.
Though it was hard for Raechael to get over the breakup – still tormenting herself to this day – Raechael put all of her heart in her educating – moving from Charms, to Defense Against the Dark Arts, to Transfiguration, to Charms again, and finally settling on Transfiguration. She couldn’t make up her mind on which class she should take, after all – all three were taken at Hogwarts and Moonshine. So when she saw the open spot at Hogwarts for Transfiguration, she packed her bags.

The two of them seemed so lovable in the picture, the couple smiling and waving out of the painted gold frame. William looked so happy, so much like the man she had known him to be, but the woman next to him was foreign. Kali Farsh, how she hated even thinking the name. It was hard to live with the fact that her beloved William had left her for that piece of filth, that piece of trash that didn't deserve to be called a Farsh. After all, she should know - she was one of the Farshes.
Raechael sighed, stepping back from the mantle of the fireplace, that held the one and only picture of her William. It was a summer day, one of the last before the school was infested with the twerps, or students. She loved teaching, but the students were naive - almost too naive. She had spent 7 years at the school, just starting about 20 years back. She'd arrived alone, except for some pointers from her beloved older cousin, Destopian Tyrno. She loved him like the brother she never could have, him and his friends. She had heard so many horrible things about the people at the school, the classes that were taught. Most of all, she was warned never to be a Slytherin - and what house had she landed in? Slytherin.
Oh god, how she hated her school days. Long, hard, and pointless. It wasn't until well into her third year when she actually gained a friend, the friend that had betrayed her the most. Kali Farsh. Her and her wonderful friend William Barnes. She was glad, at that time, to have the connection with Kali, to be able to spend time with William. Of course, she'd known Kali for most of her life - after all, they were sisters. She'd never really gotten to know her - thank God.
After school had passed, Raechael moving on to Moonshine University for her Transfiguration training, Will had gone with her. They were both at the school, and they were together - alone - without Kali there every moment of the day. After they'd finished at the school, they'd gotten married. How happy she was to push that in Kali’s face the day after it happened. She knew how much Kali wanted Will, and Kali couldn't deal with it. So that trash won him back.
Kali Farsh had stolen the only male she had ever felt anything for.
Barely ten years later, and two years after her beloved cousin's death - also caused by Kali, but now Kali Barnes - Raechael had more of a death wish on that woman then ever. Destopian had been like a brother to her. Will had been the love of her life. Why didn't Kali just leave her life alone?
Raechael looked back up at the mantle, the pictures that sat so regally on the stone. The lone picture of Kali and William hurt her. The other pictures, however, shone with happiness. Destopian. Oh how much she had loved him as her brother. It was one of the happiest times of her life, being eleven, and her eighteen year old cousin telling her of all his adventures in Hogwarts. Now, there was nothing. No one. At the end of the mantle stood one picture, with five shining, happy faces. Destopian, Jamie, Paul, Ty, and Kristi. Like one big, huge family. She felt so close to all of them, and then the Geralds died. Two of her closest friends, gone. Then Destopian going to jail, Paul disappearing? It seemed like everything disappeared, that time of her life. She knew things that she didn't want to, and all the time she was with Ty didn't help.
When Ty went to Hogwarts, she was more than happy. She was estatic.
She had two full years of figuring out what she wanted to do with her life, before Ty had her going undercover for some reason. Going on missions was great, but just not her cup of tea. So, just a few months ago, she had quit.
And here she stood, in her own offices at Hogwarts, in the dungeons. She hadn't wanted to take the position as Slytherin Head of House, as the new Headmistress had forced her to do. Foucal had forced all the new Head of Houses into their new positions, getting rid of Flitwick and Sprout in the process. So many teachers had quit due to Dumbledore not being in the school anymore. So many losses. She was surprised that all of the teachers hadn't left.
Raechael groaned. All of this thinking had to be bad for her brain. So, instead, she thought with her heart. Without her knowing it, her right hand swong up, knocking the picture of William and Kali to the ground. The second the frame touched the ground, the glass shattered. Raechael sighed, pulling her wand out of a hidden pocket in her jeans, and waved it at the pile of glass. The frame remade itself, but the picture remained different - slightly burnt from being too close to the fire. Just her luck, the portion that had been William was completely blackened. So, with a wide grin, she tossed the photo into the flames, watching the paper crinkle in the heat. It was time for some changes, and this was definately a time to start.
