Ramadan and Reverts to Islam
This is my fifth Ramadan. I have managed to fast every year and find it to be difficult in the first few days but relatively easy thereafter. What I enjoy most about Ramadan is the gathering of family and friends to break fast together and pray in congregation. I also enjoy the peace and calm that comes with fasting and particularly restraint - my own and others around me. I would like to hear from other reverts to Islam about your own experiences during Ramadan. What have you discovered? What has been the easiest and most difficult aspects of holding your fast? Please share your thoughts and opinions.
